I thought I was the only one who absolutely hates riding on the interstate. The squiggly lines make the bike dance all over the place, and the road surface is so F'ed up constantly, it absolutely sucks yet everyone prefers it? My heart sang every time you said 'this sucks' because that is exactly what I am thinking pretty much every minute on the interstate. Also. I ride a sport bike, its not just the wind.
Thank you for the sympathetic comment! Someone suggested tires without a center line will help with the vibrations when riding on parts of the highway with squiggly lines. As for the wind, I don’t think there’s much we can do, other than squeezing the tank and engaging those core muscles 😂
Alex just clicked on your video. I rode motorcycles in the South Bay for 21 years w/ mostly great memories. The weather is so great you can ride almost every day. The rain grooves make the bike squirm. Get a front tire w/out a circumferential straight line - Michelin road 6. I always rode liter bikes w/fairings, Gold Wings, 1000s with cafe fairings- big difference.
You will know the limitations of your bike on the freeway. If you’re struggling to keep up with traffic, a faster bike is the easy solution. Experience is important, but not having enough power to overtake cars can be dangerous. Naked retros are cool for around town cruising, but it’s a different ball game when you’re doing 70+mph. Stay safe.
You will get used to the wind, I have a dart wind screen on mine helps a lot. Focus on getting a little stronger, being more fit definitely helps when riding. Focus on using your knees against the tank to hold you, so that your arms are relaxed. That being said I’m in the Long Beach area if you’re ever interested in going for a ride let me know it would be cool to ride with another Royal enfield rider
This is sound advice. Cars are your enemy when you’re on the road. You always want to be one step ahead of them or you’ll become a victim of road rage.
OC! Take drives in that area all the time. Be safe!

Thank you for the tip! I will definitely be looking into getting new tires!
A wind screen helps a lot if you want to do highway speeds.

Rumor is.... he is still 🎉vibrating
"6 miles finna take me 21 minutes?!"
Welcome to LA lol
Goddamn your microphone is so crispy. A joy for the ears! 😂
A windshield makes highway riding enjoyable.
you need to raise your vibration lol
Keep the same logic as when in a car. Do not just chill in the passing lane. Be the fastest vehicle and passing or GTFO of the way

Don't cruise in the passing lane and that won't happen to you... I promise
