Hallo aus Pennsylvania! Glad you liked the video! While we my not have the awesome heights of the Alps over here, there is still more than enough to prove the beauty of the world is everywhere. Hope you get to see it some day my friend!
The theory involving the pressures was an interesting one and surpasses my understanding of physics. Still a cool prospect to read into though. Glad you liked the video!

sadly my musical talents are not quite that good, but there have been people throughout history who have put on concert with "borrowed" rocks from the fields
Oooo! You have given me hope of finding ringing rocks. Here in Tucson the is a petroglyph site actually not far from where I live but it's hard to get to as a 4x4 is needed. I don't tell people about this site but it's known to have 'singing rocks' .. I was using a wooden dowel to try and make them ring but see a hammer would have been better. So now I have to go back with a hammer and give it a try! 🤠
Hammer works great! sort of like hitting an anvil. I haven't heard of the Singing Rocks but that certainly has an amazing sound to the name. Glad you liked the video!
There have been a few bands that took the time to pick out the notes for a tune or two over the years. These guys are far more musically talented than I. ruclips.net/video/Y5cJbcoWaH8/видео.html
Sounds like my kind of place! I haven't spent too much time in that area just yet but there is a short hike near Shippensburg to White Rocks that overlooks the Cumberland Valley.
The sad story of most of the US unfortunately. Great video. I used to go on Geology Field Trips to Ringing Rocks in the early 70's. I think I will visit again in the near future!
Great trip to take! My niece loves hopping from rock to rock in the fields. Hope you get to enjoy these amazing places again soon!
Thank you for an excellent video! Nicely done.
The original rock band
I've driven past the Bucks county park off of rt611 for years but have never stopped. I will make it a point to do so now. Thank you
It makes me wonder if there's an overlooked ringing rock field up in the NJ side.
its entirely possible. These are just the known sites that still open to the public.
Interesting history. We've been there . Thank you for the info.
Glad you liked it! Thanks for watching
Wow! Now I know. Thanks for sharing.
Perhaps you do! The truth is still out there and as of yet the theories are just that, theories. Glad you liked it!
Excellent video, the second theory reminded me of the internal stresses of Prince Rupert's drops, with the "rock bursts" being a direct correlation.

Hi, have rocks like this in my woodlot. At bog level.
That's awesome! I imagine there is still numerous places that haven't been noticed yet, these just happen to be in large conspicuous fields.
I’m a bit disappointed that you didn’t play us a tune jingle bells would have been appropriate!
But interesting video non the less !

Has anyone ever made a musical instrument out of these rocks?
