Nice one you stayed at c&cc site west Runcton nice site very uneven ground Walked from site to cromer last year to get nice seafood from Davies seafood shop Fantastic crabs and cockles Nice place cromer
My sisters kitchen window overlooks the church tower and they have two resident Falcons up there. Also one of those goats was out on that bank all last winter as he refused to be caught. All the others are taken inland a bit. I love Cromer very much❤
I would never have guessed, I thought it was some sort of Victorian bathing machine. I love Cromer and sitting on a beach people watching is a brilliant way to spend a day. Chips and curry looked great. Take care Gill
Ice cream for diabetics? yes!!! I was in Keswick in the Lakes and bought a portion of diabetic ice cream from a small shop close to the lake, it was wonderful 🙏👍
Oooh like the look of Cromer 👍🏻. We always try and take at least one pre made meal with us when we go away - a curry or spaghetti bolognaise, makes life easier xx
Good review of Cromer we were there in Fudge only 3 weeks ago. We camped a bit further away, No 1 Fish and chips was very nice but a tad pricey. We had glorious weather up in Norfolk and its one of our favourite places
Ads, I don't know if you noticed in the life boat station there is the history of various rescues, including the story of the most decorated RNLI Coxswain in the whole of the country.
I recommend the huge fish and chip restaurant on the corner. Also, Browns tucked away off a side road from the High st for breakfast. We stay in the Caravan club site at least once a year.
@@HermanHitstheRoad You can't miss the Fish and Chip place, it is called No 1. A large light blue building, just after where the coast road makes a sharp right turn by the petrol station.
There is a tank museum sorta north of Cromer . Bit of a distance , about 10 clicks north on the Well's road . I can't remember the name , mickle summit or other , but either way it's worth a visit . I came across it by accident , when i was up there , about 15 years ago . Just so happened that very day , they drove a couple around the arena they have out back . I seem to recall there a Tiger involved , but it could have been a Panzer . I would certainly recommend a visit , but at the same time i would also recommend a trip to Well's next to sea , as well . Not very motorhome friendly though , there was a height restriction in place as i recall , i only had a micro camper at the time , so it was not an issue .
@@HermanHitstheRoad Yeah quite , i screwed that one up didn't i . Been on google maps , and it's more sorta west . The Muckleburgh military collection , Just the other side of Sheringham on the A149 . As i said Ads , it was 15 years ago . Up until Covid i was up that way every year , i used to help out at a hang gliding school for a month at Swaffam . Reason i got my bus , spent over a month on site every year .
The height barrier at Wells beach car park was not in place when were there earlier this year, but we just might have been lucky. I would recommend a night at the Pinewoods spoonbill drift site too
A farmer once told me that, despite the meteorological myths, cows only lie down to rest their legs and chew their cud. That’s it. When the dominant cow lies down all the rest follow……a bit like people really. Oh, and the Latin inscription means; “Glory to God in the highest”. Good God fearing folk in Norfolk.

Thanks Gill. The sad thing is we forgot to take a look at the Banksy a bit further up the beach.

Somewhere halfway, @colineames5818. Around Cambridge, I think
I think the old wisdom was that when cows fly low, it will rain soon… Or was that pigs… Or something. 🐂🪽
Haha 😄. If cows or pigs are flying low - you RUN FOR YOUR LIFE, Ari 🤣
@@HermanHitstheRoad Oh sorry. It was not rain, it was a hurricane! 😆
If you see flying cows, you deserve a pat on the head 😂
