You can just see the love Jamie has for Sherpa.. when he goes for a Hi 5 when Sherpa not there.. Dogs bring the best out of humans. Unconditional love they give us.. So glad Sherpa doing well...
I can sympathize with the extreme worry and the delicious relief. Each sedation for them is like we get the adrenaline medicine filled with dreadjuice. Your face throughout said it all, including the 'I'm trying to be brave" face. I'm soo happy he and you are OK.

Yay, Sherpa is such a fit boy he was probably talking the vet’s ear off after his procedure bragging the tooth fairy was going to bring him chicken balls. The other dogs were like ‘yo you’re Sherpa, do you really know Batdog? Let him know I have a zombie problem at mine, I can use his help. I’ll use my hooman’s credit card to pay his petrol.’ So glad he’s up & around ready to go on his next adventure. When Jamie was going to pick him up he has the same excited expression as Sarah, really cute trait dad & daughter share.

This is so touching. It's so obvious how much Jamie loves Sherpa and how precious that bond is. Sherpa is older now, and surgery is riskier. As our furry companions age, we worry more about everything associated with them. It's hard, but it's also beautiful the attachment we form in our lives with them.

Nothing worse than waiting for your fur baby to be finish in the vet. Life is so freaking quiet without them. We don't often realize how much we miss them until we are away from them ❤

I really felt how Daddy missed Sherp during the walk around town. It was soooo quiet when he entered the church. If Sherp had been there, he would've ANNOUNCED his arrival with a side bonus of why isn't there a welcoming committee of admirers to greet him. 😆😅

Our furry friends just bounce back and live in the moment while their guardian's are nervous wrecks. What the vets and their teams do for our furry friends can not be praised high enough. I'm looking forward to more adventures with our fluffy boi and his obedient servant. 😄
Love that you lit a candle and said a prayer for Sherpa AND picked up some treats for him as well. Life suspended until you knew he was ok. That's genuine love and devotion. They are our family after all. Love and best wishes to Sherpa and his Dad from Australia.

The lighting of a candle for Sherpa was very touching. As a parent, human or animal, we tell ourselves not to worry but it's impossible not to do so. My cat, Mabel, is 17 years of age, and I am so grateful to be able to take advantage of modern veterinary medicine.

Awwww this video is proof that Jamie needs Sherpa and Sherpa needs Jamie to be complete! They are a team and that bond is so, SO healing! A little dad and Sherpa cuddle and all is right with the world again! Every hooman that has been adopted by a dog knows this! I never felt better than when Harlowe's emergency surgery was done and she could come home with me and cuddle!

Unlike Jamie I was a bit of a mess. I didn't want her put under so I stayed, went into the room and held her while they did all the cutting and draining. She was so brave and I hugged and kissed her the whole time! When we got home we cuddled and watched Sherpa, Batdog, Jamie, K'eyush and Jodi which made her happy and just feeling her breath next to me was the best feeling ever!

For the last few days, Ive been keeping thinking about you, Jamie. While I prayed for Sherpa, a mere thought of how anxious and scared you must have been made me feel awful. Waiting in a vet can be very tough, I couldn't shake the feeling of my heart sinking when our animal family is poorly.
We all know Sherpa's got the best dad possible, you two deserve all the congrats and celebration there are in the world.😂🎉

@bravepoodle I can't agree more with what you said. Only people who treat their animals the same as children have such a great feeling of care and fear. We are everything to them and they believe that we will do the best we can for them.

Totally stressful process when bringing our fur babies in, to be sedated for whatever it is.Adrenalin kicks in & when it's over & they are safely home,then HUGE SIGH OF RELIEF!! 🙄🐺😎💕

I like how Sherpa kept his bandage on his leg after his operation so that everyone would know he'd been a brave boy whilst at the vet's and give him even more fuss than usual!

Ok...seems like a little separation anxiety for dad....I SO get it !!! Often I could see myself in my robe and slippers, shuffling down the halls of the vet hospital, drooling...much worse anxiety on me..I think !!! The best words : he did GREAT....ready to go home !!! So glad he is back in his own bed ❤️👍🐾🐕

It's so stressful when our puppas go into the vet. My Jack Russell Max is 19 and has been diagnosed with Stage 4 kidney disease. I'm heartbroken. I lost my sweet kelpie three months ago. Sherpa is beautiful and very loved. Glad all went well 💜

One of Sherpa's loyal subject who spotted the royal carriage (the beautiful red van) when Sherpa was coming out from the vet to go home, was so lucky to have got the chance to have met Lord Sherpa in person.
A very big thank too to all the wonderful doctors, nurses and staff for taking exceptional care of our Lord Sherpa.
