I would love to see some sim gameplay tutorials on things like, dogfight tactics, stealth tactics, missiles, flaring, radars/RWRs, literally anything. I know some of these things are on youtube already but I think most apply to sim a little different at least. I see too many people that have no idea what they're doing in sim and they have like 100+ matches in jets. Nobody really makes videos like that for sim so the learning curve is longer than it even should be and I think you'd make some pretty good videos on it.
flying as the russians gets very annoying after a while as you often go against jets with 9ms which are in comparison to the r73 INVISIBLE because for some reason gaijin thinks that *smokeless* means no smoke when in practice its is less smoke compared to a 9L, just look at DCS and its smoke trails for smokeless and smokey missiles. the 9M (in sim) is arguably the most op missile as you cant fucking see the thing, i understand "just preflare bro" and its a fair argument but in any other case other than a head on you can't see the missile or the dude shooting it at you.
I agree that the missile should have slightly more visible smoke but, 9ms are reasonably easy to keep away with pre-flaring, you just need to know where your opponent is, and have good judgement on when to flare. To quote the words of the missile, you need to subtract where the opponent is from where it isn't. If it's not in front of you, it probably has an angle on you and you need to flare. If you're flying something with a digital RWR, really pay attention to that in a dogfight, it helps a lot. Situational awareness and following instinct is key to not dying to 9Ms or anything else. TLDR: Pre-flare more lmao
The problem with preflaring in Russian jets is that these planes have flares for like 10-20 seconds of preflaring total and you have to start preflaring 9Ms in headons from 5km and continue doing that right until merge so it takes almost all of the flares even before a single merge Also all these soviet/Russian planes are blind(Except SMT which is literally an f-16c, but with one small difference, it can fly only straight line and it is slower) I mean RWRs(which is the main thing for top tier SB) of these planes are simply useless, you have to start preflaring every single ping and turning that direction and scanning to identify what it is and how far(if it’s an enemy) or you’ll diy very often to any IR missiles not only 9Ms, also US players that know what they’re doing against soviets are flying with radar turned off cause they have a functional RWR and know that the only soviet plane that have pretty much the same RWR is SMT so that means that this is the only soviet plane that potentially wont shows up in the RWR any other forced to permanently use their radars, that’s why I prefer SMT in Soviet/Russian TT even with its the worst FM over all 11.3-12.3 planes
Out of interest, how much does a pc capable of running DCS with good settings cost (not including the ancillaries like headset and controls)? Would love to get it but haven't had a pc since early 2000s because I got sick of constantly needing to upgrade to keep up with game requirements and have been on consoles ever since.
For example my specs are : gtx1660ti, 4300ge ,32gb , and my DCS is on a 4th gen NVME, game run at 60 fps stable ( could be even more but i capped it to save some power)@@poguemahone5476
Probably, felt kinda like all the weight was in the back hence the backwards falling, once i got enough speed back the aerodynamics took over and flipped the plane back round. Would be my guess 🤷🏻♂️
i have no idea whats going on or how to play sim but you content is very cool and fun to listen to even if i dont understand whats happening on screen apart from like the stuff i know from air rb
You need to take 20m of fuel with 2 drop tanks, 40m of fuel in total is enough to get all of your missiles off, and usually after a merge i find myself dropping a bunch of my flares so being left with 15m after a merge gives me enough to fly a little bit more or just go back home
@@nimbal3304 yeah, i think 50m is just too much for these maps. (Which is why i wish they added drop tanks to the F-14s, but gaijin doesnt like F-14s seeing as they didnt get a lead indicator until a while after they were added :( )
I'd be interested to see you fly the F-14b in sim, I fly it all the time in DCS and its very strong in a 1v1. Curious how it fairs in war thunder, I try but die a lot from 3rd partying and well just being shit at war thunder lol.
Can't wait for you to do a video on the MIG-29SMT in todays environment. Oddly enough I learned to like it more than the Flanker in both RB and Sim. Its radar and avionics makes it work better and more often than not the lack of a good RWR in the Flanker has gotten me killed. In the merge against Gripens and Vipers, the Flanker's better performance to the Fulcrum isn't that helpful anyways. And I'm the person who wears a Flanker baseball cap almost everyday. So.... yeah its weird.
8:40 there was one thrust vectoring F-15, the NASA F-15 STOL/MTD, with 2 plane thrust vectoring and canards
I wouldn't mind it being added as a premium someday lol

You absolutely need an NVME and 32gb of RAM, then you'll just need a decent pc and it should be all good@@poguemahone5476

Can't wait to unlock it 50 years from now
@8:10 i think you did a tail slide, war thunder doesn't show negative airspeed on your HUD, but i think you were falling backwards maybe?

Great vid. The f15 isn’t my cup of tea but when I do fly it’s FM is pretty good definitely better FM than the su27.

Just noticed we both use the black color for our radar stuff. Didnt know anyone else that used it too

Yeah i think you're right, having instant access to 20min performance is a must in this thing.

Do you use a VR headset ? Cause thats some wonderful flying you do
Any tips for the player staying together as they try and fight you
I'm still baffled that this thing managed to dodge 12.7
Maybe when they'll introduce the fox3's

What setup do you use for SIM?

I feel this comment 100%
What happened to the J7e vid?
Tip don't dogfight with 30m of fule😂
sim king!
Ngl all SIM is now is fly low to dodge radar missiles which leads to a merge , then rate fighting then to get r 73 when u try dogfighting the su 27s
with f15a for usa how should i play it againts ussr planes?
hi)
There was a lot of crazy takes made in this video
?
