In this market, buyers are constantly competing for their dream home. How can you make your offer stand out above the rest?
I have three tips to help you do just that!
Number one, make sure you’ve offered a competitive price
on the home.
In this market there are sure to be plenty of offers being put on that same home you are wanting. Don’t hold out too much or you may find yourself losing out on that home.
Number two, put down a larger earnest money deposit. It shows that you are serious and also tells the seller that you are more likely qualified to purchase.
And if you’re financing, be qualified with your lender and not just pre-approved.
The farther along you are with your loan process will help the the seller know you are serious and ready.
I do not recomend removing your loan or appraisal contingencies because you could stand to loose that deposit.
Number three, let the seller know that you have not written offers on any other properties, you’ve verified the taxes and taken them into consideration in regards to your payment, let them know
that you are going to be as reasonable as possible inregards to repair requests once you go into escrow.
Make sure YOUR agent is in contact with THEIR agent consistently, helping to make you as the buyer that stands out in the eyes of the agent
