I put a whole head of garlic in a bottle of olive oil in the the food processor and macerate it until the garlic disappears pour it back into the bottle and shake it before each use. Very flavorful and healthier than powder.
Hi esthermisiism! Thanks for watching, commenting and asking your question! Some spices will clump up when exposed to moisture. To get your garlic powder back to a powder rather than a clump, do your best to remove what you can from the jar onto a paper towel or piece of plastic wrap or waxed paper (if it's really hard, breaking it up in the jar with a butter knife may help to remove it from the jar). Fold over the paper towel, plastic wrap, or waxed paper to help keep the clump from spraying bits around and try to break up the clumps with the back of a spoon. If that doesn't work, try putting the clumps in a spice grinder or small food processor to get it back into the powder form. When you return it to the jar, make sure it is closed all the way to keep moisture out. I hope this helps! :)
It doesn’t matter, unless you pay more and buy organic, produce in the states are sprayed with pesticides, reason I moved out of agricultural Salinas, CA.
Well...in some applications, powder is better, and fresh is better in other applications. Sometimes it's just easier and faster to use the powder! So, one is not better than the other, it's just a matter of which is best for the application. Thanks for watching and commenting :)
everything that is powder is more flavory & tasty than fresh fresh garlic get damage too & lost the vitamins & minerals the ground one last forever l trow it to almost anything & l don,t had to peel it l rather my processed powder garlic that last forever than the fresh garlic that get dry & lost the taste or that you had to cook it in oil that gave you cholesterol & not only that lost all the ingredient while is cooking it on the oven!

I avoid garlic powder because almost all of it comes from China. But interesting comparison!
Good point!
wtf does that mean lol
@ SmallDick StoleYourGirl They don't have strict regulations on purity in china
