I have to disagree on your opinion of Vancouver. There is a lot to do. There are numerous walking trails, kayaking, fishing, downtown waterfront with water view shops and restaurants and a trail along the waterfront, tons of shopping throughout the city, Big Al’s has a bowling alley and video games with a bar, indoor trampoline park for the kiddos, just 15 minutes north is a huge casino with tons of restaurants and entertainment. All this with easy access to Portland (if one should choose to go) just over the bridge. I think the biggest bonus is access and views to the Columbia River. Beautiful scenery! Vancouver is place people are moving to which explains the increase in real estate prices in and around Clark County.
I agree. I think Vancouver is the perfect sized city. Just enough "big" to have good food and entertainment, but small enough to not be a pain in the arshe. And, when you get bored...go to Portland!
Yeah, they said a house in Kenmore wouldn't cost more than $400k something. We bought our house in Kenmore in 2020 for $690K and sold it for $1.2mil in 2022. And that was cheap at the time.
We live in just one of the most striking regions in the U.S. when sunny days and blue skies arrive in our region, you gotta go outside to appreciate that.

You would be better off not coming to WA STATE. The crime is out of control, drugs are tolerated, homeless all over walking like zombies. Juvenile crime has skyrocketed with zero accountability. Traffic is so bad you can't get anywhere in a timely manner, bumper to bumper on every freeway, backroads too. Roads are full of potholes despite the fact we have one of the highest gas tax in the nation. Do nothing Democrats have destroyed WA.
I enjoyed this video thank you! I currently live in Chicago and moving next year to WA. Crime rates (as some people have mentioned) don't scare me considering where I'm coming from 😂

well, that makes no sense. Youre just moving here? Anywhere? That is like saying youre moving to Arizona. There is a HUGE difference in Northern Arizona versus the Phoenix area and Tucson area. Day and night difference. Well, Washington has its Puget Sound/Ocean area which is on ONE side of the pass and then on the other side of the pass you have the more desert open areas like Yakima and as you head towards the pass, east to west, you get greener and more trees and mountains...but...if you go way East, you get around the Spokane area, again with mountains and pines...but there is a 5,6 hour drive from one side and type of environment, across the state, to the other side and environment. Are you thinking OCEAN, Pines, huge snowed covered volcanos in the distant views? Try a place called "Parkland" which is sort of by Tacoma. affordable but somewhat close to the water. OR..OR, live on my side of the pass, here in Ellensburg, where you get the feel of a small town but can be on "the other side" (that is what people here call it) in a couple hour car ride. So, you could enjoy the Sound and the big cities, but then be back home here, by the night, in a town of 50k

I live in Monroe which is east of Everett where the Boeing 747 plant is and besides the traffic it has been a great place to call home. Like any other cities you'll find adequate places to eat and play. The State of Washington is a very outdoorsy state. Thursday and Fridays can fill up the roads leading to Ski Lifts, hiking trails, 4x4 parks, golf courses galore and small towns celebrating Indian and tribal festivities. With the exception of a few southern town in the state of Washington crime isn't as bad as they make it out to be but yes we have our occasional incidents. The state of Washington is a great state to live, work and play the only caveat is the high cost of living. But we have Microsoft, Boeing, Kenwood trucks, Starbucks, Costco and Amazon just to name a few of the Global corporations that lead Washington states economy.
As a lifelong Washington resident , this list is way out of whack. 17 out of 20 are becoming unlivable due to density policies. I won't even mention the crime problems.

How the hell did Tacoma make it on the list? Renton is better, Tacoma has got more crime and if you’re living in the area your probably working north and gotta drive south where rent is cheaper and if you drive to Tacoma it’s a 1-3hr commute whilst Renton is 25-45min. Long story short I don’t take the rest of these videos you have seriously
