Thank you!
Thank you.
Thank you!
As a 30 year plus employee of the National Park Service (now retired), not only have I been to most of these sites, I've actually worked in a lot of them. Of course, all I ever saw was their server room. But the drive to the work site was well worth it.
We never stopped traveling! Live your life people!
@@AgendaInMind swag!
I love the National Park Service and appreciate all of the rangers and park employees who keep it going. In my opinion, our National Parks are what really make America such a special place.
@@jeremyday9056 Noice!!
You’re a lucky 🍀 man .
We live in an absolutely breathtaking country. The landscape across the board is phenomenal. Briggs could do an entire channel on our landscape. Not enough lifetime to see it all
The ones from this list I have been to are The Rocky Mountains and The Grand Canyon....sad huh? 😢
@@dankelly5150 The Grand Canyon is not the deepest canyon in North America. The deepest canyon is in Idaho, about 80 miles from my home. I've visited both the north and south rims of the Grand Canyon, which is more spectacular.
Deeper than the Grand Canyon is the amount of effort Briggs puts into this video and all the others. Nice work, Briggs! Thank you…
Much appreciated!
I've been to about 75% of these places and I can say, wholeheartedly, it is worth it. This is what makes America great- the fact that we have chosen to protect these special places for all of our future generations to see.
So happy to see Watkins Glen State Park in New York on your list! In my opinion New York State is often underrated. People immediately think of New York City and Niagara Falls. The Finger Lakes region is gorgeous wine country. The Adirondacks Region is greater in size than Yellowstone, Everglades, Glacier, and Grand Canyon Park combined. I ❤ New York!
Wow! The US has such beauty! I added several to the bucket list…..I love this topic and would love to see more just like it!
Glad you enjoyed it!
1. Antelope Canyon (I just toured it this Morning!!)
2. Yosemite National Park
3. Acadia National Park
4. Lake Tahoe (CA/NV)
5. Zion National Park.
A couple years ago I rafted 88 miles of Colorado river through the Grand Canyon. Definitely the most physically challenging thing I've ever done! I have a healthy respect for the canyon and its rapids.
I have been all over the Rockies. My dad lived in Bigfork MT. for over forty years. Bigfork is on Flathead Lake. Spent a lot of time on the lake when I was a kid. Been to Glacier National Park, Yellowstone, and the Tetons. My daughter lives in Redmond OR. I have seen Smith Rock.
This list could potentially be huge. There are so many nice natural sites in this country. This is probably a reason why the USA is such a great country, and not a lot of Americans leave the country.
Most don't leave the country
I grew up in Watkins Glen, hiked the state park every summer. It's absolutely gorgeous and I recommend going there in your lifetime.
I grew up near Letchworth State Park, another gorgeous place, as well as Stony Brook Park in Dansville, NY.
Thank you Mr Briggs, for including White Sands National Monument on your list. Nice to see this wonderful and unearthly corner of New Mexico getting some love!
I ❤ New Mexico.
Same. Underrated place.
I don't know how often you hear this Briggs but Thank You. No comment other than to say thank you for this video.
Sadly, I haven't been to any of these places. They all look stunning! Maybe someday...
I think you could have included the coral reefs of the Florida Keys. They’re the only living barrier reef in the continental United States, and the third largest in the world. These are the largest living structures, and are filled with amazing wildlife! See them while they’re still with us.
bruh i live in florida and i didnt know this , like in south florida too, ima go check it out
Well said! Although I believe Mycelia are the largest living structures...
Thank you for this, it gives me a visual excuse not to leave this country.
Its nuts right now
I thought I'd seen it all with 8 sites visited. Oh well.
White Sands was the best part of our New Mexico trip. Amazing! Would love to do the full moon tour at night that the monument offers.
I have been to the Grand Canyon, Sequoia, Lake Tahoe, Multnomah Falls (I was born in Portland and live across the river in Washington).
I'm surprised Sedona, AZ and Zion National Park, UT did not make the list this time. You can add my name to the list of people who are interested in another or two video on this topic.
By the way, I truly truly appreciate your channels. They are family friendly and educational. As a parent and grand parent that means a lot to me.
I love Zion
@@WorldAccordingToBriggs smokies have gotta make the next list
Sedona and Zion are beautiful
Ditto ❤
I second that. I really enjoy this type of video and would love to see more.
Lots of other beautiful areas Oregon caves being one of them spectacular beautiful country around the caves Views from the mountain tops are breathtaking
Great Smokey and Blue Ridge Mountains are the ones I've been to, being from South Carolina. But there's a few of these on my list!
Please please please do more videos like this I feel like you haven't even scratched the surface of the beauty that is here in the United States
I live in the finger lakes area and watkins Glen is great! I was surprised it got a shoutout on this list 👍💚
Good taste Briggs! Been to many of them in the west, regret none. You also showed a quick shot of Morraine Lake, Alberta. Easy to get to, jaw dropping beautiful.
Briggs, I enjoy.your video very much. What I am impressed about is how the citizens come together to preserve nature. After looking at SF bay area and "save the bay" initiated by local citizens, it is amazingly well preserved and will bring joy to many many future generations to come. Please do a video on top 10 citizen based nature preserves beyond the NPs and state parks, which you have already covered. Thank you!
I AM SURE THE BEAUTY OF THE U.S.A. IS PHENOMENAL !!! I ADORE THIS STUNNING PLANET EARTH !!!!! ALL AROUND THE WORLD ! THANKS . FROM U.K. (2023).
Sick and Tired of Snow???
Go check out the Caves in Puerto Rico, they have a lot of them and some of them are huge. It's a great vacation getaway.
How blessed we are to live in this beautiful country ❤
Never knew a desert got that cold at night. Learn something every day.
My family is lucky enough to go to these amazing places: Multnomah falls, Yosemite Natl park, Giant Sequoia, Lake Tahoe, Acadia Nat’l park, crater lake Oregon, Rocky Mountains, and the most spectacular is Bryce Canyon❤️
I camped at Smith Rocks back in1974 when there was no bridge to get across the Crooked River, they built a bridge a few years later. If you go to Crater Lake, make time to take the all-day boat tour, it drops you off on Wizard Island and you have time to hike to the summit and have lunch. Others to add are Denali and Kenai Fjords in Alaska.
Warkins Glen is amazing, stunning beautiful, a gem of the finger lakes
America beautiful 🤩❤️you need 100 of these videos that how is beautiful
I converted my 02’ Subaru Outback into a camper and will definitely be using this video to help me plan places to visit on my travels
The scenery is very beautiful.❤
Reno, my husband and I love your stories so keep them coming. America needs this!
I would love to see a part two and/or three to this! ☺️👍
I would definitely love to see more of these videos. You did an amazing job on this one. 😊
Thank you so much!!
Yep but he should do one specifically east of the Mississippi as this region of the USA was very disrespected this go round. I name one as an example Mammoth Cave National Park, the largest cave system in the world.
Love the video. My wife and I have been to the Grand Canyon, Teton National, Monument Valley, Watkins Glenn. I was hoping that you would have mentioned Niagar Falls,Yellowstone, and Zion National Parks some of my favorites. There are quite a few in you list that are on my bucket list.
I have seen glacier national park several times because I am Montanan. It is very beautiful and wonderful.
I went to Badlands NP in the autumn Of 2021. All I could do when I saw it was stand there and cry, praising God for the beauty.
You definitely need a part 2, 3, 4, 5, and maybe 17 or 18! You haven’t even touched the east coast yet (save for one). Excellent job, give us more!
Love Yosemite and saw the last of the Firefall in the 1960's Been to see the oldest trees in Calif. Drove through a oldest tree there.
CRATER LAKE WAS BEAUTIFUL Stop in Lake Tahoe.Been to Bryce Canyon also.
This is a neat one, Briggs! :) Thank you for making these! :)
Glad you like it!
18 of 20 No to Hawaii and the Big Bend....do add Mt.Zion, Glacier, Devil's Tower, Big Horns (my favorite), Mt Washington, Mesa Verde, Great Sand Dunes, Canyon of the Ancients, Burro Trail in Captial Reef National Park, Arches National Park, Goose Necks of the San Juan, Flat Tops Wilderness....oh so many...
Been to Monument Valley,Grand Canyon,Rocky Mountains, and Acadia parks. Liked Acadia the best because of Cadillac Mountain being so close to the Gulf of Maine beautiful!
Sadly, living in the northeast, I have only been to 2 of these - Acadia National Park, and Watkins Glen. Both are everything Briggs says they are, and we'll worth the trip to see. Hopefully I can get to some of these others- they all look amazing!!
The Smokies and the Blue Ridge Parkway are also not to be missed and closer to the NE.
" If you see that keep out sign you're in the right place keep going" 😂😂😂 beautiful 😂😂😂
We love the western part of the US . We always make a stay on Devils Tower for a few days when we go out that way.
About 6 years ago my family took a trip to the Rockies in Colorado and we drove through the national park. It was really amazing driving up the mountain to the point of elevation in which trees did not grow. It was July and there was snow on the ground and we even saw elk. On top of the mountain the sky was blue and cloudless but we ran into storms as we drove towards the bottom, which was really interesting. That trip was amazing and I would love to check out more national parks and even go back to The Rockies.
My fav hobby is to see tourist under dress to go to Rockies Mountain and instantly regret! It’s cold all year around up there 😂😂
I want to see all of these before I die. I love this land. Please make another video Briggs.
Yellowstone is nature's amusement park. It has to be seen to be believed. Pix don't do justice!
On the East coast, you won't do much better than Virginia's Shenandoah Nat'l Park, especially if you're a hiker or you like fall leaf-peeping.
I agree with your choice of Watkins Glen, the walking path through the gorge is quite stunning.
Yes, you could realistically make three more of these lists for the US alone, Briggs.
Been to a few of those places, lived in So Lk Tahoe. The ONE you didn't mention.........OLYMPIC NATIONAL PARK,WA Nearly 1 million acres of breathtaking beauty...My favorite place to be....anywhere
So glad to have seen Acadia before cruise ship days. Hardly anyone was around, even in the middle of Summer. Absolutely gorgeous place. The camping in Maine was amazing, and the areas were cleaner than any motels. Memories.
The Great Lakes are the top of this for me it’s amazing no where else on earth are there fresh water lakes this size.
The Great Smoky Mountains are also phenomenal! I enjoyed your video very much. Thank you for sharing it. Our country is beautiful beyond description.
I love Multnomah Falls!! Glad it got a mention here
Camping out to watch from just before first light through sunrise over Monument Valley is an amazing sight.
I do really enjoy watching your videos to learn more about America. I really wish to visit the states someday. Keep up the good work! From Sweden 🇸🇪
Amazing landscapes. God created Paradise on our planet. Help Man to keep this perfection.
You’re missing out on the Boundary Waters Canoe Area of northern Minnesota!! An amazing place to canoe and portage from pristine lake to pristine lake. Listening to the call of the loons echoing against a star studded night.
Sleeping on WA. There's Mount Ranier National Park, Mount Saint Helens, the Olympic National Park and so much more.
Enjoyed this very much. Well done!
Cool, excited to watch this Briggs!
Hope you enjoy it!
@@WorldAccordingToBriggs I sure did! Thanks again for this video! 👍
If you're going to do another video, please have more than 2 destinations that are east of the Mississippi river. Niagara Falls, Florida Everglades, and the Great Smokies are just a few of the places you can mention.
Great
Video. You must go to the Channel Islands National Park. It is called the “Galapagos of the West”. Absolutely stunning kayak tours of the caves. Amazing!!
The USA is a breathtaking country. Everything from Lakes, oceans, rivers, canyons, deserts, mountains…pretty much every geological phenomenon is there. I am Canadian and we have many amazing things but to be honest, the USA has a more extensive array of landscape. They have the entire inventory of epic stuff.
Nice show. One that sticks out for me is a private Rafting trip down the Grand Canyon for 16 days in June of 2008. All clear water with little to no silt the whole way.
Bryce canyon was amazing and well worth several trips to see and hope it always keeps it's silent beauty
Beautiful video journey! Yes, do more please whenever possible.
The beauty of the earth 🌎, great subject. ✅👍🙏
Thank you Briggs!
You want to see Niagra Falls in August and take the catwalk which takes you to where you can get splashed by the water or feel the mist from a boat trip.
Lake Tahoe is awesome. Have you seen the finger lakes in NY or city with a lake in ID called McCall?
Since you are in Portland you shoukd take a trip to Silverton Falls, OR. Most the falls are next to nothing but a couple are really cool and the 8 mile hike is great.
The evergreens of the NW, the blanket of color of the northern east coast deciduous trees in the fall...
And I am overly captivated by our Oceans
Have a great day
Great list, Saint John national park would be in my top 20 over some of these state parks.Saint John and Hawaii are the most beautiful beaches in the USA . I just did Saint John it was amazing
Sweet!
I’m grateful that I’ve been to most of these sites. Fabulous vid, Briggs. Thanks so much. Would love more… like a vid about all the islands off the Carolinas - tons of history there.
Thanks Briggs I feel fortunate to have been to a good chunk of these sites. I lived in Haines Alaska for 22 years and had the chance to take a flightseeing tour over Glacier Bay. Unforgettable. By the way when you finally get to Haines, you'll be tempted to add the area to this list. As an old man told me after living there for 40 years, 'You know when I've gone to national parks and other scenic sites. I appreciate them, but I'm kind of spoiled.' After 22 years there myself I understood why. Pretty much 85% of what you can see in Alaska is in this area: glaciers, rivers, whales, moose, fjords, mountains, lakes, friendly people, two kinds of bears, five kinds of salmon, and the largest gathering of bald eagles in the world.
Great video as always o could watch your channel all day long keep up the good work!!
You could make the argument for Niagara falls being top 5. Great video. Thank you briggs for these videos
I love the outdoors so I would definitely watch another video like this one! Thank you.
Natural wonders are plentiful here. A few of my favorite places for sure. Your next list should include Carl's Bad Caverns, Meteor Crater, Zion NP, and The CA Redwoods.
This was a great video. I have been fortunate to see and live near Multnomah Falls, Tetons and Yellowstone.
I L❤V E This so much!!!!!!
Looks like Briggs did the footwork. Thanks brother.
Awesome!! Looking forward to future installations!
1) Grand Canyon - 1985 (south rim), 2004 (north rim)
8) Rocky Mountains - 1975, 1977, 1985, 2003, 2010
10) Yosemite - 1975, 1988
11) Sequoia National Park - 1971, 2000
17) Lake Tahoe - 1975
20) Bryce Canyon - 1985, 2004
I love Bryce Canyon. Summer is way cooler (temperatures) then Vegas or Zion. It’s really unique and a must see.
Amazing information and photography, thanks for sharing.
Loved this! I have been to every national park in the United States. Thank you for your efforts in making this video. You are awesome Briggs!
I've been to Badlands National Park. It's very beautiful and I loved climbing the badlands.
Excellent video! It included most of the obvious ones, but also had some interesting places that I haven’t seen on lists like this. Only complaint; Niagara Falls HAS to be on any natural wonders list. I know the area’s become a tacky tourist trap (I once lived in WNY), but the falls became a huge honeymoon destination in the 50’s for a reason. The Canadian side is better, but the Park and Goat Island are pretty cool on the American side too. Maybe on your next trip visiting the family in Buffalo?
Niagara Falls is wonderful.
Absolutely loved this video!
I’ve been to all of the places you covered except the waterfall in Hawaii and Smith Rock in Oregon. I have not been to Watsons Glen., either. Steens Mountain is great. I was glad to see the slot canyon in Arizona made your list. I love the desert, though. But my favorite place in the US is Canyonlands and Arches National Parks
Been to about 13 of your picks. Loved them all.(I love scenery!) Had my choice of anywhere in the world for the 45th wedding anniversary, and picked the parks of Utah. BEST ROAD TRIP EVER!!!! (Included Colorado {Mesa Verde} too.) And Arizona!
Love your videos.
Lake Tahoe, Multonomah Falls, Sequoia, Yosemite and Crater Lake. I agree with Briggs Crater Lake is absolutely beautiful in the winter. Going to Acadia National Park in September. Bryce Canyon is gorgeous but enjoyed Zion more.
You need to go to Fort Rock Oregon. We picniced there and it was so windy it blew the food off your plates. It was fun and funny. Peoples food plates blowing off the table
Beautiful! Thank you for making this and all your videos. I would love to see one about the East coast.
Thank you for your human enthusiasm and human voice.
Crater Lake is STUNNING. Went there in the summer way back when. Would love to visit in the winter, I see most pictures online of the snow there and I bet its just magical then. ✨️
I really enjoyed this video so much and would like to see more as I just love nature...thank you so much!
28 minutes and well worth it! Thank you :-)
Wow, absolutely beautiful. Wonderful places!
