I absolutely LOVE this song. I've never heard it before and the lyrics have so much meaning for me personally. I lost my husband over a year ago and somedays I don't feel like Trying to do anything but sleep. Love the message and will get up and listen to this daily. There's 3 of Peter's songs that I listen to daily also. Blessings to both of you and Ashland for your musical talents and fantastic voices.
If more people sounded like Evynne Hollens the world would be happier.

This song is really powerful, it's telling you to be yourself and you don't have to use make up to cover your true beauty because you're perfect just the way you are. I hope more of us can take this message to heart 😊❤
Mrs Hollens, It is an honor and a joy hearing you sing. I have been a US Marine, SF Soldier, Police Officer and a Prison Guard, and as such lots of my memories are painful or dealing with someone else's pain. Hearing you and Mr Hollens sing, eases that pain, and allows me to imagine, for moment, all is well.
As a self proclaimed "hater" of makeup I really like this song. Not because of the painting or mask reasons. Everyone is beautiful in their on way and most people doesn't stop and see it because they are to caught up in trying to be what some norm wants them to become.
As for your singing your voice really carries though and I can't understand how two so talented singers ended up with together. You've done so many wonderful songs that brighten my day. I still believe though that we have seen nothing yet. You will rise and become so much more and I'm humbled to be a minute part of your journey. Keep up the wonderful work and hug your little guy.

Beautiful. Love the song too. I'm also a new dad of little daughter. Nothing is more beautiful then that. So clean and pure just like her mother, why cover it up? Perfect message. All the beaty that one have is looking at their eyes nothing else. All the other visual things are nothing. We have to see ourself, just like my daughter sees me. I believe, we as parent, are perfect in every sense to them.

I love this song I showed it to my mom and she loved it and decided to use it in her peer counseling group at her school. So many people struggle with themselves. Due to this they try too hard when they shouldn't, as long as you like you that is best thing.

Love this. :) my husband and I are trying to wait one more year before kids so I can finish grad school, but I've got baby fever and he tries to shield me from cute babies. But this! So sweet! I'm in trouble now. ;) but anyway I loved this cover and it's a great thing to be able to show this to all your kids one day to enforce the same message to them. This is a very beautiful song with such a powerful message. Natural beauty is one of the most attractive thing about a woman. However, many women think that they need to have the approval from others in order to be happy. While it does feel good to have others approve who you are, people need to focus more on being happy with who they are themselves before thinking about what others think. the world could be a much happier place I think. Always a fan of your music. Can't wait to hear what you do next.

I started out as a member of the Hollens family when I discovered Peter and Lindsey Stirling doing a piece together. My introduction to Evynne came from her and Peter covering Gotye's "Somebody That I Used To Know". I now find that the bulk of my RUclips music listening comes from one of those three artists, and I've yet to find anyone that has impressed me more as far as raw talent goes. That kid is going to have an impressive set of lungs.
I'm going to shamelessly advertise the talent of the Hollens family on a few other videos, in the hopes that more followers find their way to your channels. With all of the talent that you and your husband have, you should both be doing nothing but singing for a living.
