It is so nice to see two siblings love each other so much and not be selfish. This is a true example of what real family is about. People cry over the stupidest little things and yet these two people found a moment for them and their whole family to enjoy. Many blessings to these two beautiful women and family.
This is exactly how me and my sister are like. We’re very close and would do anything for each other even if it’s at the expense of ourselves. I don’t care if I miss work, school, or get in trouble somehow because I was with my sister. She needs me, I’m there. And she would do the same for me. Our parents are also like that. My dad can feel like absolute crap from being sick and he’ll still do things to make my life easier if I also feel like crap. I feel very blessed to have such a great family because all of my friends growing up had divorced parents or otherwise dysfunctional family dynamics. My mom wants to fight those parents and they treat my friends like their own children. I learned that from them and will do anything for them like I would for my sister.
@nat602 I was not blessed with a sister, but I am blessed with two kind, generous, beautiful daughters. And the way you describe your relationship with your sister is exactly what their bond is! And your dad is as awesome as their dad! Your mum is as blessed as I am.
I think this bride was so selfless but at the same time I can’t help but think about how the other sister willingly chose to elope and not have that moment. It makes me think the bride may have done it so her dad could have had that moment😢

The bride truly loves her family. She gave a special memory to both her sister and father. Truly was raised by an amazing village as you can feel the love everyone has for each other.
At my wedding I gave my best friend a first dance with her husband who had just survived colon cancer, as they eloped as teenagers and didn’t have a first dance.
