Cool.i enjoy panning but never found silver. Founds lots of garnets once. That piece of silver looked like a head of a weasel. Congrats, nice score. 🌷🇨🇦
Wooow, nice win ❤ Found your channel yesterday and just love watching your life in remote Alaska. Best wishes from Northern part of Sweden, Örnsköldsvik ❤
I don’t know how I didn’t see you tagged me in the video. Great video as well. Congratulations on the win again. I wish I could go up to Alaska and found some of that gold people found. That’s a lot. I’m glad you had fun going through it.
I had a blast panning that one one John. The silver in it was amazing. I sent the big flakes and some of the silver to my buddy back in Fl that sent me up the gold cube I have. Thanks again for the GAW.
I think I would be inclined to re pan all the waste. That Bach was so rich I bet there are one or two or maybe more bits that escaped! You’re right the silver is very beautiful.
Hello there, Ytube recommended your channel I started with the winter supply run video (great content). Here next video is John R prospecting. I watched the same live video when you won that bag. Pretty cool!
Hey Tony. yes it was a nice pan. Hope you guys are doing good. When winter gets here I will get caught up on your vids. I have been slacking as I have been non stop doing things and now we are in moose season.
Look out you gunna give us all a case of gold fever. That silver is amazing under the scope real pretty. I live not far from 2 big gold mining towns. Lots of crown land around them so maybe I should go for a scratch about…🤔
I enjoyed this video great win . I loved the silver yes it’s beautiful. How much do you think the gold is worth? And do sell the silver or keep it? Either way you did a good job at panning it. New to your channel and enjoying it🎉
I sent a good a good friend some of the silver and the larger flakes. The rest i will hang on to. the silver had some wild paterns in it. Welcome and hope you enjoy our past and future videos.
Fun fact: first good found in America was found by Conrad reed in North Carolina right down rd from me and was a 17 pound nugget in 1799… love the content hope to move there one day.. also Conrad didn’t know at first what he had and used the nugget as a door stop and in 1809 a jeweler gave him $3.50 for then later he partnered with someone and opened Reeds gold mine. Which is open to the public for tours to this day
I believe I have been on that tour. My sister lives in NC and I have traveled around it a bit over the years rock hounding. :-). Thank you for stopping and watching.
Panning is fun. I recently found all of the gold I kept from the years of giving panning demos at Gold Dredge 8 in Fairbanks. I need to put it in a vial instead of the film canister it's all in currently.

I am pretty sure John sells bags
That was cool! How much does gold go for now? We panned for gold as a kid here in Arizona
Gold is over $2,500 an oz right now. I did it as a kid but never found a lot up in NH. I love doing it. it is relazxing.
Mantis
Looks like some kind of lizzard. Lol
that is what I was thinking. Like snake or dragon.
Looks like a dried out sardine
I wish RUclips would leave our numbers alone. Trying to seal this friendship. Only way I can find gold is by pay dirt.
What area are you in? Most states have gold.
@@curmudgeinnak I'm close to Fort Knox, Kentucky.
@@michaelsadventures4261 ooh gold can be found in that area, 🙂 Just have to find the right creeks.
Know nothing about this about how much was that worth?
abouyt $135 with todays gold prices.
That was a fish head with bonus spine.
Tasty 😋
