North Madisons 1946 Mack Type 45 Fire Engine

These type 45 Mack fire apparatus are quite common and are a great truck to own because they are economical and fit in a moderate sized garage. This one is owned by the North Madison Fire Department in Connecticut and is the first custom built fire engine they ever purchased. We were happy to have it in the shop and were able to repair a ton of stuff for them and get it back on the road mechanically for them. In the near future we hope to go through and cosmetically restore the truck and make a few more minor mechanical repairs before their 100th anniversary in 2025. Enjoy!
