Awesome beautiful trucks. I've been a firefighter for 38 years paid and volunteer and I still love the old engines. Thank you so much for the great video.

Something that needs to be said.
ALF and its cross town rival Ward LaFrance both started in Elmira, NY. For over 95% of its long history trucks were produced in Elmira and only there. Elmira was known as the fire engine capital of America at one time. I know this because I'm from Elmira, my dad was a delivery engineer for WLF but spent time at ALF when Ward was on strike (sole breadwinner).
So with all due respect to SC and all these dedicated workers, any museum rightly belongs in Elmira NY and only that would complete the journey home.

    Kojak:
    OHH YOU-little...
    HEY!
You’re about this close to being kicked in the bazooki- which will prevent you contaminating
Planet Earth when you get older!

Those are really awesome looking rigs. The old fire engines looked a hole lot better than what they make now. Today's fire engines have no style and no charm to them.

Those engines should be in Elmira NY where American La France originated...proud ex employee lied to and betrayed by Figgie and his henchmen on deserting union workers

Modern fire trucks are ugly and charavter-less. I love ALF fire engines of the past. This was quite a trip.

Modern engines aren’t really ugly gentlemen - they are UTILITARIAN in design- their style is FUNCTION- you have to get
      With the times old
