- Join along as we give the new to use mower a try while trying to clean up the farm. With a successful 1st run on the mower it's a rewarding feeling to see it all coming together. Then off to get coen wrapped up or so we hope. With some break downs and lack of sleep we are forces to go much longer then it should of taken. The rain gets to use before we are done but we push it through. Thanks for watching along.
Wow Duffy that’s great that you’re so famous that another RUclipsr is giving you free advertisement. Thanks for all your Content you’re the only one that has to prove of your operation because there’s so many variables and problems solving all day
Mower is going to be a nice addition to the farm!
Hey Chris, you mentioned in this video that you parts chopper came from Moncton New Brunswick. I live 20 minutes west of Moncton in the small village of Petitcodiac. Love watching all your videos. Keep up the good work. If you ever back in the area again, would love to meet you in person. Stay safe and no more rain. LOL
Looking good.
We use a grinder to sharpen the blades on the mower will lift it up with the tractor and sharpen works ok. Maybe that'll help
For some correction it’s Moncton, New Brunswick which is in Canada.🇨🇦✝️🙌🙏👍 have a righteous day Duffy. Eh
Greetings everyone from North Korea I want to wish everyone who celebrates a Happy Father's Day.
Morning Duff. Thanks again for great viewing and keep up the great work you are achieving 😊
Duffy, keep building the brand.
Stay strong, go carnivore and enjoy the process of building your business.
Norman and Yenko for the win.
I know of a person who is miserable all the time, so I asked my smart Son why do good people die young, and miserable people live to be 100, he said they aren't good enough for God, and to bad for the devil, and therefore they have no place to go, so they have to hang around because they don't have anywhere to go and make everybody else miserable! Spent many hours late out in the fields, my Sweet Wife would bring me eats, And if it was hot out, she would bring a cold washcloth with her and wipe my face to help cool me off, and of course I'd stop and we'd have a picnic under the trees! God Bless her, she always looked after me! Sometimes she would spend a few hours on the tractor with me! We didn't have cabs back in the day!
That's like my ex wife she doesn't have to worry about the devil in hell when she dies , she'll drive him to unalive himself in the first three days then she'll get to torture everyone that's there.
Could you put that old gravity box on the new running gear you where given
It's approx 9PM on Saturday night. I'm not sure you'll post tomorrow so I wanted to wish you a Happy Father's Day buddy!
Use a chain as a top link - allows the flexibility of the mower to float when mowing backwards
Wanted say Exactly the same thing. Especially with that support wheel at the back side
Happy Father's day Chris, just in case you don't post tomorrow. Take a break and enjoy some time with your daughter if possible.
All the time you waste on take out you would of been done long ago . Efficient you tube farming . 😂
It’s the everyday mundane ordinary things that are enjoyable to watch.
Chris yanko is a wonderful dog my friend, corn going in the ground is good keep that planter together and get it done my friend, keep going and be happy that the farm is going .
I found when it comes to building PTO shaft where I live tractor supply it’s been the cheapest place and they normally have every piece you need on hand and if the one store don’t have it, they will call another store and go get it for you if necessary and deliver something newly started this year at tractor supply policy of all stores
So I'm just curious would it be hard for you to add a playlist I love watching your videos I'm a third-generation farmer
Can't believe some meal company hasn't reached out like Factor meals
How has the camera on the barn been working? I’ve been thinking of trying one out but wanted to see how it’s been working out for you. Keep doing your thing man, piss on the haters. Been watching you for a few years now and I can’t wait to see you go big time and let all the haters eat sh.t!
When you do 97% of the work alone, why stop to go and cook everyday? I’d make a bigger portion and eat on it for 3 days. So you only cook a couple times a day and bagel n cream cheese is simple breakfast.
But I don’t live your life and if your want to order out that’s on you:
You’re just starting out, so older equipment is what you’ll use. But soon as you can I’d upgrade stuff. Yes all equipment breaks, but you do seem to have more than normal.
I’ll be here since you’re a hard worker and enjoy your content!
Great job cris oh and try ag1 it a good source of vitamins and stuff your body needs when you can't get regular meals
Another great video, hope you get some sleep.
Don’t worry about it don’t worry about changing the oil if the sun and blades spin makes sure she’s full and let her fly. I bought one just like that never changed the oil but still five years later was it when it worked I painted it and my God I can hit big rocks with it and she’s about retired now maybe because they make welders.
I hear a little different but a new one in 2001 I’ll be able to change the oil but I change a blade at the time broken. I run over everything keep trying to gain more land that’s farming. letter Rip .
The heat is coming....trust me. 93° Tomorrow then 97° on Monday. Everyday next week 91° and above. That is only a couple days west away from you, so it's coming.
Soak some rags in white vinegar and place them around your garden It should keep the critters out
Your doing good.
You seriously couldnt move tree branch by hand omg
Great job Chris4 acres left better then you had buddy you got what you could well done.
to update/upgrade the garden plots if you like: find/get/make some boxes that are about 24" tall by about 4 feet by 8. scrap wood, sheet metal, plastic panels or whatever. Cut 6 inches into the ground, sink the boxes about 3 of those into the hole and fill the bottom 10 inches with a mix of woodchip and soil at about 50/50 (don't use pine/conifer/evergreen but chipped brush is ok!) top em off with some sand and muck from a muddy corner of a field. Run any posts, lines, etc from outside the box in. It makes a hell of a difference. The channels I watch are *Self Sufficient Me* and *Red Gardens* Red does stuff on more than a hobby garden scale but everything they do is hand n shovel level work and Sufficient is where you'll get the most usefull info. Red is dead honest and its been tough going for them like losing 2 tons of carrots to flies for an experiment, based in Ireland on bad soil they constantly have to improve.
Who is the “other” RUclipsr?
Thr grumpy
@@svthorasailing4868 never heard of them… honestly.
@@lanlantheman The channel is The Grumpy Farmer. A more realistic view of day to day operations of a real farm.
Tip I learn the hard way is make sure you have the right grade of bolt for the that hooks up to the gear box. I put a higher grade in by accident and it wrecked a cog on the pto gear for the tractor when i hit a large stone.
Mechanic down the road broke teeth in his transmission for the PTO. It can be a pain but I keep alot of extra shear bolts on hand and shred small trees. But I gain acres
@@andyzumwalt3632 yep my lesson learned was buy the correct shear pin and have a lot on hand :)
fix the combine trans
I like your attitude- just go for it, Lifes an adventure, enjoy the ride
One garden tip if u have snail problem and grind corn put it around raised bed on dirt that Will kill snail and its good until rain. And on mower remove that joyce and put chain to have better floation
That's all that matters.
Looking good with the new mower.
Use a chuck of log chain
I found when it comes to building PTO shaft where I live tractor supply it’s been the cheapest place and they normally have every piece you need on hand and if the one store don’t have it, they will call another store and go get it for you if necessary and deliver something newly started this year at tractor supply policy of all stores
To bad they support the Alphabet Soup Group
Every once n a while when planting You have to "mud in" a few acres to finish. Not every year , But sometimes you have to...As always keep digging Chris.
😊😊😊😊😊
Gots lots to learn , you should of been planted along time ago. Doesn’t need to be powder dry to plane . 😂
Glad you finished up planting. I know sometimes it’s tough to skip a meal but occasionally it’s worth it, especially when the rain is coming. And working with a lack of sleep at some point becomes pretty dangerous. Be careful out there, buddy love the channel!
Happy Father’s Day to you.
Weather is still a massive challenge this year here in north west uk where I farm, maize crops struggling and also grass growth is awful. Like you we need a settled warm spell of weather to give crops a chance.
spike closing wheels might help in that wet heavy ground. You can't cure to wet but use a few tools to make less than desirable a manageable situation. I like plastic vs. cast
Put some sweet corn in them unplanted spots. Definitely makes your place look nicer .
Yenko and his tennis balls 😂
You have to be the rain capitol
this year. Just hope you get some this summer.
Love watching you my wife is from Plattsburgh went cobolscho
Mr Grumpy is only mentioning you to get views on his channel, you mentioning him helps him out
The shaft in them JD brush hogs are vary expensive, 700 - 800 bucks from deere for that little shaft
Chris, instead of a toplink, use a large hole chain. It holds in tension but if you start to climb a hill it will allow the mower to come in closer to the tractor and not push it in the ground.
Hi Duffy a little something the gear box on your mower when you put new oil in, pump in some corn head grease,it helps the seal in the bottom of the gear box , have done that for years and never had a seal leak on my bush hog
Nice job Chris things go as they go. A little rain comes a little rest and time to repair things. Have a good day. See you then.
Honestly, i have been "mad" at you, i have been happy for you and i have been mildly "shocked" about you over the last years....but at the end i am NOTHING but impressed ! Your way of fixing things, get going no matter what and your ability to get strength to carry on is nothing but amazing! Out of maybe 10 things i hope for in my life, is that you have 100% success in yours!
You need a flail mower. I got one a few years ago, Worth the money!
Hey Chris, everybody might give you a hard time including me, but we love you. You might not have farm to perfection, but you do have making it
on a dime that tells a lot about a man. Fuck them they probably have a woman cooking for them. Single man tend to eat out or we will starve or eat the wrong shit. Either way keep going, bud. Take my criticism as a plus. I have a 30 acre farm in Massachusetts so you know exactly what I’m going through. I don’t rely on it so it works perfect for me.
had to get my bush hog to one side of tractor to get right close to one tire I spun one three point all the way out and the other all the way in which makes it to one side so you had to go in one direction to get close to one side
Know where you you are love you and watching and keep going
And your in a good spot
good going!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Can anyone send you a gas pump for the liquid fertilizer or do you have a specific brand and size you require??
Duffy you need a transfer pump for liquid fertilizer
Hey Chris use your angle grinder to put an edge on those mower blades.
The struggle is real.
Great video
Man i swear everything u own brakes 18 times
A day in the life would be awesome!
Good job on the mower, anything is an improvement over nothing !
Cant buy a good push mower for 400 bucks!
The rain just won't stop here to in Wisconsin
Oh he’s only telling the truth and I know who you’re talking about and he’s a good guy
Persistent man👍👍👍
You’re a startup farmer, but you’re not you’ve been farming back even when you’re at your parents, but you know don’t take much to make your own meals my God I’m just like you nobody in my life, but the cook meal was them little toaster oven. Don’t take much cleanup because you got the right utensil that go in the garbage.
Tip your Fert tote up.see if you can get more out.
If he cooks like he farms it wouldn’t be fit to eat
Don’t be a dick.
you jus keep on keepin on Duffy !
🚜🌾
Measure ❤😮
Oh he’s only telling the truth and I know who you’re talking about and he’s a good guy oh I would’ve rather worked on a lawnmower to get my grass cut instead of a brush hog but I understand you’re so busy
🌶💩 up
From what I've seen, Mr. Miserable fancies himself more of an amateur political correspondent than a farmer, as far as Duff goes you know you're doing something right when strangers start flappin their gums.
What ever happened to Robert?
Got fired.
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Happy first Father’s Day to you Chris.
You must spend more time fixing your junk than farming .
Welcome to the Duffy Ag Clown show. But we love watching you do what you do and making it happen GO DUFFY👍

When he farmed with his family it was a group effort so he had more time to make better meals. When you're on your own trying to do everything cooking becomes very secondary.
I’ve been in his shoes. I know how it is. That’s why I went to a little oven paper plates, plastic spoons because I realize my meals were cheaper than eating out every time and penny to me counted. That’s what I’m trying to say.
Hey, great video and a Happy first Fathers Day to you!
If that guy couldn't make money milking cows in New Brunswick he didnt know what he was doing. Lol my brother is milking 75 cows 3x a day in Nova Scotia Canada and averaging 95 pounds per cow per day with a 4.2% butterfat and his milk check is about the same as the average American dairy thats milking 200-250 cows. His per liter price averges about $0.87 which is about $40 a hundred weight so about double what American dairies are getting by volume and his production per cow is well above the American average.
must be a miracle worker.
You wear me out watching you work that many hours ! Hope you got some rest with the rain .
Nice video get some rest
Iam wondering if you will brake something or have a excuse to go to town for lunch ? Lol I watch all videosthat's how I no
i
Just a little tip to get you by when you don't have the fuses...Get a ground wire the same size of the fuse ..I just cut it to fit...it will work..I have done this on a zones board on a heating system ..never replaced a fuse again.. ..
It's no wonder Americans refer to live as hot.
I'm by no means an expert when it comes to gardening and I realize you are limited on space but you might want to spread the distance out on your Pepper and Tomato Plants. They seem kinda close together and that may stunt their growth once their roots spread out and the plants start seeking out nutrients from the soil. Also you could plant a few Pumpkin Plants so when they're ready for picking the boys in the barn would really enjoy them for a healthy treat. (Just a thought).
And as a RUclipsr, I don’t give a shit who you are you oughta comment or heart peoples comments and you can’t ever use the excuse. You’re too busy but doing this will get you more viewers, subscribers, and my man name Andy and you know she least does that if not come, come on man. If you read them then you could least do this. I wouldn’t be here watching your videos. I don’t like, but least you could. But you gotta show appreciation back to people my man slow down and take a minute. You only live once make it the best and don’t worry about ever becoming the biggest parlor. Worry about making a living
Everything doesn't require a response. Seriously if you so desperately need interaction with people go get a couple friends IRL.
Is English your second language? If not, read your comment again and edit it so it makes sense. I read it like 5 times and I only understood half of what you are talking about…
@@kyleblair4764it's definitely not English. American maybe it's kind of similar.
