Having engineering plans without metal framing details is insane to me. That frame was hella complicated. Been using AEG for my mechanical trade for years now and they are solid. Not a fan of Bunnings being the only distributor though. EDIT: Never heard of TKD - Will check them out.
I run all aeg gear though mainly.. the aeg battery saw isn't the best.. shit hand position.. the design of the hikoki is far more comfortable to use.. besides that everything is mostly good.. been using it for the last few years
Im waiting for the new paslode gun with bumpfire. I just dont see the sense in using anything else as it stands. These battery guns are too heavy and ergonomics are terrible. Us tradies work hard as is, why work harder with rubbish gear?
All the paslode has going for it is being lighter that’s about it. No more or less reliable, it struggles going through lvl and hardwood, servicing is a pain in the arse as is the cost of the gas canisters over time.
Nah man i just dont agree with that. Everything about the paslode is superior apart from lvl performance, so i got hikoki for that job only. New paslode meant to be able to work with lvl and get bumpfire, so that will mean i can drop to just 1 gun in my van. Cant wait.
I think the issue is that each has their own job. Nothing will ever truly beat a paslode for working on the roof. But at the same time. A battery gun, gasless. Is a valuable asset to ensure you always have a cordless gun that isn't going to run out of gas at the worst possible time. And milwaukee framer replaced completely air guns for flooring. And shooting straight down it ain't that bad
AEG ROCKS🫵🫵 I got the whole AEG setup and its the best.. Best quality/Value 4 money and power Kicks Pasload's Ass & all the others No gas cannisters, you batteries last for ages and compressed free air..!!!
That's some advanced framing nice job
Good onya mate, I’m a plumber and I’m loving the vids!

Cheers mate!

Not any more 😉
@@DaveDoesCarpentryI spoke too soon mate! Jinxed us
Love your videos! I'm an engineering student who was tossing up doing carpentry for a while and get a real kick out of it.
What are your go to framing nails as well? Do you use hot dip galvanised for this kind of framing?
Amazing video again! Where abouts in Australia you from?
Melbourne I believe from the suburbs he mentioned in the previous videos
whadya reckon for nail guns? disregarding gas costing more im leaning towards the paslode brad & framer kit
Subfloor etc and framing yeah.. roofing id still go the paslode
It’s strange not understanding the terms in your country. I’ve been building for 15 years now
