  • In this video I unbox AEG's battery frame and 6 piece combo kit, and take it to site with me to review the tools as I use them for the first time.
    Big thankyou to AEG for sending me these tools (#ad)
    Even with AEG gifting me these tools, I still am going to be critical in reviewing these tools on site.

    I rate all my aeg stuff had it now for 5 years being a mechanical plumber and have cut out loads of 150 steel pipe with that sawzall with a 9amp on it. Best part about aeg is you can forget to pack them up on site and come back to them the next day haha and thats on big hospital jobs and all

    Have 6ah batteries 10 years now, 5 of them. Still going great. Purchased this kit 10 years ago minus the multi tool. Never stopped.

    Hey mate, really enjoying your content. Thank you for the great videos.
    I especially liked the old videos where you flipped furniture and showed how to make stairs, plus also your curved seating area in the backyard. Would love to see more of that DIY style content

    AEG is just a sub company of TTI (who owns Ryobi, Milwaukee and Rigid) so I am pretty sure these tools are rebranded Rigid stuff.

    Orbital mode is to make it go faster not for a cleaner cut

    took me a little longer than it should've to realize that AEG is Ridgid's Australian brand.... Recognized several tools I have but with different lettering lol

    Are you gonna make a full time switch to aeg froam dewalt?
    Curious as i have most dewalt tools but here its $2000 for a full aeg set with that nail gun on redemption, dewalt you only get half of the for that price

    Genuinely curious what the difference is to the Ryobi one as they're both from TTI and look like they have the exact same shape.

      @johnnysmovies 4 месяца назад

      I'm not too sure if they actually do have the exact same shape, perhaps a similar shape. The build is quite different as with the quality, check out some comparison videos that compare AEG with Ryobi, you start to see the differences. You probably know, TTI also makes Milwaukee.

      @@johnthumble5154 I like both.. was just correcting incorrect information in the video there are downside to the Milwaukee as well but if you want to blow smoke up there arse feel free

      Didn't realise I was doing a full review in the comments ... The Milwaukee is an ok gun it is certainly a touch more powerful but how much power do you need it's like saying my jigsaw is more powerful then yours once the nails are in there in.. my work mate has a Milwaukee.. you can't even put it down on its head you hafto lay that ugly thing down on its side there are positives and negatives to all tools..I was simply correcting some incorrect information in the video

    Is it just a rebranded ridgid tool

    • @johnnysmovies
      @johnnysmovies 4 месяца назад +2

      You could equally say Rigid is just a rebranded AEG tool.

    Multi tool looked seriously underpowered. The circular saw looks horrible, and right hand blade is awful! Left hand blade always

    • @alexw20
      @alexw20 5 месяцев назад

      I think the tooth count on that blade was too high/fine for cutting timber

    • @nakedapprentice
      @nakedapprentice 5 месяцев назад +5

      Left or right is a matter of opinion. Personally, I’d prefer having the majority of sole plate resting on the workpiece I’m cutting rather than the tiny bit in the other side.

    • @mukoshh
      @mukoshh 4 месяца назад

      1. I have the multi tool, it’s not underpowered
      2. Circ saw visual is literally just opinion. It’s a powerhouse.
      3. LITERALLY just preference, anyone who works with tools knows this. AND they sell both options anyways lmao.

    All the framing guns that arnt paslode are incredibly heavy! Have heaps of power but wearing that weight all day in a roof with and impact driver and a belt full of nails and batten screws weighs heavy! The best AEG is the og gear from years back when I believe it was actually German

    • @denobudimir2580

      I have a blue electric AEG hammer drill from the 80’s, says made in West Germany, so you are correct.
