I’ve been natural for a year and 3 months. I started from very short hair because I used to rock haircuts before I decided to start my natural hair journey and trust me when I say that though I’m a new natural, I don’t do heat. I once or twice attempted to blow dry my hair when I was braiding it but I stopped without finishing because I was feeling sorry for my hair even though I had used heat protectant.😂😂 So I completely avoided heat and just braided my hair, I got away with it because my hair was still waaaaay short. Now that I’ve got some length, I also prefer stretching my hair a day before I braid it and that was the best decision ever. I do my own hair ever since I began my natural hair journey so braiding it when it’s stretched is the easiest and less time consuming. Thank you for this video. I have been a subscriber for some months now but this is my first time replying. I just love how you showed people that our hair can still stretch without using heat and it’s actually faster than blow drying. I hardly see videos like this one because most people use heat protectant and blow dry their hair so I am extremely happy to see somebody who stretch their hair like me. I do the braiding/twisting methods and I don’t see myself using heat anytime soon. Lovely video. Thank you.❤️❤️
Thanks for commenting dear, and welcome to the channel, and you’re right stretching it a day before actually helps when it come to braiding, I sometimes leave mine a bit longer.
I wish I can post my hair here for you guys to see I use the thread every month for hair growth and it really good stretch out is so lovely and it ☺ oh am I the only one obsessed with my hair🤣🤣🤣🤣
Trust me, you are not the only one who is obsessed with their hair. I am also like that. I just love how both my washday routine, my moisturizing routine and my hair products are working for me. My hair is still short but not too short. I am a new natural but I’m obsessed with it and how it listens to me.😂😂😂😂🙈🙈
I started threading my hair two months ago for that stretched look and I like it. I cannot use blow dryer because I spritz my hair daily with aloe Vera juice or water so it would be a waste to heat stretch my hair.
Is the thread wool? Would silk thread be better for hair? Do you apply any type of leave in conditioner or oil? I don't want to dry out my high porosity hair. It breaks easily and I can't retain length. Also, what is your hair's porosity? Thank you for help and great tips..
Beautiful methods! I have tried them all and banding it was fun, but difficult. I loved the way it looked so I rocked it to the store and got compliments lol might have to do it again, great results on all methods by the way!💪🏽😇☝🏽☝🏽☝🏽
Heat damage is no fun and we definitely want to avoid that at all cost, thank you girl also I like ur nails
Honestly it’s no joke, my sis got it and she went natural immediately and thank you so much

I have used most of these methods in the past. It stretches but once I get outside and the wind blows on it, it shrinks back in 20-25 mins.
I mostly use these method when I want to make my hair or style it
Do you use products with a lot of glycerin? It could be the culprit of shrunken hair.

What do you use for your hair?....i love it
Mostly natural hair remedies
How long can I stay with those tread?? I had them for a week and half and they dry my hair so bad
If it’s just for stretching out your hair, overnight or 24 hours is ok
Try using satin ribbons instead of thread
Are rubber bands good to use when stretching out hair
Not rubber bands dear, hair bands or elastic bands that stretches
Naya whats your pink brush called iv bought one its dragging my hair out is yours from amizo?
