My theory about Kendrix's return is remember her spirit lies in Karone's Quasar saber and her spirit has been released among where everything has been restored.
If I had to assign one overarching theme to Lost Galaxy, It'd be 'Blame and Forgiveness'. Leo and Karone are able to forgive themselves for their past mistakes and it allows them to achieve victory. Trakeena by contrast is so set on carrying out her vengeance that it costs her her sanity and her life. It's a great moral for kids and the show isn't at all anvilicious about it.
I'm not sure why but I always liked the idea when I was a kid that little girl mistook him for a cool new power ranger, probably cuz I kind of thought he looked like one
"Does everyone in KO-35 have magical tears" Maybe everyone in KO-35 was affected by the magical flower from Tangled, it would explain why they're all blonde LOL
Fun fact: did you know captain mutiny was originally going to be the main villain of lost galaxy, but do to the costume being used in a cross over at the time he was replaced by trekena
The Loyax episode also points out a key difference between him and the Galaxy Rangers. The Galaxy Rangers, when the fight for good vs. evil was over, returned their swords to the stones they had been pulled from. It's a symbolic gesture about knowing when to be a soldier and when to return to civilian life. Loyax was a good soldier who did not give up his weapon and let his fighting spirit become him and he lost sight of why he was fighting, just that fighting gave him purpose. That is really the only difference between him and the Rangers.
Trakeena was my favorite villain of the Power Rangers shows I saw, she had her human qualities to be sure, but it was fun watching how her desire for vengeance consumed her and warped her, both literally and figuratively, into a being far removed from the villain she started out as. I especially loved the ending fight between her and the Galaxy Rangers, as not only did she not transform into a giant version of herself, it took everything the Galaxy Rangers had to defeat her, and even then they just barely managed at the cost of their Red Rangers Battalizer as well as many of their other gadgets. The only one who came close to being that compelling was the villain from TIme Force.
Another thing, the pirate guy in this season? Yeah, he was actually the villain in Gingaman and the orange pirate foot soldiers were the main mooks of that season.

Linkara is awesome. Watching this video inspired me to take up watching Lost Galaxy, and it's definitely now in my top 3 favorite seasons watch of PR now.
I like the idea of this season that the powers and zords, despite being living space creatures that turn into robots SOMEHOW, are actually sentient compared to the other seasons. Even with Wild Force I never really felt that the zords were actually living creatures.

Just finished watching this season and I gotta say it's still a pretty good follow-up to Power Rangers in Space. Probably wasn't the best way to start the "Post-Zordon"-era of Power Rangers, but it was still a pretty decent attempt to make this season a standalone show. Now Lightspeed Rescue on the other hand......*THAT* is a standalone season.
Yes re-watching because this is an awesome show, plus the re-watch helps me get throw episodes of Power Rangers as I am watching the series. Really wish Cassie takes Kendrix's place as the new Pink Lost Galaxy Ranger, would've made the season even more awesome with past rangers becoming new ones
Yet by 2014, we had a season of Power Rangers - one that supposed to celebrate the franchise's 20th Anniversary but miraculously failed - where a mass fleet of Armada Warships and it's army attack earth but to have that team of Rangers haphazardly overcome their alien invasion so damn easily like they were nothing. Super Megaforce in a nutshell.
An awesome show. It was supposed to get a 2nd season called Mystic Knights: Battle Thunder but got scrapped due to more of a focus on Power Rangers despite the fact The Mystic Knights of Tir Na Nog when it was on actually equaled Power Rangers in ratings meaning it was just as popular as Power Rangers. According to what was later on revealed about Battle Thunder part of the season would've been our four main protagonists gaining a new power-up state via the Battle Thunder Armor upgrade, with the Knight of Fire gaining his ultimate power-up in the proposed multi-part finale to Battle Thunder dubbed "Fire Dragon King Mode" aka the Battlizer: Mystic Knights version along with the multi-part finale for Battle Thunder tying up some loose ends aka plot-points brought up in Mystic Knights of Tir Na Nog and for the most part forgotten about after they're initially revealed including the one that should've been a major side-story arc that being the search for the Knight of Fire's parents who went missing when he was a baby and how it explains how his go to signature weapon is the Sword of Kells a weapon that can only be used by the true heir to the throne, and his connection to the lead villainess of Mystic Knights well the finale of Battle Thunder would've revealed that the Knight of Fire's parents were the King of Kells, and the lead villainess making him the true heir to the throne and the older half brother to the Princess of Kells who was also part of the team as the Knight of Wind, and while yes it looked liked they were going to be a couple they broke it off midway through Mystic Knights due to the Knight of Fire seeing the Knight of Wind as more of a kid sister and not a love interest which was call she respected.
A couple things I noticed having just last night finished re-watching the series: * how much of Trachena really came out of the cocoon? I mean it's (mostly) her body, but her voice and personality are much more like Deviot. * Villamax isn't evil. Yes he allied with Trachena but he seemed to be trying to give her a purpose and instill a sense of honor in her. Also he doesn't ever act as malicious as the other villains and even seems disgusted by their more heinous actions. In D&D terms he seems more lawful neutral, possibly leaning to evil but never actually crossing the line
Villamax was like a Professional Bounty hunter and coach who followed Trakeena out of loyaness and Only wanted her to have her revenge on the red Ranger and or the rangers in general. His friend Kegler wasn't Even that Evil. The most evil thing Kegler did was building the láser that would have killed the galáctic beasts

Maybe it's because the Power for the Power Rangers is connected with "inhuman" powers to survive space, except for the innocence. (Then again, what else could explain the training part in the first episode confuses me too...)
Wait till his upcoming redo of HOPR for it for RUclips sometime maybe way later this year because knowing Linkara, he's very busy with so many other projects.
20:54 Wait, what? I don't get it, Vilamax knows full well that Trikeena is only behaving like this because Deviot forced her into the cocoon and they fused together. Why is he acting like she's betrayed him when it's really because she's not the original Trikeena anymore?
It could be also implied that Deviot's personality and traits begin to dominate over Trakeena's own personality. And yes, I'd rather have Vilamax come up to the realization that this isn't the same Trakeena he used to know and train, but rather it's Deviot at the driver's seat in Trakeena's body, and Vilamax has no choice but to attack her. But still the combined strength after the cocoon transformation is too much for Vilamax and gets killed.
Interesting that both Lost Galaxy and Wild Force has major battles against evil 3,000 years ago. I like to think this was the same battle just on different fronts (like in Countdown to Destruction). Of course, the similarities between the Galaxy Rangers and Wild Force Rangers is clear; blade weapons as main sidearms and animal zords which could possibly point to a connection between the two maybe even a distant relationship. It always bothered me that no one seems to give a shit that the Stratoforce and Centaurus Megazord are destroyed. I mean, these aren’t just robots like in other seasons, they’re living beings like the other Galactabeats, albeit modified by Deviot. They died protecting Terra Venture and no one says much. Toro Zord too. Also what happens to Zenith now that it has nothing to carry? Does it just go hang out with Dragonzord, Titanus, Tor and Zeo Zords in the forgotten Zord garage?
Something that I'm surprised Linkara didn't point out, as he points out several of the plot holes, is that in the final episode, there isn't any acknowledgment that Terra Venture had picked up more people from the lost galaxy. I guess we could say that those people were dropped off somewhere, but we don't find out what happens to them or if they joined in with the colony. Having said that, the more I watch Power Rangers Lost Galaxy, the more I like it. I actually really like the story arc in the lost galaxy itself. The clip show and the ones with Hexuba weren't anything special, but that portion began and ended really well. I think Escape the Lost Galaxy was a fantastic episode, and it had a story somewhat reminiscent of the Book of Exodus or some of the modern African-American legends.
I guess that Kendrix was a name made up for the show. Cause it sounds futuristic. (LOL I was wrong, as ya can see in the comments below. I bet the writers and the rest of the production crew thought the name sounded futuristic when it actually isn't.)
Had I not lost interest after Power Rangers in Space, I might have been interested in watching Lost Galaxy, as it definitely feels like a follow up to in Space. I think that about at the time Power Rangers in Space was ending I was getting to the age where one loses interest in this franchise. I feel like these documentary style videos are more entertaining than the series itself now.
That's how I felt also. I was 10 when Lost Galaxy debuted. At the time something just felt off and I was ready to move on from Power Rangers. I think I would have enjoyed Lost Galaxy, but would still have moved on.
While I doubt it was ever shown, Linkara, Maya's behavior comes off as either bad writing or a facade. Fictional franchises love to have someone who hides pain with convincing cheerfulness. Higurashi/Umineko no Naku Koro ni and Haruhi are also Japanese franchises. Anime with Stepford smilers.
I disagree with Linkara about the functionality of the feet gear of the battalizer. clearly the user needs a way to balance all the extra weight, so adding such massive feet components should help stabalize all the torso armor.
I wish Linkara wasn't so hard on what they tried to do with Gingaman. The Lost Galaxy episodes are great because they actually are using the Sentai main villain.
I wish Kendrix would just stay dead and stop popping up all the time. Clearly Saban has a problem with the words, "dead, death, die, died, deceased" etc. She comes off more like some incorporeal being on a path to ascension or some bullshit when really this could have been an excellent opportunity to show that Rangers can die in battle and that when you're dead you stay dead, dead, deadski.
Though one has to wonder how did Karone had gotten the outfit to pose ad Astronema and had gotten to Onyx due to her going to Earth at the end of In Space? And how did she knew about what had happened in the team-up episodes if she was on Earth? And where is Zhane?
I believe Karone had that outfit just in case she Ever need to Bluff her way out without fightning. Maybe between In Space's finale and ver appearance in Lost Galaxy, Karone went on her own is a "Journey to Discovery herself / atonement Trip". Also Maybe find out where the Psycho Data Cards were left. And in the process heard of what Psycho Pink did to the Current Pink Ranger. Zane is probably somewhere else playing solo Space Hero (or Maybe teamed up With Phantom Ranger and Blue Senturion) or Maybe looking for a way to repair the Mega Vehicles, Delta Megazord and the Mega Winger
There were like 3 times in MMPR season 2 where I was hoping the Dairanger suits would show up. 1st time was when Lord Zedd was announcing his dark rangers, the second time was when White Light happen, and the third time was when Jason, Trini, and Zack left. Having Rocky, Adam, and Aisha debut with new suits would had been awesome.
Here is my theory for Kendrix. The fact that she was destroyed while morphed so she was still connected to the Morphing Grid. So when she destroys the Savage Sword she is converted into Grid Energy. When the Quasar Sabers are returned to the stone the process is reversed. While Kendrix is finally returned to human form.
However in that 2 parter episode of Light Speed Rescue (Trakeena’s Revenge) Trakeena survived but was injured. She headed for Earth, with the help of Tri Skull and the Ghouls, they captured innocent people in order to steal their life energy so she could re-mutate into that green beast again.
Am I the only here who actually wished that Kendrix had just stayed dead in the series?!?! I mean, no offense to Valerie Vernon making a speedy recovery from her lukemia surgery and major kudos to her for that. But, c'mon!!!! It just felt like a real bummer that Karone got sideline after that moment in the finale. She really did stood out as an excellent replacement and I actually did felt more sympathetic for her character throughout the series.
@@VOAN I personally want to believe Kendrix was in the Lightspeed Crossover as a "one last job" With the team to deal With Trakeena while Karone and Mike stayed in Mirinoi BUT After that Kendrix fully passed the power to Karone
You know I just realized something 4 years in a row the main villain was female Turbo: divatox In space: astronoma Lost galaxy: trakeena Light speed rescue: queen bansheera I mean they were great (except for divatox she sucked) its just something I’ve now noticed

tresrules16543 That doesn't explain why Karone was on another planet either? They must have kept in touch with KO-35 and they must have had working space crafts, something which Linkara didn't think about.
Me too for the most part. However, Zhane's actor Justin Nimmo was unavailable. Coincidentally, Zhane's Japanese counterpart was not in the Seijuu Sentai Gingaman vs Megaranger team-up either.
Well thing is it's two against one and a I forget the big bad's name that's the lava Giant what is his name dark specter isn't around for the psycho rangers to get power from for one and two wouldn't the power rangers space you know do you think they wouldn't train especially Andrews also having a full team of rangers where they don't know their fighting skills and you know you got there almost ranger there also that's a lot and instead of compensating for that adding more warriors for the psychos and realizing that you need one for each ranger they didn't it was a great filler exciting episode and I loved it as a kid I loved it when it aired but now it just seems to be lacking now that I know certain things
When he found his brother floating in space all they had to do is add a bit of energy around him static morph you could say that was protecting him long enough which how can morphine provide oxygen?

Power Rangers logic
Maybe it's because the Power for the Power Rangers is connected with "inhuman" powers to survive space, except for the innocence.
(Then again, what else could explain the training part in the first episode confuses me too...)
Aaron F. Davis yeah but mikes morpher was destroyed at that point
Perhaps it was the last bit of energy of the Magna Defender's spirit has kept inside Mike before his power faded away for good.
That...........actually makes sense
"Kendrix, nooo!" "You killed Kenni, you bastards!"
3:20 - The fans of Death Battle need to watch your videos, because they could learn a thing or two from them.
I wish that Linkara had talked about what he thought of Karone as a character, she was a power ranger after all.
Maybe she didn't have character development
I think Escape the Lost Galaxy was a fantastic episode, and it had a story somewhat reminiscent of the Book of Exodus or some of the modern African-American legends.
not going to lie but I like Villamax
I just realized something. Wild Force shows that there was another Astro Megaship built which might be how Andros got there.
Carone is one of the few rangers who didn't wear her Ranger color on her civilian clothes.
Yes. Tho she wore a pink headband sometimes...
It started in MMPR when they teamed up with the Masked Rider
Kendrix sacrifice.....i remember when i was a kid i was shocked....yeah power ranger has some big balls.
I guess that Kendrix was a name made up for the show. Cause it sounds futuristic. (LOL I was wrong, as ya can see in the comments below. I bet the writers and the rest of the production crew thought the name sounded futuristic when it actually isn't.)
DigiMega351 It is an actual name... It comes from Welsh and means "royal chieftain"...
BaronSengir1008 Very interesting! I never knew that. Thanks!
It doesnt, it sounds ancient actually. Like iron age celtic-Gaul... like Vincegetorix
Also the megazord carry the terra dome back to earth was amazing
Pretty gay actually.
you mean to mirrinoi did u watch the series?
Krona should have been seen in another in space lost galaxy team up episode I want to see Andro’s find out that her sister is a power ranger know
Had I not lost interest after Power Rangers in Space, I might have been interested in watching Lost Galaxy, as it definitely feels like a follow up to in Space.
Same for me I binged the franchise years later preparing for megaforce (which was ultimately garbage) and I loved lost galaxy
Of course it gets unblocked right after Linkara uploads the old ones to his vimeo account.
Just remember maya was the only ranger that was in "Not another teen movie"
she was also in cabin fever
@@marlonclark1896 I never saw that movie
@@johnwr817 you should see it it's good
I disagree with Linkara about the functionality of the feet gear of the battalizer. clearly the user needs a way to balance all the extra weight, so adding such massive feet components should help stabalize all the torso armor.
You didnt make any sense. If you had that shit on your feet, your still balancing on your feet except on an extra step.
@@jonc2914 that's not how gravity works
I love the Power Ranger Team-ups ^_^
I wish Linkara wasn't so hard on what they tried to do with Gingaman. The Lost Galaxy episodes are great because they actually are using the Sentai main villain.
Woofy McMann Well, I guess that's kinda true. But, I'll have to see for myself if this season still hold out on its' own as a standalone season.
Lost Galaxy WAS mostly standalone, just set in the aftermath of In Space. That is as far as the dependence on previous seasons go here.
Captain mutiny always looked lame to me even his sentai counterpart death was anticlimactic
I wish Kendrix would just stay dead and stop popping up all the time. Clearly Saban has a problem with the words, "dead, death, die, died, deceased" etc. She comes off more like some incorporeal being on a path to ascension or some bullshit when really this could have been an excellent opportunity to show that Rangers can die in battle and that when you're dead you stay dead, dead, deadski.
the manga defender was in the theme song
"HOLY CRAP ARMY OF DARKNESS"
Wasn't it rumored the Dairanger costumes were going to be used for the ancient rangers?
Really
There were like 3 times in MMPR season 2 where I was hoping the Dairanger suits would show up. 1st time was when Lord Zedd was announcing his dark rangers, the second time was when White Light happen, and the third time was when Jason, Trini, and Zack left. Having Rocky, Adam, and Aisha debut with new suits would had been awesome.
6:11 LMAO!!!
Power rangers are awesome
Same
Karone didn't really get sideline though, she did return in Super Megaforce as part of Galaxy Pink Ranger.
@@VOAN I personally want to believe Kendrix was in the Lightspeed Crossover as a "one last job" With the team to deal With Trakeena while Karone and Mike stayed in Mirinoi
BUT After that Kendrix fully passed the power to Karone
Melody as astronema is
You know I just realized something 4 years in a row the main villain was female
Turbo: divatox
In space: astronoma
Lost galaxy: trakeena
Light speed rescue: queen bansheera
I mean they were great (except for divatox she sucked) its just something I’ve now noticed
Rita was also the main villain of MMPR along with Zedd. Also Zeo had Queen Machina and Princess Archerina.
Bansheera also sucked
Still can't believe they actually fuckin' killed kendrix.
20:55 villamax dying, Savage mode maximum
good video
(3:24-3:30) Looking at you, Clash of the Red Rangers
is that actually you in the process of watching the power of pink?
Wait... how did Bulk get back to Earth? Because he's back on Earth in at least two future series... One episode in Wild Force and many episodes of Samurai..
How did Alpha 6 come with him?
I THINK it's supposed to be like Alpha 7 or something
Aster Dan
I wish it was Alpha 5. :)
sharklike megazord
If I'm not mistaken, Zhane went with the rangers back to Earth at the end of In Space. If that's the case, then why the hell wasn't he in the team up?
tresrules16543 His actor just wasn't available for the episodes.
finrodbrs Do you know why or just heard he wasn't available for the episodes.
I've only read that he just wasn't available on the power rangers wiki.
tresrules16543 That doesn't explain why Karone was on another planet either? They must have kept in touch with KO-35 and they must have had working space crafts, something which Linkara didn't think about.
tresrules16543 The actor who played Zhane wasn't available to show up for the team-up because he was too busy doing other things at that time.
22:08 wtfudge, how POWERFUL is trakeena?!
I always thought that Mirinoi was in the Lost Galaxy...
LEGOLAS!
This season of power rangers reminds me of DS9. Star trek meets power rangers lol
Why was zane not there? I only like complete team ups e.g.
Reinforcements from future
Thunderstorm
I often wondered how did the monsters keep on getting terra venture?
Teleporting ig
The explosion wasnt large enough to destroy Kendrix with nothing left of her though. She should have survived
When he found his brother floating in space all they had to do is add a bit of energy around him static morph you could say that was protecting him long enough which how can morphine provide oxygen?
Yeah right she somehow survived and head for mariner bay on earth to seek revenge against the rangers
So, Trakeena is Sarah Kerrigan? lol
20:43
Oliver Twist reference.
How so?
Joel Gordon Honestly, I can’t remember now.
