Great Lakes Central 395 399 Cadillac to Traverse City June 09, 2022

A partly sunny afternoon has the Great Lakes Central crew heading north from cadillac to Traverse City and Kalkaska. We follow along on the first leg of the journey to Traverse City where they will deliver empty gondolas to Beacon Recycling. The cars for Kalkaska will be set out at Walton where the line branches west towards Traverse City and will be worked later this evening. Slow track speeds have them moving at a leisurely pace into town.
