Hi Sharon! I’ve been dealing with a few autoimmune issues that threw my thyroid out of whack. But I’m feeling great now and glad to be crafting. Happy Easter!
Where to begin. Your table setting is gorgeous! And I never get tired of those colors of fabrics. The egg colors were so beautiful, as was the design and flowers. All done so neatly and precise. My fav were the eggs! They’re all so beautiful because you put LOVE into each project.
Hello Gizmo, and thank you!!! I love those fabrics and always buy a yard or two whenever they are on sale at Hobby Lobby. I put the eggs away until next year, but still have the bunny pillow and shabby carrots on display for a few more weeks. I do put love into everything I make and share with my RUclips friends!
Hi Becky, so glad to see you again! I love all of your creations! The carrots are darling, eggs are fun and cute for a bowl and the bunny is extra sweet!! Thank you for sharing!!
Hello my friend! I intended to upload the video well before Easter, but here we are 🤣. I still have the bunny and shabby carrots out, but will switch up my decor today with Spring projects!
Hi Susan! I’m feeling much better now. I occasionally have flare ups from autoimmune issues that leave me puffy and fatigued. I’m back on track and ready to craft! Happy Easter!
Sounds like me with a autoimmune disease you just have to take one day at a time never planning ahead because you may wakeup the next day and have a hard time walking across the room...so hope everyone is feeling good this Easter 🐣 😊...
Happy Easter! Feliz Páscoa! Lina 🇧🇷
Hello Lina; I love the beautiful pastel colors too! I’m glad you enjoyed the video projects and appreciate you watching. Have a Blessed and Happy Easter!
Becky, so glad to see you again! These turned out beautiful and adorable as always. Bunnies are one of my favorite along with birds. TYFS 💜💜💜 Have a Happy and Blessed Easter
Thank you Vickie! I’m planning on keeping the bunny and carrots displayed a bit longer. I think they are still cute for Spring. I hope you had a wonderful Easter weekend!
Oh, how I have missed you and all your krafty chicness! LoL I absolutely loved all the projects today but my favorite are the carrots and I'll be working on those ASAP! I did watch the last video. I just hadn't figured out how to leave a comment using my phone! LoL Quite humbling, I'll tell you. I've always thought I was pretty electronics literate. I had to get my daughter to show me and she says she loves that she finally has a fun mom story to share with her friends! Well, what's a mother for, I tell her! 😅 Blessed Easter greetings! ❤
I’m glad you like the shabby carrots Ema and will make a few for yourself! I’m not very tech savvy, so my daughter has to help me navigate devices on occasion. She has lots of “oh my goodness mom, really?!?” moments too. Thank you so much for watching and Happy Easter to you and your family!
Becky first of all, I’ve missed you 🥰 and secondly, you have inspired me to sew for the first time in my life, and I’m 57 … so I’m struggling! I’ve never even been one who could sew a button on anything. I would love any advice for especially making fabric covered file folders like you made last year, or any soft cover type. I’m in love with making junk journals, altered books, etc, stitching them instead of gluing them-but also want to learn to make pillows like these and any other simple beginner projects you would recommend. I can’t seem to sew a straight line. Maybe it’s one of those “practice makes perfect” things. Today’s Easter projects are adorable and inspiring. I believe I could possibly make the sweet little eggs! Have a very happy and most blessed Easter and spring! 🐣 🌷
It makes my heart so happy to hear that you’ve taken up sewing Mia! I was very fortunate that my mother was an excellent seamstress who encouraged my love of sewing. I think junk journals are great projects for beginners, because imperfections are preferred. Pillows, tote bags, napkins and placemats, and hair scrunchies are all fun and pretty simple to make. I have a magnetic seam guide that I bought from Amazon that really helps when I’m sewing thicker fabrics. Sometimes I will use a length of painters tape on the machine throat plate to help keep larger projects straight. And it is true that the more you sew, the easier it will become. Thank you so much for watching! Easter Blessings to you and your family!
@@kindashabbyGreat advice! I’ll look into those other project ideas. I received a magnetic piece with my machine, now I know what it’s for 😅 I will use that next time! You’re 100 % right about Junk Journals being great for any imperfections for beginners, also because it’s easier for me to cover up my boo-boo mistakes heehee! I’m going to remember the painters tape tip too, thank you! I love when you mention your sweet Mama, that’s the same affectionate term I use for my Mama when I speak of her. Sewing was the only craft she didn’t master, she did win many blue ribbons for her other arts and crafts though. A side note: happy you’re feeling better. I’ve battled an autoimmune disease since my 30’s, diagnosed with Crohn’s disease at 49, and I know how flares can wipe you out. I’m caregiver to my 31 yr old special needs son, but he and crafting has been my best therapy! We have to push through and enjoy the good days we’re blessed with. Prayers that you continue to regain your strength “sweet crafty friend” be blessed! ❤
Thank you so much Lola! I intended to have these projects uploaded last week, but didn’t have the opportunity to get my video edited until yesterday. You’re right; they will still be cute next year though. Happy Easter!
