Why did Timo Werner fail at Chelsea?

Timo Werner is seen as a flop of a signing who was never good enough for the premier league. The issue with Timo Werner isn't as simple as him being but more of a collective issues from his fit at Chelsea with Lampard and Tuchel to the signing of Lukaku. Timo Werner is still a solid player who will have a good career in Leipzig where he's back now.

Werner didn't fail at Chelsea but perhaps his style of playing didn't fit EPL. He played and helped Chelsea, he had to be given more chance

He was one of my favorite players good off the ball movements yes I wish he scored way more goals but he was also clutch in the ucl… and has his moments. I was hoping he stayed in the 2023 season we would see more growth and firing Tuchel didn’t make things better and the Roman abromavich incident yeah :/
