- UPenn Class of 2027 early decision results have been released! According to the announcement, over 8,000 students applied to Penn through the Early Decision Program this year - an increase from last year’s 7,795 applicants and the largest early decision applicant pool in its history. Penn did not disclose the acceptance rate, continuing its decision to withhold detailed admissions results. Last year, 15.6% of early decision applicants were admitted to the Class of 2026, but the University opted not to release the acceptance rate for regular decision applicants.

I have been watching every single one of these UPenn acceptance videos and now I can finally relate. I wish I recorded my own reaction but congrats to all who got in! Can't wait to meet you!
Ik I rlly wished I recorded mine too 😢
yeah i got into penn 3 times actually... really regret not recording my reactions.
Congrats what an amazing accomplishment
@@sandrasmith3209 thank you!
@@liamloveslunch 3 times?!
Man this was so riveting! I Cried through most of it .
Congratulations to all of you guys !!This is huge!!
I applied to Upenn regular decision and I'm praying that I get in, I really love the place! It was my first time applying to Penn but like my 5th time applying to big schools in the US ( I'm an international student so it's always harder to get in) and so far I only have rejections .
This is my last and best hope. This would be the big break I've been praying for over over 5 years now.
Blessings to you guys, I know you'll each thrive there
As an early decision reject, this video makes me really happy for the class of 2027. Congratulations to all of you! You all deserve this.
God bless you I wish you all the best I pray God guides you to the best school for you! Stay close to Jesus because he loves you eternally.
I thank you for your kind words, truly I do, but as a proud Jew, I will not associate with your god. Prayers back to you as well!
Don’t worry bro just apply again you might get in for class of 2028.

Congratulations on your acceptances to Penn State! I’m so proud of you guys 🎉🎉🎉
lmao
Duh!!!
This is for UPenn, not Penn State
Penn State and UPenn are not the same bruh lol
@@arnavrevankar444 meh same school anyways. Congrats on Penn State!!!!!!
This got me so teary and emotional.
Reminds me of the morning I waited for my medical school entrance result.
Congratulations to all the students. We all are proud of you ♥️♥️
Congrats to these students! These students must be pretty confident that they’re getting accepted if they wear the merch. Can only imagine how painful it must be to be so sure only to get rejected.
A lot wear the merch as good luck. If you watch other reaction videos, some wear merch for each college they’re opening
2:23 really warmed my heart as they were all cheering for me 🥰
*cheering for her sorryy :)
@@jadepetros8234 affirmative action?
@@aesfx2616 huh (sry I’m slow😭😭)
@@jadepetros8234 no dont worry it was a werid question for them to ask, but affirmative action is a way for colleges to make their campus more diverse and so they accept the best from different races and tend to accept a lot of minorities. they’re asking if you got in because of affirmative action
@@splavst ohhhh also it was a typo I didn’t get in lol thank u smmm
congrats to all the students!! im also applying to UPenn! manifesting an acceptance to join their cohort (co 2027) and having reactions like them too hehe
1:41 funniest silent reaction ever
Hardwork always pays off.
Not
Having rich parents pays off
My spirit was jumping for joy but I had to keep my body grounded 😅 Congratulations from Fiji 💚💙😊
Oh. I see now. 'Early Decision Program.' I woulda been pretty excited, too, but I needed Fall term to get into a better school. I family friend's kid didn't get into his choice for Early Decision. Don't recall which school it was for. I don't think ED means you can get all D's, Winter and Spring term, but weight is off your back. It's a great reward for people, who got things done earlier than expected and wanted a stress free Senior Spring. These are the students, who will do better than most. Opting for less stress over drama is a sign of high-level thinking for an 18 year old and good upbringing.
congrats to all!!!
Don’t want to be the party pooper but I applied to Princeton and got rejected. 😢. Watching this just gives me depression. How many of you are watching this after getting that rejection letter.
bro same boat here- applied to Cornell and got a lovely rejection letter:( Hope we all get into our dream school in 2023! We got this!
My husband didnt get into Princeton either. Realize there are a lot of qualified people who don't get accepted. And you can be successful in more than one place. My son zoomed into community college and has now transferred to U of Michigan.
You'll be good man. Getting into the exact college you want isn't what determines your life.
I’m not going to university yet😂
WOW! I can’t believe Penn only accepted like 20 students this year.
It's early admissions and last year they admitted 1200 kids actually out of 8k applicants
LOL
🤣
How did they get accepted when they are in 8th grade right now? I am confused
03:06 Typical dad instinct- verifying the selection
😂😂😂 yes
Im watching from uk and made me have tears, my son wanted to study medicine, unfortunately god had other plans. So he couldn't as his results weren't up to scratch. So im so happy for these kids and parents. The biggest joy for parents is in there kids success
How do you even apply for the class of 2027 if now is 2023
I’ll scream like that when I get a fullride scholarship.
I want the first family to adopt me. I need their motivation in my life.................... we all do!
Would love to add one to this! We have a great reaction too!
Hello! If you follow the Daily Pennsylvanian on social media, you’ll be notified of the next compilation, although that one is primarily meant for Regular Decision applicants who are invited to join Penn’s c/o 2027.
About to cry in a month as I get rejected from ED. Literally no chance I get in. But it's ok. Not everybody is blessed like this
Who is here just after getting rejected from UPenn? 👇👇👇
Wow - Congratulations to all. The suspense, tension, crowd waiting with baited breath and finally the emotional outburst followed by explosive OMG's, uncontrollable jumping and hugs was all worth watching.
The love his sister has for him getting into UPEnn.. these are moments in time! Speaking as one who helps draft religious exemptions for those who do not want to be coerced to take the jab- these videos are priceless knowing I have a hand in them following their dreams without forced medical procedures. Warms my heart!
Praying to god the same for my graduate application :) Btw congratulations to everyone!
Congrats!!
Im also attending class of 2027. Go Penn!
Congrats!🥳🥳❤
y'all wait for my RD reaction, literally crying in advance!!
2:03 the way she dragged her 😭
This got me so excited omg
I am not american, our uni/college system is very very different here, can someone explain why she got in to a class that is supposed to stary 5 years ago? She is going to be a very different person then, this all seems strange to me.
"class of 2027" means that they will be graduating from Upenn in 2027. For examply, the class of 2022 graduated last year.
@@izabelle106 ohh, i am stupid, here in germany when you say, the class of 2022 you mean they started in 2022
I thought the same at first😅
Is it worth attending this college? What's the average package like after graduating from this?
Bro every college in US is worth attending unlike India
@@theuniversalgamer3900 Not really 😒
Congrats! 🥳
i wonder what are the majors for these acceptances are?
Oh my!! When I got an entrance to medical school. I was pooping😂 n I didn't even make a big reaction like that, but truely my dad cried so much!
I feel bad that I had absolutely no reaction on my son's admission! On Ivy day, he opened the decisions alone and asked me whether I wanted bad or good news first. He went on saying that he was rejected by Harvard but got into Penn. So it kind of neutralized my feeling 😞 Anyway now I'm happy and proud parent as he is doing double degree w/ Wharton Economics/Finance and Penn Engineering/CS 😄
Why does your feeling matter here in the first place? Typical useless show off desi parent you are so that’s ok don’t feel bad for being a shit parent… you are not alone. not too surprised hope you are spending time boasting about your kids’ achievements with your friends and even here rather than your own achievements.
I know indian 🕉️ tons of them in usa with no big school degree they did just 3 year b a course and are partner in deloiite ey capegemini
I know 🕉️ doctors from bihar and up medical college in india( lack of toilet even at home and college) raise in extreme poverty and are from non English high-school
But in usa are surgeons like ortho
Lot collorectal
Neuro
Cardiologist
These all big school us bullsheet
If student is bright can shine from anywhere
Most us school districts or non
Kids in grade school first thing they do is watch porn & sex
This is 100% truth
Congratulations to the students and their families on their hard work.
But aren't you slightly accentuating the craziness involved in getting into big Ivy League schools!
Yeah and getting into Masters programs is harder.
wait how do they apply WHEN THEY ARE IN 8TH GRADE WITH THEIR MIDDLE SCHOOL TRANSCRIPTS?
They didn't warn us, headphone users.
I love the proud parents reaction
Congrats 🎉🎉🎉
And best wishes to the class of 2027🙏👍✅🤞🤞🤞👋💪
Congratulations!

Lots and lots of money to be spent.......
Someday!
Congratulations now you have to pay for it
Lol....that reality hasn't set in yet.
What’s the big deal about getting into upenn? It’s not like Yale or Harvard or Stanford?
It's still an ivy. Highly reputable and extremely selective.
get into penn first then talk ☠️
To everyone, especially the students, where you go to college really doesnt matter. But internships, coops and projects do.
I hope this will be me soon!
Cool now pay $61,000
This is so cute I hope it’ll be me one day
Puerto Ricoooooooo🎉
I know it’s out of joy congrats to them all but does someone think that their reaction are too much?
I receive this in Jesus Name
my parenths thrashed me when i did not qualify for an equivalent college in India - lol
U deserved it. Next time work hard
The funny thing is that they act crazy yet they probably gonna study something super easy like art or social sciences. Use these schools to your advantage and study economics or law there
thats what a postgrad degree is for, an undergrad in something "easy" can actually be more beneficial for later on
@@lowelljustice5969 Why not just study the real deal in the first place. When they do like art or social science or whatever they’re gonna get adoptera into the radical left so they are permanently damaged afterwards. Studying social sociences in college literally turns you into a gender confused feminist lesbian with extreme views about gender, race and sexuality etc. And who tf wants to hit a lawyer or an economist who has that background.

Ngl after having graduated from Penn these videos are cringe. My experience was meh, and our status is overhyped when you have subpar professors who don’t really care about students.
stats?
fingerscrossed
I wanted to see the rejections.
how about your own?
I don't know, why these peoples are so surprised by this 🤣
first 1st January 2023
meanwhile we INDIANS getting into colleges with 3 to 4 percent acceptance rate much tougher than US ivy but still crying in pain
ohhh...but why not Harvard or Yale? WTF
😂 it’s not like it’s Harvard or Yale, calm down
Ummm… Wharton is better than Harvard and Yale!

This is like the most dramatic group of people I’ve ever seen. Penn is not that prestigious, I went to ucla and when I got my acceptance letter I wasn’t even 1/4 hype as this. Doing the most
Lol so dramatic. I wasn’t even this hype when I got into medical school
Not sure what making them existed spending money on useless degrees while they can learn same stuff online for free
What's the point? That intro to biology is gonna be the same no matter what school you go to
yawn so annoying
Congrats....🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Congratulations!! The cheap Asian in me is thinking "Isn't that an expensive college?" A quick google search: tution is $61,000! $61K x 4 years.....$244k. Wow!
Don't worry, good internship pays way more than $61K so it covers tuition fees and other expenses. My son is at Penn right now and sharing this with my own experience - another chean Asian parent! 😀
@@falgunpatil2372 Hey Indian lady, most internships don’t pay any money (let alone $61,000). What do you think of the area where UPenn is located? Really nice area, right?😀
The $61,000 doesn’t include the dormitory and other fees. I think the total will come to about $80,000 per year.
@@1525boy It's ~$85K total. And my son will be making $110K for 11 weeks internship which is starting next Monday in NYC! 👌
@@falgunpatil2372 Exactly how can your son make $110K in eleven weeks? That doesn’t make any sense.
