TL;DR: Follow these 4 simple steps to use the Epic Life Audit template:
    • Step 1: Download the template: start.linkingyourthinking.com/life-audit-template
    • Step 2: Import the template in your Obsidian vault. If you’re new to Obsidian, learn how to do this here: help.obsidian.md/import/markdown
    • Step 3: Once you open the note, you’ll notice all the headings are unfolded. For a better overview, collapse all the main sections. I explain this at 4:56 of the video, but you can also follow this guide: help.obsidian.md/Editing+and+formatting/Folding
    • Step 4: Go through the exercise alongside the video or complete it afterward.
I’d love to hear about your experience in the comments section. Good luck!

Never commented on a video for years and years but I will try :
I really appreciate your work Nick. Your channel and content changed my life 3 years ago. It will maybe be awkward for you but I grew up thinking "Hey, i'd like to be more like this guy. I'd like to be able to express myself so clearly, to share my passion, and to be more mindful and connected."
Now that I consider myself an adult and that I don't see you as a sort of father figure anymore (joking), I still have work to do to achieve that but at least I figured the path !
From the bottom of my heart, I would like to thank you.
You are an amazing human and I really appreciate what you are aiming to do with your channel and content. I will keep supporting you and fully support your recent shift in the way you see content creation. Your work is helping a lot of people achieving what they want to achieve, living the life they want to live... Including me.
    Thanks from France.
    Clément

Hey Clement, I wanted to write more. Thank you for sharing so articulately the impact I was able to have for you. Sometimes, we find the right person at the right time to look up to. I know I have with different "idea father figures"...most notably with Carl Sagan, who deeply inspired my desire to make people feel half of how Sagan made me feel: full of wonder and awe.
Now we are more like peers it seems, as it should be. Soon, I hope to learn even more from you...and be inspired even more too!
Best to you Clement. From what little I know, I believe in you.

Thank you, Nick! This exercise was very helpful during my first personal retreat. The granularity of it helped me to deeply think about so many areas of my life.

I appreciate this, Nick. You've given me the idea of modifying the headings to match where I am in retirement, aligning to the four categories I use in my daily notes and Obsidian vault. I was going to do something else today but am inspired to work on my epic life audit instead. Thanks!

This is fantastic, Nick. I've been trying to do this sort of audit and I've been all over the map with "how". Love how concise and clear this is. Been thinking on it for a couple of days, and today is my day to do it! Also, I'd LOVE to know more about that theme. It's beautiful!

Ahh, good point. My personal retreat covered that...maybe I'll share another aspect of it in another video like this...thanks for the suggestion!

Your idea of efforts instead of project is great alternative way of thinking. I think for most of our life top down approach doesn't work cause we don't know a lot of things there's so much uncertainty, although I don't use obsidian I have tried to replicate it in notion, and it's working pretty great, the best part is that this system doesn't let me overestimate things, and I don't have to think before changing plan and adopting new way of work during uncertainties and it doesn't affect my planning or system😁

And I did it before watching this video, my system answers all the questions in beginning of this video 😁

Thanks for this Nick, great timing :) A bit different from what I've done (good different). Like Karen, I'll adjust some headings to suit what is important for me at this stage.

Yes, please do adjust Laila. I'm curious how you both end of adjusting the headings. Sounds like it's good timing, so good luck in your reflections!

Can't wait to do this exercise. When will we get the instructions for the theme? The theme is great but let me know if I am missing something as I dont see the link to the video or in the description.

Hi Nick. First, thank you for your content.
I don't see the information about the theme anywhere in the description as you mentioned around 2:45. Is it one of the existing links in the description? In which case it's not clear to me which. Thanks and keep up the good work!
