i feel like you could scrape so much better if you put your whole foot under the gritshift lock, like have your heel hooked on the peg and front foot on the lock and on your right side foot, have your foot hooked underneath the peg and lean back as much as you can and put all pressure on your feet and it will leave little to no pressure on your hands. That should help unless you already tried doing that
