i love how you also mentioned stuff that isn't purely aesthetic but just a good functional choice like the tips on lighting or prep space! my personal kitchen design yums are inset cabinets, sinks designed to be the focal point of the room (i'm kinda into the idea of making the undersink cabinet door out of the material used for the counters especially if it's a nice stone), having an accent table lamp or sconce, and not having corner cabinets even if that means getting rid of an entire row of cabinets. kitchens are definitely my favorite areas of interior design so i'm really happy i got many new ideas from this vid
i don’t know how i forgot to include a mini table lamp 🤦♀️ and do you have an example picture of the under sink cabinet door you could dm me? i’ve never heard of that before and i’m intrigued….
@@anticapitalisthomedesign pretty sure i've seen it first in emma chamberlain's kitchen! i'd have to look for other examples cause my pinterest acc got suspended recently and i'm left with nothing lmao
The function of a design and these ease of cleaning it is so important. Thank you for pointing that out! -From someone living in a rental kitchen that ignores both😢
I loved this video! I feel like you brought up some points that I haven't heard/thought of before and everything you mentioned really resonates with me. Stainless steel backsplash/counters are soooo dreamy
Just a precision for the aloe vera: put them on the burn AFTER using running cold water for half an hour. What matters first is getting rid of the heat, hence the cold (not freezing cold but still cold... Yes it hurts at first). After half an hour it should be done and then you can treat the damages done to the skin with aloe vera :-)
let me know your kitchen-specific favorites 👇

Great video! I would love to have an aloe plant but it's toxic to cats
oh right, yeah that’s totally fair 🙃
That prep space not above the dishwasher is super key! The chemical smells also aren’t great for fresh vegetables!
absolutely 👍
