allrain not sure if that was my intention but it makes sense considering D’arcy played Jazz basses and that’s probably what was used mainly to record those tracks. Regarding the sound nothing too crazy, just my SansAmp and fiddled with the settings to get the bass a bit crunchier and more definied considering it drives the whole song. Oh and strings! Rotosounds.It’s just the same mix of elements I use for all of my recordings. Hope that helped!
