- This is my original cover of John Mayer's version of Justin Timberlake's "I Think She Knows (Interlude)".
Sorry for the off-tempo solo at the end. I didn't have time to fix it.
Recorded this way back when I was in middle school.

Great work mate, haha i don't have any looping systems, if there was a backing track of it, I would love to know and where to find it. I recently learn't this one myself, a great song. Maybe throw some of your own moves in there, would be great. (Y) very nice love it.
yes, if you go to the mayermusic youtube account, and look for the "I think she knows interlude" video, thats the one. its pretty good.

Though JM's version has a softer, deeper tone, yours is a bit more... edgy, I guess would be a good word. I really liked it.
I'm planning on getting an electrical guitar in a month or two, since my acoustic just can't do everything, especially with my limited skill. I think this will be the first thing I'll learn how to play electrically. Hopefully I'll find a nice tone :)

honey, there's no need for the warning to be easy on the comments because this is beautiful. from one fellow musician to another, i think you did great and i like this one better than mayer's, (although jm's is good too). this is great and for you to be "only 15" as you said, you are great. please don't stop playing, musicians are becoming scarce. =)

That tiny little instrumental cover is the greatest thing Mayer ever did ! ? seriously ? I mean have you heard his albums there great. loads of really amazing songs, I mean that's not even his best cover, what about Kid A or my favourite, Bold as love by hendrix

All the notes are beautifully sounded, there's some nice vibrato there. I think I'd turn down the twang a little and work on a some phrasing, maybe with a few jazzy type notes outside the major and pentatonic scales. you're much better than me, that's just some friendly advice.

Sorry, I don't have any tabs for it, but it's pretty darn easy. You'll get it if you watch John Mayer's version about a dozen times.
I think you should have a warmer tone when you play it. Its kinda twangy. idk Thats what i think. i really dont like playing twangy in general. But thats totally up to you :]
nice work buddy.. I couldnt do any better but if you want my advice.. I think it would sound more fluid if you picked just a little lighter in the beginning of the lead guitar part. Nice work man keep up the good work!

How can you say that? John Mayer didn't make a studio cover of the song. And I would never steal his music, saying that I played it because he's my hero.
Plus, John wouldn't play this crappy anyways. Studio version are never this crappy. (Note: The mistake I made in the beginning of the solo at the end, that's crazy off tempo...)
