I would love to see the young generation finding back to the roots of pure hip hop forms like popping or locking and forget about those social-media dances
they don't have within them these days, they follow and copy, we were inspired and developed own style. There's the difference, today's gen want it done yesterday out of the box...with immediate effects (only have to look at DJ'ing these days), pick fairly cheap decks with all the "right" buttons, download a few tunes and you're an international DJ in a week.
todos muito bons mas a segunda dupla foi demais na coreógrafia manda vê nas cadencias da house music é cansativo demais e exige muito posicionamento devido a velocidade das batidas musicais😊 otima apresentação 👏👏👏👏👏👋
I REALLY hope these two will never be forgotten. They are crazy talented and dedicated in their art. They are my favorite dancers and they unlock so many memories for me since I watched them when I was growing up.
Unless people normally don't see this kind of dance it won't be "holy shit amazing" but combined with stuff like waving and flexible moves it looks amazing
there are repetitive patterns if you look closely, i believe they've been doing this for YEARS, i'm sure it's easy for them to memorize these steps. it's just like musician can play for 30+ minutes without music sheets
"Y'all ever heard of locking?" Lol really? Back in the early eighties the terms "Popping" and "Locking" never went one without the other. The movie "Breakin" hit the theatres and no empty seat was to be found... and soon after Popping, Locking, and Breakdancing made it's way to the lounges and bars. Breaking didn't last long because the majority of people didn't know how to do it and having an ambulance show up to cart the injured away was commonplace. Popping and Locking remained though and the rest is history. Lol, anybody else think that these guys looked really like the dude from The Time? They appeared in the movie "Purple Rain" with Prince (RIP). Anyway, I got a chuckle when I saw these guys.
Check out this new sample cut called: "TANKBRAIN FEATURING LOTUS - I'M READY" It would be cool music for hip hop or old school poppin. Bump it in your ride, on your stereo or on your ipod. It will get you "READY" for whatever.
They look so tired right after finishing their astonishing performance ... What a duo of locking legends (with a proper popping technique and some nice footwork as well) !
I've added tons of different forms of Poppin, breakin, flexin, liquid, tuts, Melbourne shufflin, tracing, digits, miming, etc. But locking I never had a good way to learn but damn I want to add those moves to my muscle memory!
These guys have an awesome style. Love their popping. You guys should check out Poppin Hyun Joon and Cyborg Jung. Not lockers but poppers. Love this style of dancing.
Kings of synchronization. They are the best.
ブレイクダンスのブレイキングも格好いいけど、ポップダンスやロックダンスのオンパレードも圧巻です!とても綺麗で迫力があります!最高です!
Whenever I watch Hilty and Bosch I FEEL like I'm dancing right along with them
This is super legendary. Period!

Heads of the world will never let that happen. Just like we will never forget Bruno or Frankie Knuckles.

That was sick! So glad to see locking still going strong after nearly 40 year. Don 'Campbellock' Campbell would be proud.
