The sound of bullets is from the game when you use V.A.T.S (it slows down time and let's you auto target parts of enemies). They did amaziiiing job with that shoutout.
VATS is supposed to be a product of the pip-boy. So the ghoul using it is kinda outta place. They should have shown Lucy using it in her shooting practice montage...

You can tell thats the case as we never see the ghoul do anything similar to vats again. The whole point was just to have some fun with a mechanic that pretty much makes no sense in reality but is still a core feature of fallout.

Their universe didnt invent the integrated circuit until right before the war. They were focused on nuclear technology.

Titus running away from the bear while yelling “fuck fuck fuck fuck…”, is a fairly accurate response from any player when they encounter something big like a Deathclaw or Yao Guai, whether they’re in power armor or not, lmao.
You probably noticed but Wilzig tipped the scale when he measured CX404, she was just slightly under 10 ounces but he for whatever reason didn't want to destroy her, that's why he was hiding her in the wall, she wasn't "good enough" for whatever the enclave was using them for.
Remember that Titus basically promised to have Maximus crucified as a failed squire when they returned. I would have done the exact same thing, and let Titus drown in his own blood. That guy was a petty coward hiding behind his power armor. He did not deserve his armor- at least, not according the Brotherhood's definition of honor and courage. If Maximus had shot at the bear before he was guaranteed a headshot, it only would have pissed it off and made it charge him. Titus would totally have lived, if he would have just shut up and been a real Brother of Steel.

Also: -The entrance to the town of Filly was filmed in the Pine Barrens airplane and automobile graveyard in southern New Jersey. - The boat graveyard scene As Lucy begins to explore the Wasteland, the shipwreck of the Eduard Bohlen appears. In a later episode (6 IIRC) you can distinctly hear the flashlight sound when someone turns on their PipBoy light. Also, not only the sounds, but a lot of the sets are 3D printed using actual wireframe assets from the various games. Bethesda gave the assets to the production team and they printed tons of stuff for the sets. The level of detail in this show is amazing, and deserves ALL THE AWARDS!
if im not mistaken (i could check but i dont want to) the guy that play Titus was in Friends as one of Phoebes boyfriends (the cop) and in Justified (Amazing show that doesnt get as many attention as it should) as one of Dewey cousins (Walton Goggins played Boyd Crowder in that show and it was the best role in his career imo)
As someone who has played Fallout 4 I loved this show. First of all the Ghoul’s makeup is on point. The Ghoul who they fight this episode reminds me of John Hancock a companion in 4. When I was watching this Lucy’s experience with the surface dwellers made me think about my character, although they didn’t think I was weak for long 😂
I love how Wilzig is deliberately set up and coded as a sinister mad scientist...and he turns out to be one of the kindest, selfless guys in the franchise.
It seems like Max's arc is all about the cycle of revenge and rising above it. Remember, during his interrogation he even said that he joined the brotherhood to get back at the people who hurt him. That is a major flaw of his, but he is a good person at his core. I like that it's still somewhat ambiguous whether he's the one who put the razor in Dane's boot. Titus was a shithead the entire time and the whole reason they got into the mess with the bear is because he refused to go to the original location, like Max suggested. He blamed Max for everything that happened and while being a dick by itself doesn't justify Max's actions, He really pushed it over the edge by essentially implying that he'd get Max executed when they get back to the base.

In Fallout 4 you have a game option called "Wild Wasteland" which basically enhances the surreal factor of certain situarions and interactions with NPCs, and the show is written to mirror that, hence all the crazy characters, like the Chicken Fucker, etc. I gotta get back to Fallout 4 man....

In Fallout 4 you can give Dog Meat a stuffed teddy bear just like the one in the show. He loves it and will play with it as long as you let him.

The squires carrying the big golf bags is kind of a joke towards the game in that players tend to pick up and carry a lot of crap throughout the game.
