    Hi mam, earlier I used to struggle preparing these powders on my own. Always I depended on my in- laws or invite my husband's cousin from Channarayapatna to prepare it for me. But this time, I challenged myself and followed each and every tips and steps that u told and have prepared sambhar pudi, saarina pudi, palyada pudi, bisibelebath pudi, menth hittu etc. The result is awesome and food tastes so traditional just like my thavaru mane oota. Thanks for making me cook food tastily like amrutha, madam, maduve mane adige irutthalla aa thara ide. Eshtu thanks heLidaru saakaagolla. Oota maadthaa maadtha nanage proud feel aagthaaa ide

    Mam I made this powder very little on trial basis & thondekaayi sambhar from this, "THE BEST TASTE" I am loving it, now I will make more and store the powder, thank u soo much for a wonderful recipe :)

Nivu madiddu nodta nanu maneli madlik shuru madini almost 4 month inda. Taste nu chennag irutte matta nam budget Alli aagutte. Nimma bhalashtu recipies na madini. Perfect bandive.       almost for all huLi we can use this. except with potato onion, cabbage, sometime badanekayi. For all those we have to add little chakke

    Dear Raji Mam, for how many days can we store this powder at room temperature? Can we use only byadgi red chillies instead of using guntur chillies. Please reply.

      1 to 1.5 months, but jaasti dina room temperaturenalli idre kobbari haakbedi haage maadi. huLi maadoovaaga kayi haaki, yes you can use only byadagi red chillies

    Hello mam, I tried both ಸಾರು and ಹುಳಿ ಪುಡಿ.. taste ತುಂಬಾ ಚೆನ್ನಾಗಿದೆ 👌👌
    ಆದ್ರೆ ಯಾಕೋ ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ಖಾರ (ಘಾಟು) ಅಂತ ಅನ್ನಿಸ್ತಿದೆ. ಏನು ಮಾಡಬೇಕು madam?. ಹುಳಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಸಾರನ್ನು ಚೆನ್ನಾಗಿ ಕುದಿಸಿದ್ದೀನಿ. 1st time prepare ಮಾಡಿದಾಗ 2 spoons ಪುಡಿ ಬಳಸಿದ್ದೆ, 2nd time I reduced to 1 spoon. ಆದ್ರೂ ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ಖಾರ ಅನ್ನಿಸ್ತಿದೆ.
    Please suggest something to modify ಘಾಟಿನ ತರಹದ ಖಾರ.

      usually north karnataka kade chilli powder use maadthaare, mysore kadeli it is chillies, chillies does give a different taste to the powder and the sambar or rasam or to even to chutney powders.

    red chilly & coriander seeds levels are equal in yr powder? bit confusing when i want to try yr ratio by reducing measurements as my need. you mentioned chilly in numbers & coriander seeds in cup, cup size will vary hse to hse.

      it is standard cup measurement and chiili and seeds are not in equal ratio

    Hi. Ee sambar powder use madi Sambar madodu torsi pls and sambar madbekadre extra chilli powder or any other powder hakbeka or this powder is sufficient??
