1st thing is to use safety glasses doing this work
Dremel for small detail work. Your grinder is to large for detail tips.
Don, Rather than cutting off the bent end of the tool, what if you only cut a short piece off it and you mounted a regular carbide cutter so it was angled down. Wouldn't it cut like a negative rake cutter?
Maybe. I think the angle would also interfere with the tool rest. Might be worth a try.
