People hating on tenz needs to learn his suffering rn. Man got a hand injury like very serious hand injury, fiancé is fighting cancer, and he’s getting hate for playing despite not knowing that he forced himself to play so the team can play the tournament period and they had no subs. People need to learn his suffering by things like that happening to them. That’s the on,y way they can understand what he is going through and I stand by this.
I think benching him would help him a lot more, especially in a time like this. Being there for his fiancé and finding his groove again would help a lot.
Before I watch the video, my prediction as to why everyone hates him: 1) He was the *setter* of the early valorant professional scene. Being the first Radiant in Valorant, and also being part of Sentinels, which was, at the start, the greatest valorant team, everyone would obviously have high expectations, on Sentinels, especially on the "upcoming prodigal son" of Valorant. 2) Related to the first, because he did well on the *early* scene in Valorant, does not translate to him constantly being on top after that. He isn't the only player getting better at the game. Eventually, time will shed the mold on other talents that are potentially as good as TenZ. Not to mention, the Meta always shifts, what works then, will not always work now. 3) Bro is dealing, WITH A LOT. I can only pray and hope the best for him. 4) Lastly, this may be a stretch, but I feel like people are envious of him. Why? Oh, well he has a beautiful (soon-to-be) wife, bro is making THE MONEY by playing something he is passionate about, he's fucking handsome, and he's talented. This could spark some envy which could've lead to some internet trolls and misleaders to spread hate about him. Still, this is a stretch.
your last reason isnt wrong, there are ppl like that, hating on ppl who have more than them. They see it as unworthy. especially those "im thisrank but i play better bla3" they usually say it to act as if they are better than TenZ when in reality, they arent. some ppl hate when others are btter than them
I'm not surprised that his "fans" just decides to pile on him when he's at his lowest point, instead of supporting and motivating him. Those aren't fans.
No they're not their bandwagon kids that go for whoever performs the best in the valorant community and when their "goat" pro gamer starts failing they start to say he\she is "washed" and moves on to the next upcoming pro. It's reality and it's stupid asf but I know Tenz will overcome these obstacles :>
This thing with zoning out is what I have since I can think. Everytime when I want to give it all and give 100% concentration my vision goes blurry and my thoughts drift away. It's such an annoying curse. I feel with Tenz😅
I think him being benched now will be good for him watching him on stream now he doesn't look like his usual self with his fiance having cancer to people shitting on him cause he didn't drop fucking 50 kills a game man needs a break and when he comes back he will probably be back better than before. hes gonna look like marved out there just tapping people left and right
dang when tenz started talking about zoning out and stuff that hit hard... ive been going through some of the same exact issues. i made it to immortal and idk what happened but one day something flipped in my brain and ive been disinterested alot like how he explains. its heart breaking man.... makes me feel like i shouldnt even play the game anymore and if tenz is going through it i imagine its only worse for him being a pro. tenz i know your pain my dude and i pray things get better.... for the both of us!
Nice video! I hope they keep marved on the roster. TenZ is going through way too much to have to deal with VCT. I think he should be spending more time recovering and supporting Kyedae; but no matter what happens, SEN fans should always support him and the team.
Honestly tenz is such a nice and loveable guy. He would make for a perfect content creator and since marved is here, they shouldn't bench marved. Hes a big asset to sentinels.
despite tenz zoning out sen still did decent for most of the games tenz played in, the short break for tenz is definitely deserved and we hope to see him back stronger than he was🙏🙏
It will be another testament on how hurtful are high-impossible expectations. And how everyone is human and have so much deeper problems to care about than to master a "craft".
Just something I’d comment on is that having a close friend or partner with a really dangerous chronic condition can make it difficult to really take your mind off things and can make competing difficult in so many ways mentally. Just my two cents from dealing with it for years
A1 video. You did an amazing job shedding light on the issue and doing the difficult job of humanizing the pros and players we enjoy watching. Reminds us all to be a little more empathetic and human to each other
Appreciate the love!, I often get comments saying that my title is abrupt and not true but the truth is it’s very much needed to catch people’s attention in order to inform them of Tyson’s tough situation, nevertheless I’m glad you like it :)
Sad to see TenZ like this He got hated during his CS GO Days And now even in Valorant Kyedae has cancer which has a mental toll to him as well but still he keeps up helps her and entertains his fans despite the backlash
I have the same. Those games were I'm able to focus and concentrate I own. And the ones I'm spacing out is really hard to play because you lose battles you should win.

when he said he zones out, i have ADD (adhd just not hyper active) and i like zone out the exact same way its hard to play but knowing the face of val tenz he will get it back, i can also focus better than before but its actually hard (idk thats my experience )
Great video! Imo TenZ should focus on himself now and take a break from social media, i can't imagine all the things he must going through in addition to all the stupid hate he gets. He still one of the greatest in the game history. Sentinels should also focus on their team so benching TenZ seems like the best outcome in my honest opinion.

i pray he has a comeback and is as dominant as he always was. hopefully his situations get sorted out he’s still my fav most humble guy! praying for kyedae as well
I have had similar competitive issues in Soccer, just like TenZ described in Valorant. Blurry vision, loss of focus, it's all mental, and it's difficult to pinpoint the cause, he just has to evaluate what he's doing, and what's going on in his life that could be causing it. I would imagine Kyedae having cancer is a massive influence on his performance. I hope he and Kyedae get better soon. Wish them all the best.
First Radiant of Valorant, VCT Masters. There are so many things that he has done that makes him the face of Valorant or maybe even THE crowned king. As shown in the last clip of the video, people would be saying crap that his skill has dropped, but looking on what's happening with Kydae fighting cancer, it is very well an obvious answer of Tyson just having a time of his life where in falls down only for a few.
TenZ is a great player; he needs to prove nothing, as he has already redeemed himself as one of the greatest Valorant pros ever. I think it would be better for him and the Sentinels if he continues to focus on content creation and their personal problems. Regardless of their decision, I'll still be a huge fan of TenZ!
“hate” is a strong word being that he one the first ever lan and has held the title “best player in the world” he had high expectations when a player doesnt live up to those they often get flamed for being washed or horrible so some ppl may still love tenz but most think hes not the best anymore
Yea, but he kind of lost that title of being the "best player in the world" a while back when Sentinel kept losing. When chamber was meta, there was yay, cryo, aspas, and etc that were obviously better. Now without the chamber meta, duelists like Derke and Aspas are thriving and again, obviously better. But problem is when it comes to the "haters", they choose to ignore the fact that literally no one calls Tenz the best anymore, not you, not me, not Tenz. The only ones thinking that are a select few of Tenz's fan and his anti's, who funnily enough is more invested in hating on the man that they might as well be the 'real' fans.
To be on top is hard, but staying there is a different kind of level. it will need your entire focus, obsession as others may call it and with everything happening, Tenz isn't there. If he can come back or not is entirely up to him.
The reason why people dislike him is cause of his fans, not him. Dude's a massive sweetheart and a talent, my suspicion is that he's just overburdened with all this
Tenz story has turned so sad. Going from the best player in the world to falling behind and having nobody change anything around him. Falling behind in the old meta and having the team do clout things like playing Shroud, Franchise looked like a way up but with all the personal things hes going through u cant help but see why hes looked off, hes probably burned out from grinding the past 3 years and him being a step behind the past 2 years.
He's going thru the same situation Dendi had on Dota2 He was the face of Early dota2 Dude was the MVP of the first TI and was close to winning the 2nd and 3rd But after that things just wasn't able to pick up he decided to stick to his team with hope that they will succeed, he wasn't able to catch up to the quickly evolving meta. for a long time even tho many was already changing rosters Many questioned him but he still has his loyal fans until he decided to quit Started a new team on his own but he never found success again (in pro at least)

whenever someone talks abt val., that dude always pops up in my head. its like ninja with fortnite. but i didn't know ten had haters wild, he lowkey a goat.
I think the root of the problem is how OVERHYPED the community makes certain individuals. Not just in Valorant but any game. No one can perform up to insane standards set by community figures
In my opinion i thinks SEN members wanted to bench TenZ i mean thats why they played bad in latest games with tyson They didnt gave him the support im not talking about Zekken he tries his best but i have a big Q about brazilian duo they performed well with marved but not with TenZ they didnt gave tyson a Chanse, Just look at all deaths of tyson VS NRG it was all about Info and lack of support guys the fking look at them !!! its not tyson its Others they let tyson down !!! but why ? they just needed a new roaster a whole new one i mean wtf out tyson did huh ? hes a good man ! BTW good luck tyson we love to see play you again like the old monster ! we re waiting for you. Till then GG !
Tenz is a good dude. Not into Val but he seems genuine. Being there for your partner when they are going through cancer is mentally and spiritually draining and on top of that the added pressure to keep being in comp? Hats off to the guy fr

I don't play Valorant, but it's absolutely devastating that he's getting so much hate despite his situation as is. Talk about kicking a man while he's down.
I feel bad for him. Mans is going through too much. His gf is dealing with cancer. He himself is injured. Everyone has ups and downs in their lives and we should be helping them stay happy
damn never thought I had a problem until tenz said something about him zoning out i have that and seeing his life for the past few months I think its deff stress I never thought I was stressed out I think I need to help myself as well
you can only do so much as a duelist once people actually learn how to play the game and until it's hard nerfed, it's a matter of getting the most out of what works for you at the time and trying to sustain it over time. So not only has the nature of the role like being mechanically talented and very instinctual affected him and the pressure from fans due to him being talented and better than other duelists to keep on the same level but in the video he talks about him "zoning out" which is brain fog which definitely can be caused by his personal issues but i also think his early success was a factor. I hope he gets better I'm personally a BatChest and it's nice to see tenz playing kayo etc and posting guides etc so everyone can shine the light on what was once his shadow.
I just want to see him happy. He has so much against him and i hope he gets all the rest he needs. He will always be my goat.

I think benching him would help him a lot more, especially in a time like this. Being there for his fiancé and finding his groove again would help a lot.
Maybe putting him as a content creator for sentinels is a better choice
At least he can stream and do other stuffs
watching this video after vct america 2024 makes you feels good for tenz
10 seconds in and i already know this was gonna be a great video, awesome editing and commentary. keep up the good work :)
This did not age well.
Before I watch the video, my prediction as to why everyone hates him:
1) He was the *setter* of the early valorant professional scene.
They see it as unworthy. especially those "im thisrank but i play better bla3" they usually say it to act as if they are better than TenZ when in reality, they arent. some ppl hate when others are btter than them
Poor Tyson.. I hope things get better for him soon ngl
who is watching this after VCT MADRID? TenZ just needed a better role and a team that can clear his lacking!
An updated video coming soon!
I'm not surprised that his "fans" just decides to pile on him when he's at his lowest point, instead of supporting and motivating him.
Those aren't fans.
Yes
No they're not their bandwagon kids that go for whoever performs the best in the valorant community and when their "goat" pro gamer starts failing they start to say he\she is "washed" and moves on to the next upcoming pro. It's reality and it's stupid asf but I know Tenz will overcome these obstacles :>
such a great video, i love how small youtubers with genuinely good content are starting to be pushed by youtube
Appreciate the love :))
I dont care if TenZ is washed because "I heckin' love TenZ"
I heckin love TenZ
Tenz is and will always be the goat! I wish him all the best and I love him!❤
Update they did, I think their new roster with marved and tenz will do great things
He deserves the warmest hug, that's all I wanna say
despite tenz zoning out sen still did decent for most of the games tenz played in, the short break for tenz is definitely deserved and we hope to see him back stronger than he was🙏🙏
It will be another testament on how hurtful are high-impossible expectations. And how everyone is human and have so much deeper problems to care about than to master a "craft".
Just something I’d comment on is that having a close friend or partner with a really dangerous chronic condition can make it difficult to really take your mind off things and can make competing difficult in so many ways mentally. Just my two cents from dealing with it for years
THE GOAT WILL PULL TJROUGH, EVERYJTING WILL BR BACK. WE LOVE TENZ AND KYDAE
Sad to see TenZ like this
He got hated during his CS GO Days
And now even in Valorant
Kyedae has cancer which has a mental toll to him as well but still he keeps up helps her and entertains his fans despite the backlash
this video is soooo well made!!! keep it up, dude
NO MATTER HOW MUCH U TRY CRAZY PEOPLE WILL ALWAS TRY TO BASH U AND LOOK DOWN ON U KEEP GRINDING TENZ LOVE U MAN....
this video ages horribly
YT recomended me this video and by far this did not aged well..
why
They won this year @@kan5230
This didn't age well
This didn’t end welll
I have the same. Those games were I'm able to focus and concentrate I own. And the ones I'm spacing out is really hard to play because you lose battles you should win.
I feel so bad for TenZ. What do people expect from a person whos girlfriend literally has CANCER… He needs to take a break from social media and hoping he will be happy in the future.
the thing is this is more of a mental struggle for the coach than for the player to choose who should play
I love tenz no matter how bad or good he performs he is the goat to me
Tenz is mediocre compared to other players, and he achieved nothing on csgo. Tenz is the first radiant because the game is just literally new back then, and also have less skilled players back then. Famous doesn't = skill. He is literally a mascot. Useless only useful for publicity.
when he said he zones out, i have ADD (adhd just not hyper active) and i like zone out the exact same way its hard to play but knowing the face of val tenz he will get it back, i can also focus better than before but its actually hard (idk thats my experience )
Glad you enjoyed it :), and yeah benching him is the right call at least for now.

@@Apple_Beshy if tenz is medicore then everyone that's not good enough to go pro is garbage. Tenz has some of the best aim and insanely good game sense and if he is on jett he knows exactly when to use each ability. But most people would be garbage if they had covid, girlfriend had covid and needing to live up to some of the highest expectations. This isn't a csgo video and no one said famous=skill
@@basicname1555 💀💀 found the fanboy he is literally mediocre in valo, and that's a fact.
idk why people still hate him bro has gone thorugh a lot and seeing him smile makes me happy
Every time i walk in one of the NA’s Esports chat, I feel like i am in a civil war or something. Whenever a team lose A round, the amount of toxic from the chat is stronger than a fucking Viper ult.
Bro NA is so fucking toxic i feel bad for all NA pros. Those shitters in chat will flame you more than a moli straight to the face
i pray he has a comeback and is as dominant as he always was. hopefully his situations get sorted out he’s still my fav most humble guy! praying for kyedae as well
I have had similar competitive issues in Soccer, just like TenZ described in Valorant.
The man is going through a sh*t ton of stuff and most of it is bad. I don't care what other people think.I think this man needs more support.
Lol
You're very underrated. Keep up the good work!
Appreciate it brotha❤
First Radiant of Valorant, VCT Masters. There are so many things that he has done that makes him the face of Valorant or maybe even THE crowned king. As shown in the last clip of the video, people would be saying crap that his skill has dropped, but looking on what's happening with Kydae fighting cancer, it is very well an obvious answer of Tyson just having a time of his life where in falls down only for a few.
I think they should make tenz as a content creator and a six man like what nrg did with ethos
This video explains everything so clearly, earned my sub!
Well well well how the turn has table
who's here after tenz's retirement announcement
well, sentinels is already iun masters playoffs...
“hate” is a strong word
being that he one the first ever lan and has held the title “best player in the world” he had high expectations
when a player doesnt live up to those they often get flamed for being washed or horrible so some ppl may still love tenz but most think hes not the best anymore
If he can come back or not is entirely up to him.
ion know anything but i still love tenz and i always will
tenz on jett with sacy supporting him was what was missing sacy was on fucking smokes sacy supported aspas
Thank goodness someone said it. You can literally see how Sacy supported Zekken for the MIBR and Loud series. Some people are just braindead tbh
this didnt age well with SEN winning this year lmaooo
The reason why people dislike him is cause of his fans, not him. Dude's a massive sweetheart and a talent, my suspicion is that he's just overburdened with all this
"Removing TenZ is impossible"
SEN: Hold my Marved
he means completly removing him from the roster itself
this video aged well
bro I started val watching TenZ I would never have switched from CS he's my goat forever, damn haters don't understand what he's going through..
He's going thru the same situation Dendi had on Dota2
He was the face of Early dota2 Dude was the MVP of the first TI and was close to winning the 2nd and 3rd
But after that things just wasn't able to pick up he decided to stick to his team with hope that they will succeed, he wasn't able to catch up to the quickly evolving meta. for a long time even tho many was already changing rosters
Many questioned him but he still has his loyal fans until he decided to quit
Started a new team on his own but he never found success again (in pro at least)
Tenz is mediocre compared to other players, and he achieved nothing on csgo. Tenz is the first radiant because the game is just literally new back then, and also have less skilled players back then. Famous doesn't = skill. He is literally a mascot. Useless only useful for publicity.
csgo better clown 🤡🤡🤡🤡🗣🔥🔥🔥
Haters gonna hate. He making money and I’m happy for him
I legit have never met a valorant player that hates Tenz
Well now you got one
then you have never met any valo player older than 10
That zone out feeling is something I have had a hard time with my entire life. It's not easy
bench him? yeah bench like bench press? yeah i do that. i love to bench press. i hope tenz loves to bench press as much as i do! im his biggest fan and i would love to workout with him! by benchpress i mean his butt
whenever someone talks abt val., that dude always pops up in my head. its like ninja with fortnite. but i didn't know ten had haters wild, he lowkey a goat.
I think the root of the problem is how OVERHYPED the community makes certain individuals. Not just in Valorant but any game. No one can perform up to insane standards set by community figures
dudes going thru so much hes literally dissociating,, hope that everything gets better for tenz and kydae
In my opinion i thinks SEN members wanted to bench TenZ
i mean thats why they played bad in latest games with tyson
They didnt gave him the support
im not talking about Zekken he tries his best
but i have a big Q about brazilian duo
they performed well with marved but not with TenZ
they didnt gave tyson a Chanse, Just look at all deaths of tyson VS NRG it was all about Info and lack of support guys
the fking look at them !!! its not tyson its Others
they let tyson down !!! but why ?
they just needed a new roaster a whole new one i mean wtf out tyson did huh ?
hes a good man !
BTW good luck tyson we love to see play you again like the old monster !
we re waiting for you. Till then GG !
your title pretty much sums up the reason why so many ppl hate him, or rather his fanbase.
sen just won vct lol
less go SEN
as soon i saw this thumbnail i was like "What did heeee saaaayyyyyy?"
Title should be "Why does everybody dick-ride the face of Valorant" just look at the comments on this vid

People aren’t d riding, they’re just supporting him because of all the shit that’s going on in his life
Mans gotta see a therapist about that zoning out. Sounds like he's dissociating
Tenz is a good dude. Not into Val but he seems genuine. Being there for your partner when they are going through cancer is mentally and spiritually draining and on top of that the added pressure to keep being in comp? Hats off to the guy fr
people hating on him because he chokes so much lately yet they never understood what situation he's facing rn. really nice to know that tenz dont really mind about the haters.
I don't play Valorant, but it's absolutely devastating that he's getting so much hate despite his situation as is. Talk about kicking a man while he's down.
TenZ cracks under pressure anyone who followed him back w C9 in csgo knows. He’s a great guy for sure, but he’s better as CC not pro play
L take
History is repeating itself for him.
Same thing happen to him during his csgo days
I feel bad for him. Mans is going through too much. His gf is dealing with cancer. He himself is injured. Everyone has ups and downs in their lives and we should be helping them stay happy
Lately though he’s been going crazy at least in ranked like he’s a demon
damn never thought I had a problem until tenz said something about him zoning out i have that and seeing his life for the past few months I think its deff stress I never thought I was stressed out I think I need to help myself as well
you can only do so much as a duelist once people actually learn how to play the game and until it's hard nerfed, it's a matter of getting the most out of what works for you at the time and trying to sustain it over time. I hope he gets better I'm personally a BatChest and it's nice to see tenz playing kayo etc and posting guides etc so everyone can shine the light on what was once his shadow.
honestly i dont really watch his gameplay very much, I just know he's an awesome guy who never really seems to get toxic
