Spot #1 is actually Kates Hole and Dead man's is the second hole. You can get to both from this area or just drive up past church first left...

Myself I am a kayaker, but my brother is an avid fisherman. And all of these places would fit the bill for when come down to Corpus from San Antonio. Thanks again--it's a great video. Well done, man!

Be nice to see where to either unload or park & walk from Surfside to San Luis Pass. I haven't fished it in over 30yrs, so I don't know of any safe spots to wade or launch when I get my Kayak.
I know they have 1 Kayak Launch by X-Mas Bay but I hear there's other locations also
Try between Aransas Pass and Port Aransas lighthouse lakes. They have a Kayak launch only area where you can launch and get across the channel to awesome fishing. I believe that highway is 361 on the way to Port A ferries from Aransas Pass on the left
EXACTLY what I needed today! I'm a little concerned on the fish population due to that cold snap, and so many died. They might have to put some controls on fishing to rebuild the population...i hope not.
I also expect a jump in the price of baitfish as well.

Yes definetly a jump in bait fish prices but I think the fishing will be fine

What do you catch at labonte park??!
You can catch redfish, trout, alligator gar and just about anything. Ive personally not caught a damn thing there yet

Yes you can
I only launched into Nueces once...it ended in regret...one day I'll share the story. :)

Yes there are but your safe in your Kayak. I would be careful with inflatables. Lots of sharp rocks around the bays. Ocean you'll be fine
