Great video man. Was wondering if you could make a video in regards to jacket reselling and the process you might go through to do that. I think that would make for a really interesting idea.
So glad that bran I like has that great customer service though you didn't got the jacket directly from them. Great stuff. Btw excellent looking time pice! Is it a vintage Eterna?
Good work. Apparently, when you've cleaned the zip teeth, if you then run a pencil up and down a few times, this will help keep it running more smoothly for a long time.
I also have a Highway Man, front quarter horse, and it's a great jacket. BUT my zipper went after I wore the jacket about 10 times. Unfortunately my malfunction is on the male part of the starter...the part went and can not be found. I think the jacket is super great but the little A-2 size Talon is not up to the job. I will go for a 8mm or so RiRi...just need to find someone to put it in correctly.
Hey Del you do a great job presenting various leather jackets. Thank you . I have many leather jackets but haven’t had time to save up for an Aero yet. Any thoughts on Master Supply Co leather jackets? Thx
Hey Steve, thanks man! Master Supply is in an interesting spot price-wise. I’d like to do a review on them but haven’t handled one of their jackets yet.

Oh sure. It’s been on my mind lately as well
Great job del I just learned to fix my zippers
Perhaps a little silly how proud of myself I felt 😅
@@DudsByDel lol i feel ya but like my mom says ya don’t stop learning till you die
@@markmartin1835 heck yeah man. It may have taken me like 100x as long as Denny did but it was my first time. Was fun too
@@DudsByDel I bet looked like a fun thing to do

Yeah man. Really stand by their product. The watch is a Doxa Sub 200 “Sharkhunter”
Nice job!
Thanks Nathan!
Well done !
Do you lubricate your Zips with pencil lead (graphite) or what ?
In England zippers are known as zips, I’m sure you know that.
Thanks Iron Dog! I have a stick of zipper wax called ZipperEase. You rub a little along the zipper teeth then work the zipper over jt
Do we need some kind of zipper oil? I never really researched zippers on jackets. I did have a zipper blow out on my old Spidi motorcycle jaket.
I’ve used a product called ZipperEase, it’s wax based

Thanks! Have heard the pencil trick. I do also have a tube of zipper ease, which is a wax based product

@@anj4de yes a common concern. Dena at Great Leather or Johnson Leather can do the zip for you, I’m sure there are other places too
Where did you get the zipper from? I can't seem to find where to buy replacement zippers
Is it for an Aero jacket?
@@DudsByDel it's for a Schott, for the sleeves. The ones that are on it now are Ideal branded and aren't very good

Actually it look really good zipped qll the way up. Not bad to have options
Yeah options are 👌 Most often I feel like it will still be unzipped but versatility is very nice
