Thank you for reporting. While I wholeheartedly support an extra chapter (or even a chapter between Ages to clean up), the contents are such a mixed bag. The precision stack split loss for no gain (we could already stack split) shows exactly how out of touch they are. Making the dying bench useful by taking away user inventory utility is like driving up sewer water sales by shutting off the fresh water. The Dyers bench is too large. No one uses it because it's a clucky over built mess. Rather than make the bench more useful by putting it at a reasonable size, they decide to level gate dying armour. They explicitly say they wanted more reasons for players to run back to base, which sucks. Also, as far as immersion. It's exactly as immersive as baking bread in the smelting furnace. Clothe and Leather are dyed before being shaped. Or painted afterwards. Metal is heat treated or alloyed for colour during the smelting or fabrication process. It can be painted afterwards and then enamelled. Basically, we're partially correcting the fighting changes to then have the unwanted and inelegant changes forced on the inventory system. 5 steps forward, 7 steps back.
As usual, a succinct and comprehensive summary. Thank you. In agreement re the new Dyer's Bench mechanic. I would have liked to see a multitiered version though - a simple version (1x1 size) where we only get some basic dyes, a mid-tier one similar to the current one and wherein players add the armour, then drag/drop dyes to the respective slots (1x2 size). Then the top level tier Dyer's bench wherein a player can drop several armour sets of same type and mass-dye at same time (3x2 size). I think that handing more and more 'intelligent' actions to thralls such as in operating trebs will be a quick-to-be-exploited thing and not recommended. "Large swords as per Dark Fantasy" - I shall blame the drink for that suggestion. May Yog infest any who bring those kinds of things into the game and "Prayne de crabug ahm keike rinedere be-yogt iglo kes gron!" 'Nuf said. :)
On that last point: "This is Conan! We rock with discredited anthropology in this bitch! If you don't like it you can take your sensitive ass back to Warcraft."
Colossal weapons? No thanks. I love conan exiles even for its coherence with weapons and armors, colossal weapons aren't my style. About question and answers... well I think this fourth chapter isn't needed at all... simply developers didn't make it on time adding all the contents in chapter three and they added another one... I really hope next year will add serious new contents, new locations on the map, new dungeons and creatures, that's what I need to keep playing this game, and I think I'm not the only one.
Alright, let me say that I'm really looking forward to some of the stuff they're bringing next chapter. But damn, they are really going to have to start putting more stuff in these things. Waiting several months just for a little spoonful of content is absurd. I feel like this age has been 2% new content, 48% gameplay tweaks, and 50% new items for the bazaar. I'm not a game dev so I don't know what it entails and I'm probably talking out of my ass rn but for the amount of time in between chapters we should be getting more right? Also the fact that they are most likely never going to touch sorcery ever again and just leave it as is saddens me greatly. Would love to see corrupted perks for the other 3 attributes as well as new spells and maybe quicker to cast offensive sorceries.
Honestly I'm surprised how much in this chapter, I didn't have super high expectations for a chapter that was only added 3 months ago, likely considered for 6 I imagine. I expect they pulled some content forward and pushed some back to fill it, but I like what's there. Fatalities, new purge waves, the ballista, raids on Siptah and the Sacred Hunt event isn't too bad for a chapter that I think most expected to be bug fixes and number tweaks They will most definitely touch sorcery again, I get the impression they're waiting to pick back up on Mek Kamoses' story to introduce new sorcery elements though, it might not make as much sense in the lore to do so outside of that story, even though there have been a few chances to add new spells. Sorcery in general could do with a bit of love though, there's some very useful spells but I think it could be livened up and made more engaging
@@Eradicati0nn Well, when you lay it all out like that, it does seem like a decent amount of content. I guess I'm just content starved, most of the changes they make are welcome, with a few exceptions of course. I sure hope you're right about sorcery. As of right now it's only really utility, I hope they add some quicker to cast offensive sorceries so I can play as a battle mage.
@@patches7724 Yeah the Age of War has been a little lighter on content than some expected, especially given Chapter 1's only notable feature was the treasure hoards, at least that I remember. The state of Chapter 3 at launch would have put anyone off too. By adding another chapter each age to lighten the schedule a little, hopefully they'll use the time to build more meaningful content that continues to be engaging, rather than something people just do once or twice

the Dye bench was basically a useless thing...now it has use, which is great. I even think they should bring back war paints as a buff...not like a dmg buff, but something that adds depth to builds or functionality...like add light around your character, or make you less thursty and hungry.
Yeah I can see both sides of the dye bench thing myself, though I would like to have a smaller bench solely for dying, not crafting, so that functionality can still be enjoyed for people that only use dyes they find. Functional warpaints would be cool, the only issue would be that warpaints from the Bazaar/BP would pale in comparison outside of aesthetics, as they would have no function, I think most would view functional MTX warpaints as "selling power"
@@yevhensemenchuk6695 It is pretty large, though the logic of having the bench actually functional for something other than holding crafting recipes tracks. I'd like a smaller bench exclusively for dyeing items though, then the functionality isn't exclusively bound to the large bench
I'm talking a break from Exiles. I feel like the developers make the game more complicated with every update. They keep adding grind instead of content. This game desperately needs to be streamlined. Reduced the number of work benches. Simplify the building system. Etc.
The dialogue seems to hint that the Stygians demolished the Ruins of Al-Merayah, killed the followers of Jhebbal Sag that were there, then built over an ancient shrine of his, hence why the god is now angry. I haven't done a deep dive on the lore yet, but that's what it seems like on the surface

Some of the questions were definitely reiterating points from the stream, though I can see why, I did see those questions repeatedly on the forums and social media, and I can understand people not wanting to sit through a 90 minute live stream if they only have a couple of questions. A Content Creator Q&A would be pretty good, though I think one or two Q&A blogs per update would answer most of the important questions
I doubt colossal weapons would ever come into the game, it's my own pipe dream 😂 though lugging around a tree trunk as a max strength barbarian would feel at least slightly grounded I suppose, less so for massive ornate greatswords. I'm actually not a huge fan of Enshourded's skill tree, I like the options but I think the presentation isn't as clean as it could be, I feel like the sweet spot lands somewhere between
That's the questions you people asked?? Wtf. How about useful questions like map expansion or witch doctor recipe coming back or new dungeons..and if they add colossal weapons that would be absolutely ridiculous. This shit isn't even conan anymore....
yea like ask for deeper content for it feel people dont see the live stream with does questions i agree it so kinda stupid becuse all the answers are in the stream
It makes sense that people will ask questions about the most recent update, even if some of them were already answered. A second Q&A that maybe requests questions from a dedicated forum thread about any topic would be a good way to answer questions outside of the scope of the most recent update tho
@@RageFinder Oh nah I know it's not personal 😂 A map expansion would be a good boost, though Siptah seems to have been a failure by most metrics. Modders have a much more freeform scope to do stuff, hence why Savage Wilds is such a standout, and other upcoming maps like Empire of Stygia and Wolves Beyond The Border could be just as good. From an outside point of view, I imagine the cons might outweigh the pros of a new map, unless they're incrementally working on one over a long period of time to eventually release. A new map would be good, but if it means the chapters before or after are as light as AoW C1, or even lighter, I could see that being pretty bad for the game. It's a bit of a double edged sword. I think the best solution would be to officially adopt modded maps like Savage Wilds, get the best of both worlds

@@bosshog9185 Agreed on mods, from what little they've mentioned of it, the devs do wanna do mods on console but I doubt it's that simple. I remember the whole Fallout 4 mods fiasco on Xbox & PS4 😩 I guess that's why the devs have adopted parts of the most popular mods in recent years. Coming off the Age of War: Chapter 3, that update just had far too many issues to encourage people to come back, especially at launch. I imagine some will return if those issues are avoided in the future, but yeah they need something to stay for. Stuff like the Tavern system will be very good a while down the road, but something to pull people in and keep them there right now is just as important, alongside bringing in new players
Man if they don't fix this game and band these cheaters it's dead. Like look at how many people play now. Everyone I played with have stop playing. Bro, you probably need to cover a new game. This boat is sinking.
