- How is DragonKnight this powerful!?! All I can say is "WOW" after playing this easy strong build, I couldn't believe how they actually made DragonKnight even stronger. But the icing on the cake of the easy to set up build is that, it's very simple and easy to set up with many easily crafted sets. Stamina DK is my pride and joy and my go to up in your face bruiser play style, my sustain was amazing, my tankiness was strong, and my damage was the best I've ever seen topped off with some the best HIGHEST PEN and Ultimate generation I've ever seen just Ulti spamming and having near infinite resources, it honestly felt like I was one shot'n players to the point where they would consider it OP with the craziest DoT pressure and insane burst. Would the one bar/oakensoul build players call this open world build overpowered? How do we get this build in order well stick around to the end and find out!

Dude, your builds are great for a new player. I'm just getting into hardcore PvP so I'm not super familiar with all the buffs and what they do, how/ when to use certain abilities, rotations etc. You do a great job explaining all that to noobs like me. 😅 Not only am i getting a great build but also learning a lot about the game. 👏
This build is my ESO playstyle soul-mate. Very keen to see how it adapts going forward as an Imperial StamDK.

Thank you for the video. It's a good build, easy to use and pretty strong. Also very defensive, even in BG you sit in res cap with just two skill. And I have to say, it seems very practical for beginners to throw buffs in the back bar and fight only in the front bar. Also if you want, you can prolong or lock down any fight by just standing in the back bar, spamming coag and making a heavy attack sometimes. Thanks to resto staff.
But don't expect it to be as strong as the actual meta builds in the game. This build has no burst damage or strong dots. Maybe master weapons would go well. Mythic items don't make much sense either.
22:10 shouldn’t you have the nirnhoned mace on the offhand to get 6 W/S damage from the dual wield passive?
@hexapug have you compared shattered and stuhns? i run a toppling charge templar to proc off balance seems to be about 8-10 seconds of downtime. is the full uptime of 8k pen better then 6.8 with the the 2 lines of weapon damage? my thought was no but im really curious to hear your opinion?

I’ve spent many hours multiple days comparing and testing
In short term I prefer Shattered Fate because it’s ready to go straight off the rip, not worrying about any conditions
In Long term, the problem I see with Stuhn’s is that you need them Off Balance which not all classes can easily do, second sometimes you don’t have much time to burst players sometimes you only have time for 2 or 3 skills before they start roll dodge, cloak or heal spamming which can also prevent you from setting them Off Balance, because I strictly play solo so I have to use my GCD’s meticulously
But that’s my Opinion, Stuhn’s is a great set if it works for your play style and preference
But for the Templar that’s an extra skill you have to slot which wouldn’t work for “my play style” but if it works for you great, that’s what I love about builds, we fit to our play style
Hey Hex! I have a question...unless I missed it, what are the ingredients for the enchant for the body pieces? I see the weapon and jewelry enchant formulas but I can't seem to find your recommendation for enchant on the other pieces. Thanks for the great build ideas!
unless im crazy, repora, hajeiko, kuta (mutli stat enchant) , haj comes from imperial city, lots of people use it for tanks .
Thank you for the video! I'm a returning player that decided this is the game I want to stick to, and am trying to stick with just one character to do most of the aspects of the game and will definitely give this build a shot.
I was wondering if you had a werewolf build by chance? I know its nerfed dramatically compared to its old glory, but can one still be viable for the end game content or would I be handicapping myself too much? Never was a fan of vampire, but WW seemed fun. If not, thank you anyways and will definitely try out this DK. Thank you for your time!
Well I got a ww but I only use it if there is other ww around. Can be fun. Honestly tho vamp is kinda PvP meta for the undead passive. You either stage 3 vamp or extremely tanky. Little tip save your ww build on the armory station then get cured and take vamp curse and save it on the second slot of the armory station. Now you can just swap between both curses as you like 😊
Unfortunately I don’t have a WW Build at the moment I have thought of setting up a Cheese DoT build for it one day, so maybe there’s hope
As I never played WW in PvP because you have to specifically build and have different skills for WW in PvP unlike Vamp where it’s just slapped on for the passives and maybe one skill
WW isn’t bad at all though, it can cause some high pressure and survivability if built right
Why not the ice staff from vretched vitality
So after trying this build almost strictly in cyro the sustain is great and resource management is perfect but these things are easy on a DK. However it seems to lack a he burst to kill today’s higher end players. It also lacks a very important execute that really is required to even begin to kill the better players in cyro
Yeah shattered feels good on dk, but i swear penetration doesnt affect shields anymore and its less bursty than something like crit or high weapon damage. I seriously think spriggons/spinners might be better over all, not to mention shattered does 0 for heals sustain or tankiness
I cant get wretched vitality to work, i spend so much time on my back bar i dont offend enough to proc it. its limited to attack procs now

I'm a bit lost... the trainee does count into the markyn bonus even though it's just 1 item ? And not 3?
And how do you fit 5p. Of vitality and 5 shattered plus 2 monster, 1 trainee aaand the markyn ring onto it.. or am I just stupid..?
The wretched vitality is purely on the back bar, meaning his staff. So he goes to back bar and casts either his armor buffs or igneous weapons to proc WV and goes back

@@johnebell99 He does have the fifth piece but only while switched to the backbar. It says he only has 3/5 WV because he is on his front bar with his shattered fate maces. If he switched to his staff it would be 5/5 WV and 3/5 Shattered fate.
@Hexapug I tried this in cyro as a complete noob and it's a great build, sustain is amazing. Although I know my rotation is bad, it feels like I'm not doing enough damage. What would be your recommended "all-purpose" rotation in cyro with this build? Thank you very much!
DoT them up and just spam Flame of Oblivion and CC spam on cooldown, see them drop to about half HP Leap into a fully proc whip
But at the end of the day you can’t kill everyone in PvP, people build unbelievable tanky and just Zerg you down

@Respriter CC stands for Crowd Control like stuns and roots, so just keep stunning them on cooldown and snaring them to make them burn Stam
Whats your thoughts on running burning spellweave with shattered both on front bar? Would that mabey be too squishy? 2 damage sets? Only down side is no mythic though. Im currently running spellweave on front and alchemist on the back, over 7k w/s damage proc but only pushing 7-8k pen
Now that would be some true damage, Burning Spellweave is a great set, but I would highly recommend going a pen set with another w/s damage to just spike the damage to whole other level
However you are sacrificing survivability with no sustain so that’s the only problem I have, because having a sustain set gives you so much tankiness with the amount of heals you can spam
@@Hexapug yeah the sustain is horrendous lol heavy attack on the ice staff to get magic back and waiting on a potion to refresh is too much, the damage was pretty sweet though, dropped alchemist and ran back to daedric. I'll have to try shattered and drop burning spellweave i didn't even know it existed 😕 gg good video. AD 4lifeee

I love the build and it shreds. Just curious why you put so much into health and not more into Stam? I had mine at 59 Stam and 5 health. Just wanting to understand it a little better.

Nord if youre gonna run 5 medium and weave medium,imperial if you wanna run 3-3-1 with max stats food
just curious, how does the lover not benefit you on your back bar?
I’m sorry I should have worded it differently, what I meant is that our back bar is primarily used as our defensive bar so the lover doesn’t provide us any defensive benefit unlike the Thief would make our heals crit more often the Warrior would increase our heals on our back bar, while the Lover is still there when on the back bar but it doesn’t increase our heals or give us any Tankiness if that makes sense

You know what’s funny the small buffs dks got got overshadowed by corrosive nerf. The people that focused on the corrosive nerf and didn’t notice the buffs were the same players that were relying on the ult to play the class.
i can gen ulti with the poisen ulti lol mybe a bug? why healer staff and not ice?

U get major mending plus 30% magicka from heavy attack and extra healing
It's so funny to see and older build i made still stupid strong today. I made it back when wretched vitality came out before leaving. Only I use warior mundas and dont seem to have that high of pen with sword n shield back bar EDIT: Way of fire not shattered

Same exact set as yours just purple, almost same exact stats as well but I have 0 stars on my equipment bonus ?
I think it might just be a visual bug, however the equipment bonus doesn’t do anything, it’s just showing you that you have full or close to gold gear, as long as the other stats look similar you’re set
The only gear that needs to be golded out are your weapons, they make a big difference

Stuhns is same thing as Shattered except it gives 260 w/s dmg to your healing... Traditionally Xers don't run Pene sets because they don't help healing. Second... Any class with Dot's should run All BT and what you said is not accurate... BT does not proc at Low Health or Exe like you say... It procs immeditaely under 90% Health... So 1150 w/s dmg AT exe. You lose less than 300 up front w/s for healing in exchange for ramping w/s that starts instantly. I try to tell people Infused is literally for Recovery if you are in deficit. Friend wanted me to check your build video out... Looks really good... I give it a 10 still.

@@Skewybailey well theres two routes, 2h dizzy swing spam or stun/whip combo. Out of the two id say dizzy swing procs way more often, but i wont deny that stun/whip combo hits harder

I built the build the same way you did. But I don't make dmg and I get a lot of Dmg myself. 2-3 people and I fall into like a tree

So number 1 rule of any Templar make sure you keep your Bubble up 100% uptime, it’s the cheesiest heal in the kit, also learn when to block cast Honor the Dead, also you may want to learn how to kite and line of site players to split them up and avoid taking massive damage at once

Would mist form be better then protective plate??
I don’t recommend it because you do move a distance however it doesn’t cleanse or grant immunity to roots and slows which is a major no for me personally
However if you don’t mind that and mist works for you, it could provide you with some unique buffs and flavor

Yeah I really wish I had bar space for, but that’s kind of what our Whip is for it’s our Pseudo Execute at full stacks

It’s still really good and up to date, you could swap out Deadly for Shattered Fate as it is crafted and hits extremely hard too

Untamed Aggresion buffs your healing and is only 50 weapon damage less than the 200 you get from Wrathful Strikes and Wrathful Strikes does not contribute to your healing at all
Wraithful is 4.5% Dmg done to all dmg. Untamed Agression is 3% Increased Healing and Damage. Now if you have any W/S Dmg Multipliers than it easily can become 4% Healing and 4% Dmg in terms of Base and only helps raise the free dmg and healing scaling the more you have overall.

I forgot to mention it in the video, I personally run Resto because I prefer the passives from Resto, better heals at low health, higher Mag back from heavies, on demand Major Mending and the heavies just feel so smooth
Because we don’t exactly need an Ice Staff for Ele Sus since we get access to Major Breach from Noxious, so it opens up the back bar for almost anything, but Ice Staff is definitely still good for defense

Minor/Major Armor Buff from Vigor and DK Armor buff (3k+6k) as well as defending back bar (3.2k)
I couldn't tell you how many times I wanted to swear because you only give them morth names and now I have to figure out which ability it is before I get it it takes ages
You can clearly see the Base Skills Name directly above the Morphed skill, it’s like directly above the skills name

Why no shield and one hander for back bar
Simply because we want a source of Magic sustain from heavies on the build, you could run SnB’d with an Impen shield and decisive 1H it’s good but once you get Mag from heavies you can’t go back

Sorry for the delay, the build still works well it’s just the set Tarnished Nightmare is plaguing PvP rn, you could easily swap out Shattered for Tarnished, it’s just too cheesy for me to make a build video on that set

Orc is really good if you want damage and good stats, Nord is also good lower damage but super Tanky and more ulti gen for Battle Roar spam, Khajiit could also be really spicy if you chose Aldmeri and don’t “Any Race Any Alliance” upgrade

Are you an Imperial? Also do you have your Heavy Armor passives, Undaunted passives and Tri Stat enchants?
My recovery is only 700 an 900 what am I doing wrong
Are you using a Tri pot, with Jewels or Misrule, also are you proc’n Wretched Vitality to proc it you need to be in combat and use either Race Against Time or use your Igneous Weapons skill while in combat on your back bar
I switched out for trickery so I have shatter fate trickery an barlos instead of blood spawn I have all the traits an im 1046 cp I got the main champion points. Wasn’t sure what passives
I’m using the magic ones should I use tri instead

Strange, are you proc’n Wretched Vitality in combat with Race Against Time or Igneous Weapons, also do you have Jewels of Misrule food, with a Tri Pot used, and your Medium and Light Armor passives?
@@Hexapug maxed passives, yes WV is on. I even did the quest to unlock OSBH and made those instead. I push 1.7k or 1.8k. I’m orc too actually but I don’t think IMP gives your recovery right? Just cheaper cost? So my WP gets higher than yours in build but leg Recov. Wait does tri pot gives Recov? I don’t remember, if so then that’s my problem.
@gho5tspartan26yt Using Tri Pots will give you 30% of all recovs, big tip also level your Alchemy and get the passive Medicinal Use to Lv3 to increase the duration

People still healing / cross healing thru high pen builds that and lag it’s turned into a 50k health tourney fucking ridiculous

Ohhh I’ve been cooking something up with DK and the Maelstrom 2H since they reworked it again, so someday soon hopefully if it works out as planned!
