Thing with this guy is he can go literally anywhere with his voice. "Forbidden" and "When The Bough Breaks" give off a grunge vibe and he sings them perfectly. "Cold Bones" and "Dynamite" are ballad-centered songs and..guess what? They're performed perfectly. The range on this man is unreal.
I met Vic at their concert when they came to Denver. He was just out walking around talking to people. He was a very humble and kind person. On top of that, this band is amazing and one of the best concerts I have seen. They deserve all the success in the world, now go out and buy their stuff, it rocks!
It's like the direction I wished Shinedown would have gone after their third album, but performed better than Shinedown could. Amazing that they aren't a huge name! Thank God for octane
@@andrewkosloski6696 Vic Richie is like Brent Smith but heavier. His voice has more of an edge, while Brent's is more suited for the ballads. Fitting, because ballads are Shinedown's modus operandi. I would love to see Vic and Brent do a rendition of Cut The Cord or something of the like

they're still a good band, just in a different direction than their heavier brand of arena rock they did in the past. They still get their crowds jumping at concert, every single time

Never heard of these guys until I seen em open for Saint Asonia, they had my attention from the very first note, definitely a super underrated group.
