⬇⬇THIS WEEK⬇⬇
I was able to figure out how to build a DIY wood shower floor - after lots of trial and error. I also was able to create an Ikea tall pantry hack since the cabinets have been on backorder for so long. Hopefully this means I can get my countertops measured!

Brilliant 👏 I'm a carpenter and you've just help me out on doing mine 👍 well done
I loved it. I ended up having to take it out because the pan I put down wasn't exactly level so water was collecting under it. I was so sad because I loved it so much more than the tile. So just make sure everything drains perfectly before you put it down!!
Love this! gives you that. . . I woke up one day and decided to remodel everything vibe! And will wing it as I go along feel
I'm researching the wood shower floor tonight and watched a few videos before yours. They all said because the wood is for decking and it is pressure treated, that there's no need to add a protective coating to these. I'm curios as this video is around 4 months old (judging by the comments?) I'm wondering how it's doing for you.
I ended up using cedar because the pressure treated was too hard for me to cut. I did finish it with a marine polyurethane and the wood floor worked great, I loved it. But I ended up having an uneven pan underneath and water collected. I decided the easiest thing to do would be to tile it and adjust for the low spot. I loved the wood flood and it held up great in the time I was using it!
Yay on the fireplace getting ordered!! And your bathroom shower floor is going to be sooo lux!
Can't wait to try it out!!!
It’s looking good ! 🎄💚🙃
Thank you Judy💕
Love the final shower floor look. Glad the first option didn’t work out!
Such a silver lining! I'll be able to use the decking wood for planters - much better!
