Larkin Poe. I've only heard the clips you played on this show, so maybe there's more to them than meets the ear. What I heard was a plastic country band with very obviously pitch-corrected vocals. Is that what passes for rock in 2024?
@@RocktailsRadio I have no doubt they're very talented, but I can hear the pitch correction. The producer(s) would have applied pitch-correction during the mix, not during the take. It's common practice now, unfortunately, but it sucks the soul out of a performance in my opinion. There's also the possibility that I'm wrong-I have do 50 year old ears, after all. But then where'd the soul go? I'd be interested to see Fil @wingsofpegasus do a pitch analysis video.

I've been in the room while they recorded vocals. No pitch correction. Just talent.
