I'm usually pretty meh on boards with 90% of the design hidden under the other 10%... but damn this is so nice. I'd have to turn the keyboard over every time I'm done using it.
To be honest, as a learning electrician that loves crafting weird stuff Out of Junk Electronics the Fixing Part was very Solid. Yeah you might need different Tools or soldering Tips but aye its working and its fun so
Had almost the exact same thing happen where I had a millmaxed H60 PCB where the JST fell off, I was devastated initially, but thankfully it didn’t take the contacts with it, and I was able to salvage it! Otherwise it would have been easily $60-$70 down the drain. Great sounding board and an amazing patina job!
I feel like I just saw a pretty mechanical keyboard for the first time again, hoLY. That was mindblowing. I didn't think a board could do that to me anymore, dayum.
You should invest in UV Resin along with a quality UV light for your own boards or customer boards. I just recently got some and I use it so much more than I thought. Incredibly easy to glue something down and have it dry/harden within seconds because of the light and best of all when cured its shiny and clear. This would have been perfect for the JST.
What is the color of the keyboard you are using during the build ( the 70 % one ) can't see if the color is silver, or some shade of white or retro white ?
campfire andromedas. i wouldn’t say they are the most comfortable. for some the sharp edges/corners are uncomfortable. If you want comfortable iems get something from 64audio. warning though, don’t buy the u12t.
People in chat saying cinder was weird for this are WACK. Love the combo from the client looks unbelievable
Cinder was perfection on this build
This board is almost as handsome as the guy building it
Too kind oh MAN.
Ayo?
Dammm I was holding myself and you just let it out

Quite possibly the sickest looking 65% I've ever seen. Sounds pretty amazing as well.

Looks awesome, sounds awesome and the board is nice, too! Perfect choice of keycaps imo.

Pocket nixie FTW! Love you 😘
Beautiful board, and great video!
Is the HMX Switches used in this video still available?
“Over there? Thanks guys😑” 😂😂😂
Personally I'm not wild about the refinish, but THAT SOUND!
Why would anyone judge using a 6.25u spacebar?
The GMK Mecha Kaiju set would look great on this board!
What cable is this? quite nice

Ngl super impressed that you fixed the pcb, you're too humble about your mad skills
Wow. For that price you’d want everything to be perfect.
Appreciate all the nice words mate🫶🏻
Great work as always!
This looks aweful
@@aa65064 good thing this hobby is all about preference

you always love to see these kinds of commission builds, remind me of the Tfue build
That case is sick

Looks like something recovered from the Titanic. Sick!
Does anyone know what Alex’s daily drivers are? Or his favorite boards of all time
Where’s the Neo ergo vod
completely unrelated but what pair of IEMs do you use? I’ve been trying to find a comfortable pair and I’m curious to know what you have lol

Im watching this in the sun but why does the bottom look like caelid
Where can i find the small deskpad he keeps his keyboard on?
Keebmat
I think they sell the cork ones on novelkeys
@@incongruous4 Thank you :D
what is that cable?
It’s from OrdinaryLabs I think
I think Event Horizon is still the coolest you've built by far.
I would demand a new pcb, that is unacceptable
Would love a full travel hmx switch long poles suck
they make full travel switches also
@@michaeljames1334 oh sh
hmx machiatto are supposed to be full travel! I’m with you in that I’m also pretty tired of most all new releases being long pole.
About the only good thing Keycults are good for these days sadly.
first!
ah man u beat me to it

This keyboard is so expensive and it is littered with issues
Clickbait title... Can you at least put the name of the board please?
Lmao ok
Lol
Don’t worry buddy, you won’t be able to get one anyways, they’re $1000+
@@garrettwest4162 I don't care, I just want to know what I'm looking at, without having to go in the description
