    THANK YOU FOR THIS VIDEO!! You are well spoken and seem so cool, thank you for sharing this information! I am a dental assistant currently between jobs, and I’ve wanted to start a tooth gem side hustle for a while, and after watching this video and seeing a fellow professional speak positively about tooth gems vs negatively, I think I’m ready to start my business. :)

    I don't see where you posted the course video. Is there any other videos relating to applying gems or the course? I see others have asked with no response but fingers crossed.

    Hello Shannon do you offer any course for this? I would like to know more about what material you used for bonding post-op inst. etc?

      Yes we do have a course and will load on May 2

      Can’t wait for the course! Can you give us a preview of what it will include? I am an orthodontic assistant, so this looks like a breeze for me! I would like to get a certification for tooth gems. I see a lot of trainers who focus more on the easy bonds. I’m looking for someone who’s a dental professional who knows the importance of the materials we are going to use, and where are the best places to purchase the tooth gems. There are many items that can be used to place them! I need help deciding on a vendor.

      So you recommend using the etch and the flowable composite and not the bonding agents? I'm certified to do tooth gems and my clients have had some fall off. And I want to make sure I find the best product and method to have this last. They are so cute and need to last at least 6 months to a year. Thanks for your help!

    You only apply etch and composite, no bond? How long do they last typically?

    • @ShannonPaceBrinker
      @ShannonPaceBrinker  4 месяца назад +1

      You don't need it with Tetric! They can last years if not near the biting surface!

    Hi I've just watched your tik tok (thankyou) regarding the skyce kit. I'm a little confused as you mention your preferred etching and also evoflow translucent bond. Are these products in the skyce pack?
    Looking forward to hearing from you Kate SmileInsight NZ

    Hello Dr. Shannon, could you plz tell me how to chose the exact area for placing the Gems, and if you give me some tips and tricks I'd appreciate that.

    • @ShannonPaceBrinker
      @ShannonPaceBrinker  Год назад

      I always go over first before placement is photographs of the patient’s teeth and evaluate their bite. This is extremely important because if you don’t evaluate this prior to placement, this could be the reason it debonds.
      Probably the most popular area is distal of the Canine or lateral. But I showcase areas of the mouth that are popular, then have the draw on the teeth where they want it!

      Essential you would get it polished off. You should always get it taken off by your dentist but you can take it off with floss. but there still might be a rescue hence why you should get it polished by your dentist💗
