I've lived through all these conditions while growing up in Canada. How about -60C in Saskatchewan? Now we live in the tropics. It's much easier to get warm than to get cool for sure!

Lately we have -38C in Edmonton I took a 20min walk to the store yeah I should of take gloves and scarf lol yup but would be worst with the wind .

Good stuff, but don't those ice forming on your windows easy. Make sure your blinds are lifted, your heating is properly working and humidity level inside the house is low

i live in an apartment in calgary there has been a FUCKING ALERT FOR ELECTRICITY AND HOW THE ENTURE POWER GRID IN ALBERTA COULD GO OUT. why do i still live here

I has appendicitis last year and here’s what happened:
Took 1 hour to get a room in the er
Took 2 hours for the doctor to come
Got an ultrasound and they confirmed it was my appendix
Took 4-5 hours for someone to take me to the elevator and get to the right floor
Another 25-30 min wait to get the surgery and ya stayed there for a week cause it ruptured through that time (it can be deadly) :)
not so good healthcare tho
time for skiing holidays

It is but pretty much everybodys windows becomes ice art. Because it was extreme cold -50 overnight.
The condensation from being warm would make it freeze inside double pained or not-especially being so cold! If it freezes her water to powder then yes warmth will melt to water inside and freeze it as fast as it warms!
Calgary looks like any other European city .. very similar infrastructure.. specially like Manchester uk ! Just 10 times bigger than the uk but apart from that Canada looks just liken Uk!

Its not even extreme cold when its dry. Ive lived in wet cold in ontario and that actually kills in mins. 😂😂. Alberta isnt cold at all

How many weeks or months does the extreme cold last? And how cold???
The cold weather begins in early November, sometimes late October and usually lasts till early to mid April. The winter starts at around -10 to -15 until late December when it drops to -25 to -40 and that lasts until mid march.
