    모두들, 안녕하세요.
    Sorry for the delay. I'd been dealing with some technical issues with my laptop. For this lesson, I tried to cover as many Korean sentence ending forms as possible, but...obviously it was difficult. If you have any questions around this topic, please feel free to ask. Hope you enjoy this lesson.
    And be careful. There is an error. At 8:43, the first one is the PAST continuous and the second one is PRESENT continuous. I put two past continuous by mistake. Sorry…😔

      @@jyotimaurya1111 Hi, welcome back.
      좋아해요: When you talk about yourself, you don't need add 시 which is used as a honorific expression, you just need to make sure that 요 or ㅂ니다 are needed depending on the person you are talking to.
      좋아하세요: When you talk about other people who is in Group 1 & 2, this option would be the correct one. For example, If the question was "Does your mother/teacher/colleague like coffee?" Then the answer should be "네, (my mother/teacher/colleague) 좋아하세요."
      Hope it makes sense. 감사합니다. : )

    I think these two videos might be the most useful videos on korean sentence grammar I ever watched! I remember the eurekan moment when I "figured out" the fact that in korean you can also put emotions in your verb endings. I imagine korean sentence endings like the gearshift on a bike. If you don't do it right, there is a ratteling and the bike breaks down. If possible I will skip the eurekan moments from now on and just watch your videos! 😄

      Wow.. I love the word 'gearshift'. You're a genius. That's the word that I should have used to explain about Korean sentence endings. Thank you sooooooo much for your kind comment. ☺️ Hope you enjoy learning Korean.

    선생님, 이 문장을 " 어제는 문장을 할 수 있었다. 오늘도, 다시 한번 더." 맞습니까?

    • @justlearnkorean
      @justlearnkorean  2 года назад +1

      안녕하세요~ Thank you soooo much for calling me 선생님. : ) You can just call me 루나.
      I roughly understand the sentence. Just a few things to be clarified.
      1) 어제는 문장을 할 수 있었다: Another main verb would be better. Because 할 수 있었다 is a combination of 하다(to do) + ㄹ 수 있었다 (could/be able to). So you need another verb to say what you could do with a sentence. For example, 문장을 만들 수 있었다 (만들다: to make + ㄹ 수 있었다) or 문장을 읽을 수 있었다 (읽다: to read + ㄹ 수 있었다)
      2) 오늘도, 다시 한 번 더: I reckon..you meant that you could do something 'once again today'. Then you could say for example, 어제는 문장을 만들 수 있었다. 오늘도 다시 한 번 더! Or you can add more 어제는 문장을 만들 수 있었다. 오늘도 다시 한 번 더 문장을 만들 수 있었으면 좋겠다 (I wish I could make a sentence once again today.)
      Hope it answers to your question. If you need more explanations or you meant something else, just let me know. I'm happy to help you. 감사합니다~ : )
