He may be a Maine Coon mix. They're basically dogs in fluffy cat costumes. Mine plays fetch, loves strangers and sleeps almost exclusively at night. He's adorable and it's great that y'all found each other. 🥰😘💕
Who, in their right mind, would adopt Birdy and then return him to the shelter? He's absolutely wonderful. You're blessed. And so is Birdy.

We got a male Maine Coon cross that had been returned to the shelter twice and was not a happy boy. He talks to us with chirps, trills, and meows and is a VERY happy boy these days. Also turned out to be an excellent mouser. He knows he is loved and get LOTS of attention. Such a handsome gentleman and a delight to have with us.

@@outsider7658 Yeah, those "tofts" on their ears, the shape of their ears, their size, body structure ( Siberians are smaller and more chunky,) and their "faces" are quite different too. I have a cat just like that. He is also about 6 years old and talk to me just like that he is just like my kid, follows me everywhere if I go to a different room of the house he is right behind me every time. He was born in my house from a stray cat that I took home and now I got him and his mama. The strangest thing is his mama is pure black and he is light gray ragdoll I love them both the same.

I adopted a sweet senior kitty who had been dropped ff at the shelter by her family. She was finally adopted by another family and they returned after two months because she was too timid. I came in a week later and she was so frightened and at the back of her cage. I reached in and she laid her little head in my hand so I could pet her. I knew she was mine and now she is my best friend and a happy little girl.🥰😻💕

HE IS BEAUTIFUL ! I TRAPPED A FERAL KITTEN THAT LOOKED SO MUCH BIRDIE. THE LITTER CONSISTED OF 3 KITTENS BUT I KEPT ELLIE AND FOUND HOMES FOR THE OTHER TWO. I WAS NEVER ABLE TO TRAP MOM AND GET HER NEUTERED.
Like our house it is filled with empty boxes because our cat loves them. My decor is for my cat Samson like her decor is for birdie. I don’t care what architectural thinks.

My wife and I are a couple people that have always loved cats, ever since we were little, cats have always been speial for both of us. Sadly, my wife has wicked 'cat allergies' that had made her life with cats very difficult, until we met and became a couple. When we wanted to get a cat, we had heard some breeds were extremely low in the FEL-D1 protein in their saliva which becomes airborne when they clean themselves, and that's what causes an allergic reaction. So, we had found out the few breeds that often had very low levels, and quite happily, Siberian Forest cats were one of the breeds. Well, cutting to the chase, we now have 2, a 10 y/o 17lb male and an 8 y/o female, both purebreds, our male is papered, while our female is not. They are our fluffy children, that provide us with such joy, and out of both of them, our female is by far the chattiest, and she even looks remarkably similar to 'Birdie'. They are very dog like, will play fetch when they feel like it, chase each other around the house, and the most amazing thing, they sleep with us on our king size bed, and my wife has NO allergic reaction whatsoever !! Amazingly beautiful breed, but a rather expensive and a bit hard to find breed, but SO worth every penny !!

Birdie is 100% Cat. He loves boxes as do all cats big and small. He likes to seat and/or lay down in the sink as do most small cats I have known. I don't know why this video is titled "She Trained Her Cat Like a Dog, and The Results are Amazing" since he does every thing a well treated cat does. You are blessed to have found him. He seems to be a wonderful cat!

What is so cool about birdie is he is a calico 3 colored cats there are very few males. It's not a breed is a generic condition. Cats are normally 2 colored, not 3 colored, and the calico's 3rd is ginger or orange.

I❤this cutie chatterbox. I ❤❤❤❤❤ cat's especially stray cat's always be mine buddy. I would pick em up and bring it home. Since COVID 19, my financial getting worse, I ended up renting small room ( which am thankful I have place to stay) yet am up sad 😢😢 because I can't bring cat or pet in. The owner restricted tenants to bring pet. I hope someday I have place of my own with yard or balcony where I can get a pet like cats or dog etc😊🙏🙏
