@@DavidCornish-cn1yq thats 6 bucks per game for 2 days. On a 30 day month (if they even let you hold it for that long) its 90 dollars for 15 different games. The only difference is that its not a physical media you are borrowing.
You have to own games to play though GeForce now it's not like gamepass and Xbox already rasied price for this that's why gamepass is $20 they are giving u more for ur money unlike Sony that rasied price of PlayStation plus by 4x the original Price and gave u nothing in return gamepass is the best place to play if you are on a budget $40 a month to play tons of games or $70 to play 1 game that u still don't own u don't own digital games or physical ether it's says right on disc u don't own the game u just have license to play it
Paying for those two services at the same time is the same thing as buying 8 full price AAA 70$ games every single year for the rest of your life. What kind of time do you have where it doesn't make sense to just buy the games outright? Because you own a Mac that can't do gaming whatsoever? If you have that kind of money maybe you don't understand the average economic situation of regular people, not to mention the time it takes to complete over 8 full price games every year.

hmmmm... $40p/m ($51.5 AUD for GP Ultimate and GEFORCE Ultimate here I think) does seem alot at first.. but looking at an RTX 4080 Computer from a local store.. it's $4000 AUD... so $618 for 12 months... is actually pretty good.. even if you could split that up into 36 repayments somehow (if some retail stores let you do that through a payment plan).. it would still cost $111 AUD p/m. Break it down.. $4000 / $618 = 6.5 years to pay off the same amount which most people wouldn't even hold on to a PC for that long before upgrading to the next biggest thing. I guess you do get more use out of the PC than gaming though... but still... hmmmmmmmmm....
They wouldn't need the physical hardware for the vision they have direction going...... The future is diditak gaming. The bottle beck is keeping the internet up to speed to handle the data transfer etc.
the beauty of geforce now is it is free, its an alternative to buying a pc, only have to pay for the game, when u make it a subscription then it just becomes redundant, and also games i have on steam i suddenly just cant play through geforce now because im not subscribed?
i have an ipad pro. do you think i can make a steam account on steam mobile (from ios app store), buy a game (don’t download it) and then subscribe to geforce now to run it??? I will try it out today. Not sure this will work? I do not have a pc. I am 100% mobile last 8 years. Am about to buy a brother laser printer so i can print directly from my ipad to a wifi printer. I do not intend to ever buy a PC again.
@@derrick8598 YEEESSS it works. I am seriously impressed. I find the xbox cloud experience a bit more polished but geforce now works on the ipad. The only caveat is you can only access gamepad supported games. No classic PC titles or most new titles, BUT that is alot of games. They have a filter so you can see all the games supported on the ipad. Love it. Will never buy another PC. The day that the PC went wireless (printers, game controllers, no cables) the PC was the walking dead for me. The age of the mobile gaming has finally arrived. I intend to subscribe to both xbox cloud and geforce now for the ipad pro. I already have msfs2020 and crusader kings III. But now I have a whole lot more. Xbox controller, giant Samsung TV (apple mirror from the ipad).
Wonder if this goes deeper ... This might signal the next Xbox goes with an Nvidia card, which could lead to GeForce now becoming part of the gamepass subscription. 🤔
No...lol... They're not ditching X86 and delivering (and I quote) "the biggest generational leap ever in a console generation"... They're also not gonna do an AMD CPU with an Nvidia GPU either, they're going to do an APU (and Intel is out of the question)... That is, unless by 'biggest leap', they only mean in terms of power savings and not graphical/compute power...lol I hope that this doesn't come off as argumentative towards you or anything... It's not meant to, it's just what I think... Edit: Maybe for the rumored handheld, though... A Tegra chip similar to what's rumored for the Switch 2 wouldn't be a bad choice for that (assuming it's supposed to play last/current-gen titles or scaled-down next-gen titles, anyway)...
HI Its a Great Deal for Xbox , but it same old Story, Amazon and Geforce excellent idea, but there is still no new content yett ?? Can you log into the Xbox account and Play any game remotely ???
Xbox wants 1 OS between PC and Xbox. That way they can have a Xbox PC store on every device that allows game streaming with Nvidia in the backend. Once the 5000 series launches. The 4080 tier price will come down and Nvidia will fire sale all their leftover GPUs.
....but the console war is over.....take a deep breath and slow down...You should report that series s is sold out due to EA SPORTS COLLEGE FOOTBALL 25
I am ultimate member on both and can never find the option to cloud game my PC game pass on Geforce now. Where do you fin this as its frustrating the hell out of me. Thanks for any advice.
I thought Nivida’s service required you to also own the game you’re streaming via their service (unlike Game Pass). Are they changing this requirement, or will they be updating it to recognize owned Xbox games too?
@@ChristyKrohne You can play it using the Edge browser right now but it’s limited to 1080p. The guy in the video is speculating that it will come an actual app to the Xbox with 4K support, 120 hz and so on. I don’t think that will happen but it would be awesome.
This is totally the future of gaming. They are honestly giving you a 3500$ equivalent powered gaming PC for the price of an XSX (and in the future whatever valued hardware your using ex. Firestick, hand held devices etc). In the future for ex. When the 5000 series GPUs start rolling out, to use this service will be an incredible way to play latest hardware on any devices which are much cheaper to have access to the hardware of latest tech without needing to own latest hardware! Potential downfall is we need to keep advancing internet (especially WiFi) so we can handle latency, low ping etc. For the whole system to work. This is the future no doubt
No it's not the equivalent of a 3500-dollar rig. Not going to even try to explain it because that statement says you don't understand PC gaming much less it's hardware.
Okay let's be clear folks... this is cool ...tis is neat, but to be honest this isn't really as big of thing as you might think. You'd be spending over $40 a month if you had both gamepass ultimate and GeForce's top tier monthly subscription. GeForce is like $22 a month last time I subbed to it i believe. That's a ridiculous amount of money for majority of people to spend monthly on what you'd be getting.
disagree 40.00 will buy a good amount of Steam games. I know it's PC but still it's gaming. Plus we get to play the games that were great and still are like the FEAR series, Half Life series and games like Stranglehold, TimeShift and newer games.
@@OzzyFan80 I'm confused... so are you agreeing with me then?? Did you misread my comment?? lmao. I said $40 is super expensive to be paying monthly for gamepass + GeForce lol
What I want to understand is why they do these things and then resources now on Xbox are not optimized and don't work well because when the bitranet is raised beyond 19 games they can no longer move
He's all excited by the way it works for HIM but he should have mentioned "individual results will vary" cause if you're internet isn't that great then it's unlikely the streaming of any games will be great... it might be better than streaming gamepass games due to the graphocs card they're using but not by much...he should have mentioned whether his connection was on a fiber network or test it out where internet speeds are under 100 mbps which is the case for A LOT of people.
i can play msfs2020 on an ipad pro (xbox cloud)… game changer for me. Ipad is potentially like a gaming PC. love it. Only downside is a time-out feature for inactive (about 5 minutes) but i can see a future there if they introduce a ‘premium sub’ for longer time-out. To be able to play a game without buying it and only pay when you want to play (per month sub) is fantastic for me and cost saving. Hope this geforce happens. $40/mth is alot cheaper than a gaming PC and all the accessories. My only added cost is an xbox controller (cheap).
I wouldn't pay for both but if they integrated it with my ultimate on my xbox I might pay a slight increes but how good has your internet gotta be im on 150 download is that good inuf
In Germany I would pay 424€ per year for both... yeah nah, there is no 'value' anymore, this is a game streaming wet dream that will never catch on unless its way cheaper.
I have an etc 3060 pc with gamepass, I am now also paying for the mid tier GFN with the same power to game on my android tablet around the house, jumping in and out of games I would have never bothered downloading, haven’t used my PC in a couple of weeks. I plan to pay monthly for now and only upgrade to higher 4080 power if a beautiful game comes out that I really need to turn to ultra.
They are throwing everything at Game Pass growth to finish 2024. If they don’t see growth with CoD and the rest of their lineup + all these cloud gaming initiatives they are cooked. I would expect to see Phil Spencer exit in 2025 if they don’t see significant growth to finish 2024.
Figured I'd bring this up, but if you do wish to stream of course hardwire is best. I understand not everyone can do that, getting a high end router is expensive in of itself. What you can get, and people do forget these are things. Is a Power Line adapter. Amazon link below. www.amazon.com/Powerline-Computer-Network-Adapters/b?ie=UTF8&node=1194444

As far as 40 a month goes… I’d rather pay that than 1100 right now for a 4080, then use that to play on every device I own.
Im not paying $40 a month to own nothing!
Same with insurance, internet, cable, taxes, ect. Lets be honest, we havent owned anything since taxes were invented. Also did we forget blockbuster and gamefly, which also did the same thing? I particularly dont use xbox gamepass rental service, but folks being upset that it exist like its the first iteration is insane work.
@@StarkZakuwow thats a logic argument haha
Yup people use to rent games for 6 bucks for 2 days at video stores but the 20 dollars a month subscription fee is evil . People are pathetic
@@DavidCornish-cn1yq thats 6 bucks per game for 2 days. On a 30 day month (if they even let you hold it for that long) its 90 dollars for 15 different games. Compared to 20 bucks to play 100+ games that typically switch out at the bare minimum of 30 days with some day one releases... thats still a steal imo.
You would also need to own that 4080 pc... how would would that cost to buy
Lmaooooo beating eight games in a year is absolutely nothing 🤷 you don't need much time for that
@@milk6765 casual players play like 1-3h a day if you play longer games it’s way better to just buy and own them imo
@@Easy_Noob 1hr a day for 365 days a year is still 365 hours... most games can be completed in under 15 hours so you are looking at 20 games a year... and thats on the low end.
@@StarkZaku I know what you mean but for me most games I buy on 70-80% sale. Most short games I buy for 5-6 bugs so I better buy them and own them. Like now I bought the Witcher 3 for 7$ and I am already at 70h playtime
And got the head up in mobile but damn I love the underdogs and Nvidia sounds greeat
GeForce now is incredible everywhere except iPad
I have pc that’s the only GeForce now I’m concerned with 🤨
I hope they also partner with nvidia again for hardware.
Like with the OG Xbox, yes !
@@thesolaraquarium yes you can. I run beam ng on my xbox
@@thesolaraquarium let me know how it plays on an iPad I'm intrigued
That is, unless by 'biggest leap', they only mean in terms of power savings and not graphical/compute power...lol
I hope that this doesn't come off as argumentative towards you or anything...
Yes we agree with you bud
Wasnt something they announced months ago ? For nvidia GeForce bow to work with game pass subscription games.
You look really proud of xbox
You have to understand how HGUE THIS IS
This would be the smartest thing Xbox could do to make Game Pass a downright stud
Just like Amazon knows Luna
Xbox wants 1 OS between PC and Xbox. That way they can have a Xbox PC store on every device that allows game streaming with Nvidia in the backend. Once the 5000 series launches. The 4080 tier price will come down and Nvidia will fire sale all their leftover GPUs.
Exactly!
Casuals won't pay
But hard-core gamers like me will
#XBOX WORLD ORDER!!!!!!
....but the console war is over.....take a deep breath and slow down...You should report that series s is sold out due to EA SPORTS COLLEGE FOOTBALL 25
This is incredible. Thanks for being the first to drop a video on this!
I didn’t see the option to play with GeForce now. I tried with Starfield on my iPhone
Yeah it's not popping up on mobile for me either. Might just be console
@@javierdelgado3915 what is the point of a cloud game on console??
Easy answer, 4k native 120fps and pc maxed out graphics, just imagine doing that on an xbox series S not X,and it is portable.@@MrXYZMEE
Where on the Xbox do I find the GeForce App? I cant see it anywhere.
It’s not in the Xbox. This is one the Xbox web page.
@@inz92 How do I get it on the Xbox Series X?
@@ChristyKrohne You can play it using the Edge browser right now but it’s limited to 1080p. The guy in the video is speculating that it will come an actual app to the Xbox with 4K support, 120 hz and so on. I don’t think that will happen but it would be awesome.
@@inz92 Ok Thank you for clearing that up.
U can use it from browsers I use the standard deal for free
Yep graphics are shit but the latency is so low that I want to try the 20$ one.
I've been subscribed to both for a while. This is fantastic
@@Mmachine88 I am agreeing with you LOL I misread and misunderstood your comment that's on me. i agree with your point of view 100 percent,
@@OzzyFan80 Hahaha no worries homies, I thought you did. With peace and love my friend
Well for the people that it's too expensive for don't do it 🤷 for the people like me that have the money it's well worth it and is awesome 💯
What I want to understand is why they do these things and then resources now on Xbox are not optimized and don't work well because when the bitranet is raised beyond 19 games they can no longer move
He's all excited by the way it works for HIM but he should have mentioned "individual results will vary" cause if you're internet isn't that great then it's unlikely the streaming of any games will be great...
it might be better than streaming gamepass games due to the graphocs card they're using but not by much...he should have mentioned whether his connection was on a fiber network or test it out where internet speeds are under 100 mbps which is the case for A LOT of people.
lack of Nintendo Switch Game's Are less boring than likes of Pokemon Games but Xbox rules the Luna and amazon Game's IP As well
i can play msfs2020 on an ipad pro (xbox cloud)… game changer for me.
My only added cost is an xbox controller (cheap).
i can only play game pass games on geforce now in my browser window 😭😭😭 how do i fix this?
I really loved it! I was playing Starfield and it was beautiful on my 4K monitor. GeForce is dope af and Xbox
$480 annually to play games? That’s more than I already spend a year on new games, not to mention off years where not much new comes out you like
Is it just Gamepass PC you need to play on GeForce Now or do you need Gamepass Ultimate?
Will never be a thing as long as companies like AT&T and Comcast dominate the internet market
I wouldn't pay for both but if they integrated it with my ultimate on my xbox I might pay a slight increes but how good has your internet gotta be im on 150 download is that good inuf
Are you still doing Upland stuff too?
Yea over on the Upland channel
@@X1TheGamer Glad to hear it. love your vids on Xbox and Upland.
Complete Game Changer
Can't even find it
Same
Don't forget that because you are using the PC version of games you can get the much cheaper PC gamepass
I'm hopeful that our xbox purchased library will be getting xcloud support made even geforce support too
In Germany I would pay 424€ per year for both... yeah nah, there is no 'value' anymore, this is a game streaming wet dream that will never catch on unless its way cheaper.
Xcloud dont beat geforce now atm imo since geforce now is known to be alot more stable even on lower speed connections
Excellent 👍
They are throwing everything at Game Pass growth to finish 2024. If they don’t see growth with CoD and the rest of their lineup + all these cloud gaming initiatives they are cooked. I would expect to see Phil Spencer exit in 2025 if they don’t see significant growth to finish 2024.
Now microsoft needs to create its own internet router to stream these games properly. Bundle that up with gamepass
For cloud Gaming just hardwire your connection
GeForce ❤
I don’t care for this but Xbox should make world of Warcraft free or bid discount for gamepass users
I would never pay that much I’ll just build a pc at this point
cool & all but thats pretty expensive. not to mention gamepass will most likely go up in price again in the near future.
I would pay 40 all day no problem, would be worth it.
40 a month is a no go fam 🤨
If we have to pay $40/Month might as well buy a proper gaming rig.
Its not for all game pass has .
Its for the same games geforce now application has.
Yup, only a small selection still.
i think i might try this on my ROG Ally Z1 Normal.
I'm surprised Warren isn't claiming PS streaming is the best.
You will own nothing and be happy.
As people drink and smoke but complain about a 20 dollar a month subscription fee a month . You right about owning nothing
Sounds amazing but the sub price has to be right!
Nah, I'll have a jail broken ps4 pro soon, that and my steam deck is enough for a life time already.
Most likely a bundle for both at 30 dollars
Can i play squad on my xbox yet?
Why are you lying? I literally just signed up and it is $50 for 6 months...
£32 a month? No, no, and did I mention, no?!
Is this dude been smokin ?
Is this dude ? 😂
He been smoking on that oooooooweeeeeee
He's using a mac... that's why he's hype about gamepass.
X-BOX NATION IS EATING HEALTHY AND THE SONY PONIES AND FANBOYS ARE COPING AND SALTY 🧂 🧂 🧂 ASS HELL!!!😂😂😂
Figured I'd bring this up, but if you do wish to stream of course hardwire is best. I understand not everyone can do that, getting a high end router is expensive in of itself. What you can get, and people do forget these are things. Is a Power Line adapter. Amazon link below.
