Zombicide: Black Plague is one of my favourites. And Brent and I love GloomHaven. We have started FrostHaven, but had to pack it up for a bit. Playing these big games does take a lot of space and time.
Tim Darwent, what the heck?! Great to see your head on my RUclips feed! Radlands, dominion, 7W duel are some of my fave games also. I’ve heard a bit about Zombicide and I always love a good coop / zombie theme, will have to give it a suss, as well as Caverna! - A Feast For Odin is my Fave game of all time so I am a huge Uwe fan! Thanks for the suggestions. Hope you and Kailey are keeping well! Punch Josh for me if you see him 🙂
Great list Tim! Black Plague is the best version of Zombicide I've played just because the reasons you said. I also share your love of the dueling games and you have some REAL good ones. I didn't catch whether you are a former Magic the Gathering fan or not as that is where my love of this genre started many many years ago. I highly recommend Race for the Galaxy. The icons are a definitely learning curve at first but you will LOVE IT. Another that is really growing on my outside of your picks is Wizards of the Grimoire. That one is a lot of explore but simple enough that anyone can play it. Battleline is a Knizia classic that is simple but glorious!
@@PunchboardParty thanks...I was checking if he DID play MTG in the past also. Magic has it's downsides but it is the one game that you can build infinite ideas with a deck and often fosters the love of 1v1 card games like this. I'm with you on the Gloomhaven. I truly wish I liked it because it looks like such a great game, but like Summoner Wars: I loathe the idea of throwing away cards to 'pay' for another one unless it's easy to draw back up (like Race for the Galaxy has)
Great list - I love Orleans! And Daniel, I’m with you, I like things to be changed up. I don’t love things he idea of campaigns and having to keep playing the same game.
@@pickinguppiecesBC the plague expansion looks cool, but I would definitely get trade and intrigue first. The plague expansion introduces some dynamics that can be really frustrating, so I would wait on that if I were you. In fact, I would get the extra place tile mini expansions after trade and intrigue
Dice Throne for the win!!! That's probably my #1 of all time 😊
Dominion is my #1. So fast and satisfying.
Loved Tom's Tip Tan

A Queen game that I think Father Greg might enjoy is Lancaster; a great interactive Euro that plays in an hour or so. Love it!
We like Lancaster!
Top has great taste

These are awesome recommendations Ray! I don't think Tim plays Magic... have to double check :)

Yes! There are so many campaign/legacy games that I wish were not campaign or legacy games so that I could get more behind playing them :)
I got Orleans but am wanting to get some expansions for it. What is the expansion to start with?
None of us have expansion experience for the game. But both Tim and I have our eye on Invasion, with the cooperative option :)
Start with the Trade and Intrigue expansion for sure. It expands the main game the most. The other ones add different scenarios.
Thanks guys! Appreciate the input! Also, I’m intrigued I’m the new plague expansion they’re releasing. Looks pretty cool.

I've been to Saskatoon!
One decent game on his list.
Which one?
