Interesting hearing the comparison between SDC and Dollywood (I'm Dollywood Outsider). The BAF passes for diamond for Dollywood only gets 4 where SDC gets 8. However, they are no blackout dates and they can be used at the same time so easier to use then previous years. The diamond for us at this time is $325+ tax.
I remember the blackout dates being something of a complaint from Dollywood Season Pass Holders, we were surprised when they were issued, I am happy SDC doesn't do that and I am happy Dollywood listened to their loyal patrons and did away with them!
@@b-aadventures Dollywood’s is prob to confusing to go over in detail. The short answer is silver has black out dates for both the park and BAF passes. Where Gold+ has no blackout dates for either. People like to complain, but I was expecting major cutbacks for perks this year and higher prices and both were wrong.
Wow, I mean blackouts for silver I kind of think is ridiculous, but not for the BAF because SDC is given BAF's but you can only use them in certain time frame, which is kind of like a blackout date but not really, basically you don't use them you lose them.@@bubbascruise
Last year for Dollywood if you bought a silver pass it's not valid after this thanksgiving this year. However, if you renewed this year, you get admission for 1 day after thanksgiving for this year. In reality what they are doing is preventing the people that would by a season pass every other year. Then still be able to get in the park for Nov/Dec during the year they didn't buy a pass. @@b-aadventures
