@@PiroKUSS This video is accurate to the speed of the real game it's just that the European version was slowed down. And this is one of the things that makes this game tough is because it's already is just using a smaller view area than the arcade version with less room to move around, but on top of that you can get just as many speedups as in the arcade version. When you're fully sped up you tap the dpad for a split second too long and you crash and die.
To be really really really honest... I never could survive all that shit in one shot... I never got the nerves to play those kind of games, im always losing at first stage at least one Life. :)

After about 15 minutes, they're just showing off.
Awesome video. Playing it on RUclips speed 0.75 makes it feel more accurate to the speed at which the game ran on the original Sega Mega Drive.
Was the western release sped up or is it just the video?

@@weblywoobly Could be due to PAL @ 50Hz vs NTSC @ 60 Hz. Not all developers sped up their PAL versions to match the NTSC speeds.

@@matthewvigano6927oftentimes they would use the same ROM for all regions and the European console would just run the game at a slower speed.

It took me like 25 years to be able to start to even get almost a little good at these kinds of games

Once you get enough P-symbols for side-arm drones, what do extra ones do for you? Also, do S-symbols boost your shots, or just speed you up?
I think extra p's do nothing and S is for speed
