It is expensive but worth the money. Been using it for more than 2 years. Rats do visit the engine bay once in a while and and they seem to leave the bay/car quickly without making any damage. I have heard their panic screaming when this machine is on. They don't seem to tolerate the low frequency ultrasound noise this machine makes.
The manufacturer claims that its efficacy is around 94% and based on my experience I can say that they are not lying.
Opted for it as other methods like the spray, tobacco leaves, etc are not effective after a few days.
Only drawback is that one needs to start & run the engine for a while once in about 10-15 days to keep the battery charged if the car is not driven regularly.

I have shortlisted this product. Rats are active in night. Planning to buy 12v programmable timer so that this system works only in night and battery is saved.

Hi , heard that it drains the car battery, I usually take the car only occasionally for long tour only, my car might be in parking for 3 months or more too, so is it possible to connect the device to other power source like plug point in my garage with the wire leading to the front of the car. kindly clarify .

@@MrDhakshinamurthy 3 Months is way too long for a car remain parked.
You can connect the device to a 12v power source or consider getting a Battery Tender with a charger to keep the battery in top condition.

Thanks for this info. I have been using a spray what’s available from Vista in my car . But how do we know it’s effective against rats ? Weather the radiations are working. You told default mode - how do we change modes and what’s the other mode ? Is there some kind of audio notification which shows it’s activated when you turn off the car ( it’s not practical to check for the green light to go off all times so thinking bit too much )

I have tried Bobcat spray, it's effectiveness is low as the effect of spray lasts hardly a week or two.
As they say proof is in the pudding, when you see no rats remains 🐀 in your engine bay.
The machine comes with a complete user manual or toggle with options, other mode is machine sending radiations even when the car is running, which means less. Yes the machine works on beep notifications.
You don't need to keep checking inside the bonnet, machine works flawlessly.

@@motovin77 Thanks sir - that really helps. Yeah I agree the sprays wont last for more than a few days/weeks. Thats why even I was looking at a more long term solution than a spray once in a month kind of situation.

Do you still own Honda hness? And do you suggest to buy hness now?

No I don't own a Honda Highness anymore, The only thing I disliked about it was low end tracktability, I really wished Honda addressed that, however this can be a non issue for others who don't mind to keep working through the gearbox. Barring this, it's a beautiful machine.
